[Resolved]  Myntra.com — Refund declined for damaged product

I ordered a suitcase trolley worth Rs. 3k and received a broken product. I got the product on 9th Feb, 2022 at 12:26 pm and initiated return in just 4 mins (12:30 pm). The delivery guy came the very next day to pick up the product and confirmed the damage. Now Myntra has declined my refund stating the product didn't clear quality check. How is a damaged product supposed to clear quality check??

I reached out to the customer support and they are like the product was packed well when it was shipped. How does that make any sense! The product could have been damaged in the transit. Why do they have 30 days easy returns policy and the option to claim returns and exchanges on defective products!

Now they have reshipped that broken suitcase and are asking me to accept the product and raise the complaint again so that they can reinvestigate. I don't think they are going to do anything about it.

If you check their twitter account, it is filled with similar complaints from the customers. Looks like they have been doing this return scam for a long time during their sales.

After constant follow-ups and continuously pinging them on twitter, the refund was finally initiated on Feb 19th, 2022. If you're facing a similar issue, please keep following up with them. They will keep closing your tickets, reach out to them on twitter and keep on tagging them.

I had the same thing happen to me for 3 pairs of shoes! They're not able to give me any specifics or details as to why it failed their quality check, which leads me to believe that the shoes are not selling and so this is the way they force customers to buy their products. It's a proper scam. I'm deleting my Myntra account for sure. Their escalation team is completely useless as they basically just take 4 days to tell you the same exact thing without any kind of proof for why it failed the quality check.
