Myntra.com — return request and refund denied for no fault of mine

I ordered a pair of Tommy Hilfiger sunglasses worth Rs. 3999 (discounted price) on 18th February, 2020 and received it on 22nd February, 2020. After trying it on, I didn't like how the sunglasses looked on me (as it didn't fit me well) and so, I raised a return request on 24th February stating the same reason (Return No. [protected]).
On 25th February, a delivery executive came and collected the product. The same guy came back after 10 minutes and handed back the product saying it doesn't have a price tag and so he can't accept the product. Although it had a brand tag but he said a price tag is a must. I explained him I received the product with a brand tag hanging on the product and the price sticker and bar code sticker on the plastic carry bag. Yet he refused to accept the product and asked me to file a complaint or speak to a customer service executive. As soon as he left, I received a SMS stating your return request is on hold.
After this incident, I spoke to one of the customer service executives and she assured me that my issue will be resolved within 48 hours as I have the bar code and price sticker intact on the product cover. But that didn’t happen. Instead, I received a SMS saying your issue has been resolved. I checked the status of my return request on the mobile app and saw they have declined my return request. This made no sense and hence, I called back on the customer care contact number. Spoke to a new customer service executive (as every time you make a call you end up talking to a new person with hardly any or zero knowledge about your complaint) and once again explained the whole story and received another 48 hours of hope from him.
This happened 2 more times and finally I demanded to speak to a senior authority. This time I was told I was speaking to a complaint escalation supervisor and he told me once the return request is declined nothing can be done. I demanded a proof, a CCTV footage or any proof that proves that a price tag was present when the product was handed over to me. He was quite for few seconds (for a moment I thought he slept and I had to perform the cruel act of waking him up from his beauty sleep) and then he said if the price tag is missing the customer has to bear the loss, irrespective of what actually happened. He also said his executive made a mistake by accepting my complaint at the 1st place. So according to him, their only mistake was to register my compliant and entertain me.
I am very disappointed, annoyed and disgusted with Myntra’s customer care service’s response and attitude towards their customer.
I have been using Myntra since a very long time to purchase different apparels and other accessories. But never ever did I imagine I will have to face such a horrendous experience from such a renowned brand.
After this incident when I searched online for Myntra’s review, I came across so many similar unresolved complaints (more than 50 complaints related to “missing price tag” issue, within a span of 2-3 weeks). This indicates that Myntra has come up with a new scam. Their return policy is actually fake and they are using this “missing price tag” rule as an excuse to con people.
Someone needs to take some action against this and I seek your help and assistance to solve this matter as Myntra has made it clear that they will not be able to help me on anything and this is their final decision. I have attached all the pictures of the product, tags, price and barcode stickers and request you to kindly look into this matter, as I think many people are getting fooled and harassed, on day to day basis.
