To begin with, i had received a random otp for myntra on my cell phone on may 30th, without having done any transaction. I checked myntra immediately to see if there was any unexplained activity. Since there wasnt. I ignored that message. Towards 1st/2nd of june i noticed that my myntra account had got locked. On june 4th i tried recovering my account by answering to the security questions and i tried reaching the customer care to explain to them the above and also i was somehow able to view my myntra insider points in the app and noticed there was a voucher redeemed against my points on may 31st. I tried editing the email id of my account as the one appearing was not mine.in my first conversation with customer care they said they had locked the account for security reasons and said they needed four business days to resolve the issue. I would be sent a password reset link on my mail which i had to use for resetting the account password once they had completed the checks and investigation at their end. Customer care has tried calling and i have missed their calls because i wouldn't know when they would be calling and if i was unavailable at the time they called, there was no way to get back to them except via mail. I have been continuously following up on resolving the issue at the earliest so i could participate in their eors sale. After almost two weeks i get a mail today that my account has been deactivated on account of violation of fair usage policy. A link has been given to clause 4 and 13 which has so many clauses to do with the sellers using the platform. How does that impact me as a consumer? I have not been given any evidence of which part of their clause have i violated.
Also in two responses to me, there were references of email id's name and phone number of another person's account. I have concern on data security. Issue management and integrity of the people involved in customer grievance redressal Was this information helpful? |
