[Resolved] Naaptol Online Shopping — customer data breach/theft
On march 9th - 2020, i have received a fraudulent letter claiming to be an official lucky draw letter from naaptol. On further investigation of the letter, i found out that the letter was fake and was intended to scam money.
The question inhere is how did the scammer get hands-on customer data that includes a contact number and residential address. Customer data is a very sensitive matter and breach of such data is a violation. I had no notification from the company until i enquired about this letter. I want a full internal investigation to be conducted on this data breach and i want to know as to how naaptol will take action against the scammers.

It is kindly requested do not provide any kind of financial or personal details to these fraudsters or give them any kind of money because it may lead to heavy financial loss to you.
