Nano Hub — Laptop manipulation without prior consent | |||
Respected Sir/Madam, I gave my hp laptop for servicing due to some heating problems to Nanohub, Kothrud Pune on 11/10/2015. I was told by Mr. Ajit, the person incharge there that the heating issues would be resolved after servicing and the laptop would be returned to me tomorrow i.e on 12/10/2015. Upon asking I was told the display of laptop was lost and we are trying to solve it, after asking again and again finally when I went to get my laptop back i.e on 19/10/2015 he told me that he had changed my motherboard (WITHOUT MY PRIOR CONSENT OR EVEN WITHOUT INFORMING ME) in order to bring back the display. He also quoted "aapke laptop ke zada life nhe hai, nya le lijiye jaldi se jaldi" Most of the functions which were functioning before were not there like wifi, I again gave my laptop back to him to correct it, he said he will add the wifi card (ETHICALLY HE SHOULD HAVE DONE THAT BEFORE CALLING ME TO TAKE MY LAPTOP BACK). Today i.e on 20/10/2015 when I asked to also check for bluetooth he said "vo nhe ho skta, ab aap bologe ke sb krke do"(all these were functioning before, just because he changed my motherboard with some other second hand motherboard WHICH HE WAS NOT READY TO TAKE WARRANTY FOR AND ASKED ME TO BUY A NEW ONE). He has been mentioning that IT WAS HIS BADLUCK that when he accepted the laptop it was functional but as soon as he opened it the display was lost, the laptop graphic card was damaged. Without my consent or even without informing me he changed my motherboard which had functions before but are not there now and when asked to correct those he has been misbehaving and dodging my calls and finally when he picks it up he says VO NHE HO SKTA. I even said fine you changed my motherboard without my prior consent atleast give me some warranty that the other motherboard he has added, will function for some time. HE WAS NOT READY TO TAKE WARRANTY FOR EVEN A MONTH. I still have the bill but my laptop is with him, I have photographs of bill and motherboard he showed was mine and the one he took out (I HAVE NO IDEA THAT IT IS MY MOTHERBOARD OR NOT). Also he is not ready to give it back to me. He says “vo mai aapko nhe de skta” .He has been doing things on his own and treating me as no one. Please please help me, I am an M.Tech Biotechnology student at Defence Institute of Advanced Technology, Girinagar Pune. I am studying and require my laptop on daily basis. He has been delaying and I am suffering really bad, also he has been misbehaving and being a biotech student I have no idea what he has done with my laptop. I am really scared that my laptop will not even function for a week . I SINCERELY REQUEST YOU TO ORDER THE OWNER OF NANOHUB TO GIVE MY LAPTOP TO AN AUTHORISED HP SERVICE CENTER AND CORRECT AND ADD ALL THE COMPONENTS REQUIRED FOR IT TO FUNCTION FULLY AND CHARGE HIM WITH PENALTY WHATEVER YOU FIND ACCURATE. PLEASE REPLY TO ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND LET ME KNOW WHAT I CAN DO AND WHAT ACTIONS YOU HAVE TAKEN AGAINST THEM. First of all its Miss Singh and If you read my complaint carefully, it has been mentioned there yes the laptop was fully functional but it was getting heated. I don"t face any issues in future I first consulted your guy who gave me the suggestion of serving it to resolve that issue. And yes the laptop was on and functioning he checked it and then ACCEPTED it. I had given my laptop previously to Nanohub only.
I HAVE IN RECORDING ON MY PHONE OF YOUR GUY ADMITTING THAT THE LAPTOP WAS ON AND FUNCTIONING AND WHEN HIS HANDS WERE ONTO THAT LAPTOP HE COMMITTED A MISTAKE.To quote exactly " aapka laptop chal rha tha par jb hmne khola aur servicing krne lge uska display ud gya, SHAYAD KHE GALATI HO GYE.
BEING A TECH PERSON I BELIEVE YOU MUST HAVE THAT MUCH COMMAN SENSE THAT EVERY DEVICE THOUGH FUNCTIONAL NEEDS SERVING??? Thats why i gave it and i hope if you have some brain you can understand that. please go back and read what you have written and reply back to me. ITS A DEVICE NOT A HUMAN WHO WILL UNDERGO SENESCENCE AND FINALLY VANISH AND TURN INTO ASHES!!!
He has admitted "IN WRITING" that WITHOUT MY CONSENT HE CHANGED MY MOTHERBOARD, NO CALL, NO PERMISSION. CAN YOU EXPLAIN THAT???? DO YOU DO THAT TO ALL YOUR CUSTOMER, CHANGE THERE LAPTOP COMPONENTS WITHOUT THERE PERMISSION??? IS IT ETHICALLY CORRECT?? I DARE YOU AND I need answer for that...

how can a person give the full functioning laptop for servicing without any reason. if your laptop was ok why did you get for service.
giving a bad feedback for no reason will really not help you out.
Telling the Truth, that Repairing guy really made a mistake .
