Sir/madam. I am a serving defence personnel in Indian Air Force. While going to tamilnadu from Bangalore I had given toll at Krishnagiri toll plaza. I produced defence ID card and toll exemption certificate to the toll collector but she denied to check the above mentioned id’s. I explained her about toll exemption mentioned in defence act and road transport and highway notification. But she even listen to me and collected the toll. Payment receipt is annexed to this complaint. Kindly educate toll collectors to behave properly and instruct them that toll may not be collected from defence personnel’s in future.
