[Resolved]  National Highways Authority Of India [NHAI] — fastag service

The operative at Devihalli Hassan Tollway Limited extracted cash from me as toll telling fastag was not working, and amount got debited from my fastag account too leading to double charging me. Moreover, they are allowing non-fastag vehicles also in fastag lane, and not charging the prescribed penalty for non-fastag vehicles getting in fastag lane.

Tollgate manager mailed and refunded the extra money charged promptly.

The main Toll Plaza at Badarpur Delhi- Faridabad border is highly mismanaged. It takes one & half time more time to pass through FASTAG lane in comparison to general category. lane. Two or three rows of car try to enter the entry gate at the same time causing jam at the entry point. I suggested them to place plastic blocks to streamline the cars to single row but they explained the shortage of blocks & they did not care. Thus the very purpose of having a fastag is defeated. There is insufficient man power to stop the entry of NON-tag cars. With number of fastag fitted cars increasing, the problem is compounded further. It is suggested to have two rows of fastag entry gates on both sides of Toll Plaza.

Sir...when the national highway road works is in progress, the service road and the main road conditions are very bad, should we pay the toll taxes in such conditions...?
I m specially talking about the condition of the national highway development o[censored]daipur to Ahmedabad via Himmatnagar...
Kindly respond as never get response on the land line number or toll free number...
The staff in the first toll from Hospet to Kustagi who let a non fast tag truck into the fast tag lane realised their mistake when the truck came to the scan point. In the mean time my vehicle with five trucks queued in the same lane. The staff impolite and asked us to go back just to take out the truck out from the lane. When we resisted they made us wait. All the persons stopped the vehicles in the other fast tag lane unless we are let move. This all took more than 15 minutes. And when asked about 3minutes rule, they were dum. I don't understand whether its fast tag or slow tag as the vehicles in the cash lane moved faster. The next we travel we I find it better to rip off the fast tag card...
