Sir serving defence personnels considered to be on duty till he get discharged or till completion of superannuation retirement. Whereas toll plaza personnel not ready to accept this fact. Compulsory collects toll charges saying that defence personal not exempted only exempted while driving govt vehicle. Lot off confusions prevails on this subject. They quote verbally everything and never listen to defence personal. It's a common there. Kindly issue a clarification notice if any kind of withdrawal of concessions provided to defence personnel. Updated by [email protected] Sir serving defence personnels are harassed by booth operates. Serving defence duty consider as on duty till his reserved period or up to discharge from service. This is not understood by the toll collection person or supervisor. Hirebhagewadi belgaum toll booth frequently trouble defence personnels and irritate answers. Kindly if such exemption there or not kindly intimate accordingly. Thanks warrant officer k sakthivel indian air force.

Updated by [email protected] Sir i am traveling in my personal car bearing registration number ka22n 9628 to bangalore. Tax collecting personal and supervisor mr jeevan jadav showing a letter stating toll collection regarding paramilitary forces. Inspire of showing chandigarh tribunal judgements dated 11 aug 16. He denied roughly. His shown letter also it's clearly return that tax exempted as per af and army act 1901. But harazing defence personnels without understanding rules and regulations that started gathering other personnel in support. I have paid rs 170 for my journeys. It is not the matter of money. It is previlage provided to serving defence personnels to honour their duty. Kindly do the needful to stop like this harassment to serving defence personal.
