My father is expired in month of January'21 because of heart attack and we have been chasing insurance company for claim since then.

We were informed a couple of months back that claim is cleared, yet we haven't received a payment from insurance company.

Services provided by the agent is also pathetic.

    Dear Sir,
    I had submitted my claim for Right Eye cataract operation for Rs.37, 550/- on 4th January, 2021 with Heritage Health Care TPA at their Vadodara Branch.
    After constant follow-up I received quarry on 16th February, 2021. (after lapse of nearly 42 days). I replied to the quarry on 16th February, 2021. As on to-day status of my claim is not updated. On inquiring with their Mumbai and Kalkata Office I getting stereotype reply "Claim is under process".
    Surprisingly on advice of Mumbai office when I approached Kaklkata office one Mr.Haider asked me to let him know where their Vadodara office forwarded the papers? Is customer is suppose to know the internal procedure or chain of process?

      I tried to renew my car Insurance through National Insurance companies website.
      Amount paid through upi and shown transaction successful with txn id[protected]. Amount was deducted but then website shows that transaction failed.

            I myself Amit Shashikant Frank is holding a health Insurance policy of National Insurance.My policy no is[protected].I had admitted claim of Rs.239858/-against hospitalization of myself due to Corona via claim no.CCN:HH[protected]/[protected] in TPA of co Heritage health insurance TPA Pvt. Ltd Heritage health india TPA Pvt.Ltd. had settled my claim amount Rs.161372/- against Rs.239858/-.In which i have found Rs.51510/-is wrongly debited by TPA so i had written detailed letter to Heritage health Insurance TPA pvt.Ltd Surat and Ahmedabad office & also had sent copy to Register office of National Insurance.Though one month passed but there is no any reply rceived from Heritage Health Insurance TPA Pvt.Ltd. and National Insurance so i had again send letter to Heritage and NationalInsurance and also has sent copy to Insurance ombudsman.

              I am Parimi Prabhaker, retired Kotak Mahindra bank employee, having health insurance policy no 251100/50/20/1000324 for Rs 4, 00, 000/-

              I have admitted in hospital for Covid 19 on 01-11-20, and treated.

              Hospital bill of Rs 2, 91, 034/- has submitted to Safeway TPA on 02-12-20, vide my claim no NI-18-3947.

              Surprisingly only Rs 1, 76, 506/- has settled against my claim amount of Rs 2, 91, 034/- dis allowing a sum of Rs 1, 14, 531/-

              As I am incurred/met all the amounts from my pocket, the hospital and medicine bills are produced in the claim, and besides my policy is for Rs 4, 00, 000/- a sum of Rs 1, 14, 531/- disallowed.

              The following are the major items which are disallowed, and which are not supposed to disallowed and to be settled in toto.

              Amount of Rs 37, 500/- deducted towards excess consultation charges,
              Rs 10, 000/- deducted towards Nursing charges as per room rent capping.
              Amount of Rs 19, 750/- deducted towards drug administration part of room rent, not payable.
              Amount of Rs 17, 500/- deducted towards utilities
              Amount of Rs 3, 700/- deducted towards Emergency services and
              Amount of more than Rs 4000/- deducted towards gloves etc.,

              I request the insurance company to look into the same and reassess the SAFEWAY TPA appraisals and arrange to give credit, of the disallowed amount of Rs 114 531/- early.

                My name is Vipin Kr. Singh s/o Late Mr. Madan Gopal Singh, working with LG Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. I have Family Health Plan Insurance Policy from National Insurance Co. Ltd. from last more than 10 years. My father was Hospitalized from 29thDec 2018 to 20th January 2019 but he couldn’t survive and passed away. I submitted Original copy of Detailed Bill of SGPGI Lucknow, which contained every details ie all deposit amount detail and expenditure against that amount. The insurance company asked for original copy of each cash deposited receipt which was misplaced cozed I was totally disturbed due to my father’s illness. Anyhow I requested to the hospital and they provided duplicate copies of all cash payment receipts and same I provided to insurance company. I received 3 mails for insurance company and in all mails it is mentioned that all documents are pending. I also regular in touch with HR person of my company regarding and he informed me that he has handovered all documents to insurance company and talked also regarding my case but Insurance company is not agree to settle my claim because cash receipts copies are in duplicate form. I spoke to HR person finaly regarding my claim and he assured me that he has submitted it for settlement and will be cleared by the month of July with some approval but I didn’t get it. Insurance company delayed it and didn’t tell me clear picture. In Feb 2020 I got a mail from insurance co. that my claim is regected due to non-submission of proper documents. In Mar 20 when I finally asked the insurance person regarding he told me that now the claim cannot be given as it has already more than 1 year passed. I spoke to PR Deptt. Of PGI Lucknow and they assured me that if Insurance Co. gives a Demand letter and ask for details, they will provide all details of my father’s case but Insurance Company’s person denied it. Now I request you to please intervene in this case and help me to get my claim. It’s a big amount and matters a lot for me. Please help.                   iam your valuable customer for the past 8 years, i am paying the mediclaim me and my spouse yearly 5200 +, but suddenly they had increased their premium amount is 11, 294, double the paying amount, why the reason, we are middle class family, this is tomuch, if your companu want to grow means why you are giving more trouble to customer this one is very bad, please take this as more important and please help me to reduce the amount

                    I paid my policy through online mode with UPI transaction on 25th January & it failed, although my amount of ₹11, 824 was debited from the bank and the insurance company hasn't refunded it yet!
                    I wrote a mail to them but they are not replying. Please do something about it as it's not a small amount!

                      We had recd cashless approval from Mediassist TPA in 2018 for the patient Mrs.Santhi for Rs.26000/- thru her policy number[protected]_FP from NTT data corporate and ccn of the claim is 18605611. Mediassist claims that claim is settled and they could not able to get UTR number from National insurance. We are running behind them for more than 3 years. kindly solve the issue.

                            My Complaint is--
                            There is no mention of Insurance cover on the ID Cards, It is not clear whether the policy covers both Base policy & Super Top up.
                            When I equired with your Toll Free number the concerned replied that they are having Base policy details and not having data of Super Top Up.
                            I request you to clarify why the policy coverage amounts is not mentioned on the ID Card. nor a separate ID card with Super Top Up policy not issued to me.
                            I request you to clarify and confirm that I am eligible for Base Policy amount of Rs. 4.00 lacs and ST Policy cover of Rs.5.00, in case of hospitalization by myself or spouse

                                I I issued the policy from Nisheeth Ranjan white policy number[protected] [protected] name of Mamta Mohan I got the the vehicle RC in name with effect from14/11/2020 but I have valid consent of seller with policy by a agent behind the office doing necessary work but Nil depreciation is not being transfer by the office I am running pole to Pillar no result please help me getting my policy transfer with Nil depreciation
                                because 12days spend to transfer the RC I had inspection the vechile on 20/11/2020 by the company representative and paid for it

                                      Sirs,
                                      We have been having our cars’, tractor, health and foreign travel insurance, from NIC for last nearly ten years.
                                      Our Tractor insurance expired on 05/10/20 but before that the local agent was reminded on 19th Sep and he ultimately collected a blank(normally it’s not done) crossed cheque in NIC’s favour on 7th Sep after subsequent reminders and requests for corrections of wrong entries in the policy.
                                      However we noticed that no mention of ‘no claims bonus’ appeared on the policy and we were charged perhaps full amount, for the past seven years that we have been renewing it.
                                      I also requested the agent to change the cover from comprehensive to third party, expecting it to be cheaper. However, to my utter dismay, I was told that payment by cheque, for ‘ third party insurance’ is NOT accepted by the company and it has to be made in cash. This is not at all acceptable to us due to various reasons besides doubts about clean dealings. We wonder how cheques have been accepted for every policy in the past and now also they are acceptable(as told) for comprehensive policies but NOT for third party insurance.
                                      On careful scrutiny and comparison with our own car insurance it was also noticed that cost of third party insurance of a lighter(595 kgs), smaller, bodiless older tractor that hardly ever rolls out of the farm premises or plies on public roads is MORE than the cost of comprehensive insurance of our own costlier, heavier(laden weight 1800 kgs) and newer car plying much more on public roads and more prone to self/public damage.
                                      Whatever may be business considerations this anomaly is rather serious as it is detrimental to farmer interest and it appears that even IRDAI is also unconcernerned about farmer vows and suicidyes and topping on the crowded bandwagon of farmers exploiters.
                                      It is requested that contents of policies of numbers i[protected] and ii) ….2775 may please considered.
                                      Necessary clarification/directions on the above also please be given very expeditiously to avoid i)Limiting the use of tractor within private farm premises in absence of mandatory insurance, ii) Switching over to other insurance providers, though not a very credible alternative. iii) Approaching IRDAI or PMO or seeking legal recourse for claiming refund of overcharge, if any.
                                      In view of the above any damage to our interest as customer will be the responsibility of NIC.
                                      Sight delay, due to inconsistent and tricky submission system, is regretted.
                                      Your favorable and fast action will be highly appreciated.

                                        Whatever may be business considerations this anomaly is rather serious as it is detrimental to farmer interest. Insurance providers and even IRDAI also appear blind about farmer vows and sharing top of the crowded bandwagon of their exploiters.
                                        It is requested that contents of policies of numbers given above and at additional reference may please considered.
                                        Necessary clarification/directions on the above may also please be given very expeditiously to avoid i)Limiting the use of tractor within private farm premises in absence of mandatory insurance, ii) Switching over to other insurance providers, iii) Approaching IRDAI or PMO or seeking legal recourse for claiming refund of overcharge.
                                        In view of the above any damage to our interest as customer will be the responsibility of NIC.
