[Resolved]  Naukri.com — complaint regarding fraudulent job offer from naukri fastforward

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention a concerning incident involving a fraudulent job offer that I encountered through Naukri FastForward.

Recently, I received a phone call from "+91 [protected]" someone claiming to represent Naukri FastForward named Akash, offering me a job opportunity at HCL Technologies. They told me that I had been shortlisted from naukri.com for a frontend developer position at HCL and we are not a consultancy. We will directly provide you with the job with a 100% guarantee. They asked for an assurance amount of ₹2400 and this will get refund after the process is completed.
After completing the payment of 2400 they send me this message..

Then on Sunday at 11:32 saying that you had been selected for the further process and needed to verify your documents with the email above.
They were saying that you will get 72, 000 salaries and your joining date will be on 14 May so first you need to verify the document and it is a government process so you will have to give 5800 for it which will be refunded to you on the date of joining with the previous amount of 2400 also.

I called them on Monday 22-04-24 and told them that I don't want to continue this service and I wanted my refund then he talked to me rudely saying that every company will pay the verification document amount and when I said I wanted to discontinue this service they are saying you will get refund in 20-24 days and didn't give me the refund immediately as they have said during the payment of 2400 that they will give refund immediately.

Suspecting foul play, I would like to report this incident to your team and seek your assistance. It appears that this was a scam, and I am concerned about the misuse of your platform for such activities. I have not provided any further payment, and I believe it's important to address this issue promptly to protect other job seekers.

Could you please advise on the appropriate steps to take in such situations? How can I get my refund as soon as possible. I am more than willing to provide additional details if needed to assist in your investigation.
