[Resolved] Naukri.com — I m complaining about fake calls from naukri.com | |
Its been 1 year that i made my account in naukri.com and after that i got so many genuine offers offers from them and they never asked me for any money. One day i received a fraud call from a site who is offering me a job by giving 2000 rs. Which i immediately rejected and on the next day i got a similar offer but the site was different, this time is naukri.com. A lady called me and told that she is from naukri.com and out of 100 resumes only 7 resumes are selected for hcl company and mine one is also one of them. She told me the that the hr of hcl is going to call me for the interview between 2 to 6 pm and i need to gave him the reference code provided by them which confirms my 90% chances for getting the job and the remaining 10% he will ask some basic questions related to my field and personal questions as well. But for getting the reference code i need to pay 1800 rs. To them and that too after selecting in the first round and the second round will be a face to face interview which will be very easy and the amount will be refund in my first salary and the post which they are offering is of software developer and my starting salary will be 30, 000 rs. I already know that this all are fraud because naukri.com never charges for a job so i gave them some reasons so she said ok. I was so shocked that someone taking money in the name of naukri.com and as the call ended i searched out and read some conplaints and happy to know that my decision is absolutely right. On basis of past complaints from jobseekers, we encourage you to be wary of emails that • Ask your personal, non-work related information such as Credit Card numbers or Bank information over phone or email • Do not provide a call back phone number or provide contact information that is outside the country • Ask for monetary transactions, money-transfers, or payment for Job Applications, conducting interviews, or any other such employment/recruitment related purpose • Promise a guaranteed job • Promise emigration and ask for money to process visa, etc. Please go through our fraud alert page for further information. I just got scammed for Rs 2900. I have been desperately looking for job for months, and when a lady called me she said she was from naukri.com and that i was shortlisted for wipro company. In desperation I paid her the amount but later realized that i was Scammed. When I confronted them they said my cv will be banned for 7 years and I wont be able to work anywhere in India. Further they asked me to pay 35k to the legal advisors that will visit my house in the next 4 hours. I refused to do it, so they said if I want my CV to be removed from legal actions I'll have to pay them 12k on the spot which will be refunded later. Please don't fall for such fraud calls.
