TATA POWER DELHI DISTRIBUTION LIMITED IS THE WORST SERVICE PROVIDER IN DELHI.
I SAID THIS BECAUSE I HAVE STRONG INCIDENCEIN WHICH I CAUGHT.
ACTUALLY MY METER LIGHT GONE AT 12:10 A.M. AND CALLED AT 12:20 A.M. AND IT IS TOLD TO ME THAT YOUR PROBLEM WILL BE SOLVED WITHIN 2 hrs. AND GUESS WHAT I GOT THE SOLUTION AT 10:04 A.M. AND IT IS POSSIBLE WHEN I CALLED ATLEAST 10 TIMES IN TATA.
I EVEN DON'T SLEEP THAT WHOLE NIGHT.
SO MY RECOMMENDATION IS THAT IF YOU WHAT NEW CONNECTION ITS BETTER TO CHOOSE ANY OTHER OPTION THEN TATA.

NDPL — light cut for 2 hours daily

NDPL cut the power everyday for 2 hours (7-8 a.m. & 8-9 p.m.) without any reason of particular area. we cant make food without light morning and everning. If change the time of cut the power otherewise, cut the power of whole village.

    Hi Team,

    This is in regards to NDPL meter running very fast. I got my meter installed on 8th may 2013, since then till 25th july 2013 it shows total reading of 1958 units on domestic use which is approximately 25 units a day.I was told by ndpl that cal light should blink 11 times in 1 minute with one fan and one tube light on however it blinks more than 60 times in one minute. My ca no is [protected]. I request you to fix it adap.

    ndpl meter — fast meter reading and day by day increase bill amount

    i am very dispressed and tension to meter bill. this is very fast meter reading .

    NDPL — fast bill

    this is to complain against fast meter , we don't live during the day time at home but still the bill we received this time is too much Rs3750, (1020 units) while prior to that my bill was around 1700/- max

I have request[protected] for meter remove (temp. connection) on date 26/02/2013 after as per your record I cancel it but I have never cancel this request I take permanent connection on 13/02/2013. Some day before I visti your Bawana office to get by security refund but you officer told me that in our record meter is not remove they suggest me to visit at Karala office I met with Mr. Manas at Karala office he says that we have remove your meter but store person is not available that time I meet with Mr. Manas four time but he always said that store person is on leave. I also meet with seniour person but there is no body who help me Or solve my problem.

        I want my security refund, please see the matter & solve the issue.

          Vide letter no. [protected], NDPL asked to enhance the sanctioned load as the load during oct, August and June 2012 was 2.98, 3.22 and 3.96 respectively. The MDI recorded during last three periods i.e. dec. 2012, jan, feb and march 2013 is around 2 which is the sanctioned load. Still by giving and choosing wrong period, NDPL is asking to pay 1200 else they will charge in the next bill. It is unilateral and unauthorised.

            my sister applied for new connection but the office holders asked her to pay Rs.2000 for their convenience.They told her that her dacuments of house are not proper,which is absolutely wrong.I hope authorities would look into this metter and will provide a new connection and meter.

              our ndpl CA no. [protected]k installed at address AG - 375 , Sanjay gandhi transport nagar , Samaypur Delhi - 110042 . we applied for load reduction . Accordingly we deposited Rs 7000/- as load reduction charges against DNno.[protected] . The ndpl contractor employee mr. jaidev ( employee of m/s shyam industry - contractor ) visited my place on 10.12.2012 to replace meter . our dispute is regarding old armoured cable which i personally provided to ndpl . ON 20/04/2009 , NDPL TRANSFERED CABLE CONNECTION FROM FEEDER PILLER TO OVERHEAD CABLE. The cable was lying underground . The ndpl didnot even tried to unearth the cable . due to this you are surprised to know that for 2 full days we have no electriccity . after that we provided our new armoured cable by purchasing from the market . now they are insisting to recover old cable. we requested Mr. Harpreet
              ( J O OF NDPL LAWRANCE ROAD )NOT TO RECOVER OLD CABLE . I REQUESTED him to unearth the old cable which is still underlying . But Mr. HARPREET without considering my request told me VERY HARSHLY that we will not replace the meter.

              Now i request to consider my case at priority and do needful

                This refers to the application for the new power connection at B-1/155, Agar Nagar, Prem Nagar, Part III, Main Mubarakpur Road, Nangloi, Delhi-41. We have requested with a written application for the new Power connection on 5th September, 2012 and the request no is [protected] ..but unfortunately the same has not been done so far.

                Me and my father has visited your Lawrence Road and Karala office many times but no positive response has been given and no action has been taken so far.

                I hope you can understand the urgency of our request and kindly take the necessary action to get the power connection at our house at B-1/155, Agar Nagar, Prem Nagar, Part III, Main Mubarakpur Road, Nangloi, Delhi-41.

                  Subject: Regarding removing of NDPL’s electric transformer’s safety railing on open sided sewer.
                  I applicant Mohd Ahmed s/o Mohd Shafique, sector- J 3281. North west Narela, (Narela industrial area) Delhi runs a factory. Electric transformer of NDPL is located. Safety railing located by NDPL covering electric transformer which also covering open sided sewer of MCD as well. Due to covering, the cleanliness work of open sided sewer cannot be done. That’s why water fills in open sided sewer and water spreads on the road as well. Due to spreading of water on the road, water also comes in our factory as well. For this there is a huge loss occurs in our factory. And it remains always possibility of electric shorts accidents. We have other electric transformers located on that road, that is not covering the open sided sewers through safety railing. Only it covers ours through electric transformer’s safety railing.. We have made complaints earlier to the department but no hearing have been done so far. If any accident would happen then NDPL will be responsible for it. This is illegitimate to cover MCD’s open sided sewer. That’s why safety railing to ouster from the open sided sewer. For this MCD sweepers can clean the open sided sewer. MCD officials visits and they give warnings to applicant again and again about removing of safety railing for this they can do cleaning work. That’s why we are forced to do complaint again. If safety railing don’t get remove early then we can go to court. Kindly removes the safety railing as soon as possible. For this the problem of filling of water could get away. We would be very thankful to you.

                      The meter no mentioned in NDPL bill no [protected] dated 27/01/12 is 20000242, whereas the meter no mentioned in bill no:[protected] dated 25/08/12 is 43161438. These are entirely different meter no. Therefore I am not sure if the billing is correct.

                      Please address this discrepancy on urgent basis so that the payment can be made on time

                        I am living in Noida, Vill. barola sec-49.
                        I want to submit a compalint against my landlord who working in Govt.Electricity board,they running every electric equipments with direct electricity.All rented family pay him full meter reading & he run the power in free. he is doing misuse of Govt.employement.
                        Everyday after 10:30pm he make the house electricity direct & run all fans,water motor,bulbs,cooler,refrigerator & heater also.In summer season they always using the heater for cook the food.
                        My landlord name is Ramkumar Chauhan S/o Kalu Ram.
                        I request to BSES/NDPL & concern department that please catch him at night for electricity theft case & punish him with a hard punishment.

                            Hi,

                            I am Varun Malik Residing at B-7/29, Sector-4, Rohini, New Delhi - 110085. The connection is in the name of Kundan Lal Malik and our K num is [protected] and CA num is [protected]. Our connection has lost on Saturday around 06.00 pm in the evening. We have logged a complaint to NDPL customer care. We have called 20 times to follow up the case but everytime they replied we will see it on a priority basis. Our complaint number is [protected], their services are rediculous.

                            Everone in our area except us are using the services only not us. My grandmom is staying with us and she is of old age and she is not well. Her body is not supporting so much of heat. If anything will happen who will take responsibility of that. It's been more than 18 hours we have not heard anything back from NDPL and we are not aware when they will come to fixed up the services.
                            We are tired now from chasing them and we spent a lot of money to call them as they pick up our phone after 15 or 20 mins. It's my humble request to look into this matter as we don't know there are many people who are suffering with this problem. So there should be proper action take against them so that they know about their pathetic services for which they are charging us a lot.
                            I am waiting to get a respose from your end.

                            1. The staff performs very slow when the use to come to repair faults. Moreover, when we ask that how much time will it take, they always makes false commitments and usually takes more than double of the initially committed time.

                            2. The field workers smokes and chew Paan at the time of repairing faults and and works very poorly and very slowly as seen at the fields.

                            I wake up 5 in the morning and has to leave for my workplace by 6 am and reaches back at around 7:30 in the eve back to home. I do go to my bed at 11:30. Now in past 1 month, we have power failures in our area (CC Block, Shalimar Bagh, Delhi-88) for 4 times and each and every time the field staff and the seniors commit us the wrong time, plus the quality of work is so poor that every time there is a same problem of "Cable Damage" and the same happens at the time when I m about to go to my bed. I cannot sleep for more than 2 or max 3 hours a day in this case as without power, it really difficult to manage with the mosquitoes and as it is a summer season, it can be understood that how one can sleep in such a condition. Also the workers don't know the manner of how to talk to the customers, there treatment to the customers is like they are talking with there friends or relatives. And the charges are very high even then, when there is a power failure for about 4 hours a day. Kindly look into it as I do have great hopes from the registration of my complaints at this site. Please help me out :-I

                              Many times we went to the NDPL power supply ( north delhi) office for change of address of meter no. 40119690, K no.- [protected], but they did not changed the address. Our address is 1008, rani bagh , delhi-110034 but NDPL is sending bill to 733, rani bagh, delhi-110034.
                              Now, after going many times to office they given bill with penalties. We are ready to pay bill but without penalties. we request you to please take action.
                              Bill is coming to 1008, rani bagh from more than 30years but NDPL starts sending bill to 733, rani bagh, delhi-110034, we request to remove all penalties in bill.

                                  हमलोग अपने मकान मालिक के खिलाफ बिजली चोरी का केस दर्ज क़रा रहे है.दिल्ली के मुख़र्जी नगर मैं मकान नंबर -440 ,के मकान मालिक सुरेन्द्र सिंह के मकान मैं हम लोग आईएस की तैयरी करने वाले विद्यार्थी रहते है.हमारा मकान मालिक NDPL द्वारा तय कीमत से जयादा बिजली बिल लेता है & साथ ही साथ अपारदर्शक मीटर बॉक्स पर हमेशा ताला लगा कर रखता है जिस से बिजली की चोरी करते समय हमलोगों को पता ही नहीं चले.ताला खोलने को जब कहते है तो बोलता है की ताला नहीं खुलेगा.मकान मालिक द्वारा ऐसा करने से बिजली का अतरिक्त बिल हमलोगों को देना परता है,जिस से हम विद्यार्थी पर बोझ पड़ता है बिजली चोरी से वह पानी का मोटर चलता है,जिस से NDPL को नुकसान होता है. .

                                  अत: हम विद्यार्थी NDPL के अधिकारियो से विनम्र निवेदन करते है की दोषी मकान मालिक को रंगे हाथ पकर कर उनपर करवाई कर दंड दिया जाये जिस से भविष्य में कोई भी बिजली की चोरी नहीं कर पाए.साथ ही साथ हमारे मीटर बॉक्स पर लगे ताला को भी खुलवा दिया जाये & उसका दरवाज़ा पारदर्शक हो जिस से हम विद्यार्थी लोग समय समय पर अपने बिजली के मीटर को देख सके.

                                    My name is Nitin Dhingra. I am resident of M-2/23 Model Town-III, Delhi-110009. CA no: [protected]
                                    There is a pillar just opposite my house, i do not know as to why the blasts happen on that pillar every now and then.
                                    We call NDPL no supply helpline, they send technicians and the issue gets resolved but we do not get permanent solution to this.
                                    Ever since summers approached, this problem is happening on daily basis. NDPL can check the complaint logs, M-Block complaints regularly regarding the same to get the permanent solution. Today, on 27/05/12 Sunday, a blast occurred on the pillar. I lodged a complaint regarding the same. The complaint number is [protected]. Two technicians came ( I would not call them Engineer ), i had a word with them. I told him to fix the concern for ever. He very rudely said " Din mai sote rehte ho kya? Kya karte ho?" I told him that we all are working and we have complained regarding the same many a times. He said i can only fix it temporarily for now. Call NDPL helpline in the morning and tell them that some box is required to resolve the issue for good. I understand he told me the procedure to get rid of this problem but is this a way to speak to a customer? And also this is the first time when someone has informed about the box that can fix the problem. Now can i ask you - do u guys sleep during work that it took you so long to tell the solution and when you know how to fix the concern, then what are you waiting for "President's order"?
                                    Please fix the issue as soon as possible and inform.

                                    I escalated this matter to the highest level possible. A senior team visited the site and then they asked the local technician team to change the wires and the box on the pillar. That's how it was resolved.

                                      sir mera name sumit ha sir meri gali mai bohut badi bijali chori ki ja rahi hai last 3 year se koi bhi adhikari action nhi leta sir chori karne wale ka name kishan F 184 and raju F 185 ha shakurpur delhi 110034 sir makan bade bade hai ek makan right mai ha aur ek left mai ha sir in dono makan ke bich mai ek khamba hai aur uper se ndpl ke tar mai se alag se tar lagate hai chori ki tar sir plz plz inko saja do chori upar se karte hai 24 hours karte hai 4 pm to 11am sir inke makan 5 5 manzil ke hai aur makan mai 2 3 AC bhi hai plz inke uper zaldi se zaldi action liya jaye sir meri baat ekdam sahi hai main jhut nahi kah raha meri baat ka vishvas kijie sir mere 2 bacche hai aur main apne bacchon ki kasam khata houn baat 100 % pakki hai aur inki baijati karte huai le jain

                                        Firstly I would like to state that I have purchased a house from Mr. Sukhbir C.A. No. [protected] in favour of my wife Smt. Rajkumari Sharma. In the previous period I could not deposit my electric dues, so connection has been discontinued by NDPL. Now, today I have deposited all the dues and I got re-connection of electricity in my house.
