[Resolved]  Net Express Broadband — Worst Internet Service Provider EVER !!!

I recently moved to Velachery, AGS Colony. In my new Apartment there was a joint decision to get the Centrex service for phones and broadband service. We were approached by many including the fraudulent company "NetExpress". Finally after much deliberation we decided to settle on a reputed ISP but we were informed that will take few months to get it all installed in our premises. The reason the NetExpress was rejected was they were not able to provide any proper documentation for their service or licence even; they don't even have a website. Until the Centrex was setup and due to feasibility issue many opted for NetExpress as a temporary solution including me. I was approached by the sales person Ravi making his false claim about how good the service is, so I opted for a 1Mbps plan just to see how good their service is. I was charged around Rs 1, 500/- for modem, installation, and first months rental. I was promised that I will receive a call from the Technical Team and the service will be activated immediately the next day. No one contacted for the next two days, I called the Sales person Ravi; his number was unanswered for a day. When he answered my call the next day I reminded him of the service activation. He then managed to finally send a untrained group of people to install the cable. They just brought in the cable through the conduit provided for the AC copper wire and laid the wire in the middle of the bedroom across the entire length of the room. When I told them not to do it that way, the installation guy said now he doesn't have proper tools for making proper connection so he will come the next day to make the cable more organized. I trusted him and let him go. Next day again making several calls to the sales person he finally managed to send a Technical guy who obviously had no clue what he is doing and was on call with his seniors all the time asking for guidance. Finally after he managed to get the connection, I reminded him to correct the lengthy cable running across the floor. He said he will send the installation guy after he leaves. They never came even after constant reminders for weeks that followed. The Internet connection was good actually for a week, then came constant disconnections and many hours o[censored]navailability of Internet per day. After many phone calls they managed to fix it after a week. It was working better for the rest of the month. After about three weeks I was furious about cable which was on the floor. I called the customer care number which they never answer, To my luck I finally managed to get in contact with the area in-charge Anand. He came two days later and apologized for every trouble caused and fixed the cable issue. His words were so convincing and gave me his number to contact him if I run into any problem in the future. I was happy with that response. Then came the month two, I got a call from NetExpress customer care to recharge my account to continue to use their service. I decided to upgrade to 2Mbps (Rs 1, 010/month). Afer receiving the payment and after my current subscription got expired the Internet went down. I was waiting for them to update the service which never happened. At around 8PM I called the customer care and reminded to recharge my service. After the Internet was working as normal with speed upto 240kbps but with frequent disconnections and down time for hours in a day. Then came the worst part around 28th April 2014 my Internet speed dropped from 240kbps to barely 10kbps. The video streaming was worst and the downloads timed out. After many calls to Anand he managed to sent the same guy who came in for the getting my connection up on day one of the service. The attitude of that guy was bigger than him. He seems to think the customers are always wrong and NetExpress is always right. He did some mumbo jumbo but nothing was fixed he left without any clue what he had done but promptly told me he would update me on the status of the issue, which he never did until now. Then again after repeated calls to unanswered customer care numbers and to Anand's number; finally he answered the call but he accidentally forgot about me. I had to give him long intro about me to buf[censored]p his memory. He then promised to fix the bandwidth issue as early as possible but nothing was done so far. Now again my calls are going unanswered with no reply from whomsoever. I paid for 2Mbps but the speed is like a 64Kbps subscription now. MY VERDICT IS, THIS NETEXPRESS BROADBAND SERIVCE IS A FRAUD TO THE CORE. JUST LIKE ME YOU MIGHT GET ATTRACTED FOR THE PRICE BUT FOR THAT CHEAP PRICE YOU'LL GET NOTHING BUT DISAPOINTMENT AND CONSTANT IRRITATION THE WAY THEY ANSWER YOUR QUERIES. I will be disconnecting their service after this month, Stay away from these frauds if possible. By the way the issue I mentioned not only affected me but my entire Apartment complex. Still frauds at NetExpress claim their service has no issues. What a bunch of low life leaches.
