Unfortunately I took the connection and realized that I dug a hole and jumped into it. Just thinking if I can file a case for fraud against them. The number mentioned on their website doesn't get picked by anyone. The email address bounces back. Planning to go to their office and retrieve my money. If not then Police station is my next destination. I told them to come and take the modem back and refund the money, but no one even responded.
