Nextra Teleservices — Nextra Teleservices refusing to refund security deposit eve after two years of disconnection of service

Dear Sir/ Madam,

This is with reference to my nextra connection with cust Id 2113346 in Gurgaon, which was disconnected in September 2018. For four months after the disconnection of service, I called the nextra helpline numerous times to process my refund for the same, only to be given a new service request no. every time and being told that someone would call me back from Nextra, there was no call back and the service request nos. were closed by Nextra without my refund being processed.

It has been 2 years and my refund for security deposit of Rs. 1000 is still pending, . I shared my bank details with the support team over email on 31st Jan and have even written to the customer service and operations head Vaibhav Kaushal.
Nextra team isrefusing to pay the refund saying it is for the modem. I have informed them several times that they never issued me a modem/router and instead Betaab, the Nextra engineer who did the installation advised me to get my own. I was told at the time of installation by both the engineer Betaab and the sales exec Sandeep that security deposit is mandatory and refundable. I even called the nextra customer Helpline to check and they confirmed the same. Then they refuse to refund with the alibi that it can only be refunded if I can give them the deposit receipt from over 6 years ago. I didn’t receive anything at the time of installation from their executive. He told me the deposit will show in my account and it does. My account shows in their records that I deposited Rs.1000 towards security.

It is shocking to see that the nextra team wants to create all possible imaginary and unfair reasons to not refund my money even after two years of the connection being disconnected, and not one to legally refund the my security deposit which is due for refund for over two years now.

Requesting your help to pls. help expedite the refund.

There is immense mental trauma and harassment that has been caused to me by Nextra while following up with them for two years for a simple refund of security deposit which is rightfully and legally due to me, and was earlier delayed and is now being fraudulently denied stating excuses.

I was fraudulently charged security deposit by nextra engineer when I took no router from them, and on checking with the nextra sales person sandeep and the online support team, I was told it is mandatory to pay security deposit. The Nextra team started with blaming me recently me for paying the refund, and then to deny refund, continues to harass and ask for a receipt for security deposit which I have clearly stated was not received, as I was told at the time of installation that the deposit would reflect in my account and it does. I has checked with the support team back then, and recently again and they confirmed that a security deposit of Rs.1000 reflects in my account. Despite this, the nextra team with malafide intentions denies that it exists, and denies the refund by asking me to prove with a receipt that I paid.

Nextra doesnt check its own processes and systems, and it seems there is no validation or verification of what their teams follow on the ground, because a failure to provide receipts for security deposit, and the fact that they should not have taken a refund from me, is a failure and indicates no checks and balances at their end.

Further, to make excuses and deny my refund on the security deposit, Nextra shared with me a CRF form with incorrect details about me and forging my signatures claiming it to be filled by me at the time of installation of the said broadband connection. It is appalling to see them indulge in such fraudulent practices such as forging my signatures and sharing a fake form to deny the refund of security deposit due to me.
