NIIT Complaints & Reviews

Dear All,

I had enrolled for the learning Tally 9.0. At the time of enrollment the Counsellors at Churchgate Branch told us the Batch would be conducted on Mon -Wed -Fri from 1.30pm - 3.30pm (2hrs). The duration for this was 1.5mnths. Our batch started on 28th Oct 2009.

Following was actually offered to us:
Firstly Classses have been conducted on Mon & Wed only.

Secondly now the classes have already been declared over. That is classes have been conducted only from 28 Sept 2009 to 28 Oct 2009 i.e 1mnth only. In between this one mnth there have been only 10 lectures conducted out of which 5 times the professor hasnt come.. In the 5 lectures that have taken place 2 were merely a revision of Microsoft Office.

CAN YOU KINDLY EXPLAIN THE FACT THAT HOW CAN ANY PROFESSOR TEACH TALLY IN 3 LECTURES........???????

IF AT ALL ONE CAN WHICH STUDENT WILL UNDERSTAND?

OUR ENTIRE BATCH IS VERY HARASSED BY THE PROFESSOR (SIDDIQUE SIR) AS WELL AS THE ENTIRE MANAGEMENT OF NIIT (MUMBAI - CHURCHGATE)

WE HAVE APPROACHED THE CENTRE HEAD (POOJA) TWICE..........
ALL OF THE MANAGEMENT.. THERE TALK TO US VERY RUDELY.....

IT SEEMS VERY CLEAR:
THAT WHEN A STUDENT APPROACHES NIIT ALL OF THE COUNSELLORS TALK TO US VERY POLITELY & NICELY TO MAKE MONEY. ONCE WE DEPOSIT THE MONEY NO ONE IS INTERESTED IN DELIVERY ANY SERVICE/QUALITY WATSOEVER.

THE CENTRE HEAD, THE MANAGEMENT, THE PROFESSOR EVERYONE HAS TURNED A DEAF YEAR TO OUR CONCERNS..............

KINDLY DO SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I SINCERELY REQUEST YOU TO ADDRESS OUR ISSUES AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
THIS IS BECAUSE WE HAVENT BEEN TAUGHT TALLY AT ALL BY ANYONE..

I HOPE THAT SOME AUTORITATIVE PERSON WOULD LOOK INTO THE MATTER & TAKE SOME SERIOUS ACTION...... BECAUSE WE HAVE BEEN SAID THE BATCH IS OVER BY THE MANAGEMENT (WEREAS IT WAS NEVER STARTED AT ALL)

Dear Service Desk,

I have done my IT course in NIIT (IT crossing ,Lucknow ) in the year of 2001 to 2003
that time i have deposited the money for CIT course approx (27 to 28 the thousand) but some major cause i have not complete the same only i have done my ITcource in NIIT (i have done my Exams and the result was i m passed)
after some time the NIIT centre (IT crossing,lucknow) was closed
till date i m not received any certificate also extra money which ihave deposit against the CIT course also i tried the same servel time but every time i was hopeless

Right now i have misplaced my all fees reciept & all papers which i have deposited in NIIT only i have some books (provided of NIIT )

pls help realy i m very hopeless!!!

Being an authorised Vue testcenter NIIT conducting Malpractice in cisco exams since bigen of test services.We have so meny friends those who done this exams from Niit by paing 5 to 6 thousends more on CCNA exam fee ,2 to 3 thousands on other exam fee to clear thair exams.We dont dont know why pearson Vue and cisco ignoring and encorising such Centers.Being a CLP why NIIT doing such [censored] exams.Why Cisco and Pearson are fail to doing their Secret shopper on this center .CISCO and pearsons responsibulity to improve thair quality of services Immediatly.

I am a student of NIIT and is wholly DISAPPOINTED from NIIT. I am a student of niit southex studying in sem D. I got transfer from karnal in mid sem 2 and i took admission in niit at
karnal centre in july 2007. At that time i got scholarship of 15000/-
on basis of my 12th percentage(77.6%). When my niit student id ask me
to fill the details for scholarship and to upload dmc it did not get
uploaded.I told problem to my centre head at karnal but he did not
took any step to solve my problem. Later on i got transfer to niit
south-ex centre, initially my id was not working due to transfer and
later when i try to get my scholarship but all in vain. Here also i
told my problem to faculty and he told me that my first voucher should
be accesed from niit karnal.Now none of centre is helping me to get
my scholarship both are blaming each other.

As i took admission at south ex during mid sem and i already paid my full fee for 2nd sem at niit karnal after that i have to pay my tuition fee again at south ex center for 2nd sem after MT1. when i asked niit karnal head that they have to refund me tuition fee after MT1 they deny.
Now none of centre is helping me to get
my scholarship both are blaming each other.

The faculties of NIIT are fraud, they are just interested students money.We can say that all staffs are bastureds and beaches.

I took admission in Niit, Rajouri Garden, New Delhi for A+ and N+ course on 19th feb, 2010. I want to do these courses in just 1 month. First of all, before depositing the fees, they told me that your course will be starting on 1st March, 10. We will be doing A+ in first 15 days and then N+ in rest 15 days and when I deposited the fees, next day I got a call from Niit saying that your course will not able to start from 1st because on 1st it is a Holiday in occasion of Holi, so it will be starting from 3rd. When i called on 2nd march to ask the timing for the course, they told me that you dont have a class tommorow, it'll be starting from 4th. When i called on 3rd to ask the timing for 4th march, then they replied that the faculty is not well so we'll be starting your course on 7th.

Mam, i came from UK, I got only 1 month, am having my flight on 31st March, 10 to return to UK. And my course isn't started yet. Earlier also I have done C++ Programming course from NIIT, at that time also I faced so many problems.

Please help me out mam, as it is very urgent. Seriously NIIT is getting worst day-by-day.

Hi to all,
those who want to join NIIT Jaynagar for CCNA training please dont join, the worst place to learn CCNA in NIIT, 1st thing they were never in to CCNA Training and they dont have a single Routers/Switches
if you still think about placement and join NIIT its all rubbish,
The Counsellor Bhumi shows you all the records and all those things regarding placements but actually they have not placed a single guy from CCNA, So please if you really want to learn CCNA join some where else other than NIIT
they say they provide 100% placement assistance,its all .
The Centre Head Bijoy Das is the Worst of All, he just promises students for the placements and does nothing, he is just a good for nothing a-hole

I'm Ayush, B.E.(Mech); I have registered for the course of C# at NIIT Jaipur on 21.09.09 and deposited the fees of Rs.3000/-(Fees receipt no. 286) for the first installment and they told the course will start within a week duration but days have passed and I called them on[protected] and ask for the stating of course 2 to 3 times but they said soon they w'll be starting but due to delay of course I filed an application in october 2009 for the refund of fees and I'm contacting them since 6 months and one of the other person calls from[protected] and [protected] I talked to their branch manager, operation manager but one or the other way they are creating a fuss and are not refunding fees till now, I'm calling since 6 months and went to their office several times but they are not refunding the fees.
Kindly see to it and resolve the issue so that in future no student can be duped by them.

If you have log of extra money and want to do masti only then choose NIIT.
That is not an education center that a center where people are sitting to grab ur money.
They will say Yes to everything till they get money once they get it u r on ur own.

- No good teaching
- No batch change faclitity, i[censored] miss some classes u r gone u will have to wait for a year to joing another batch
- NOT AT ALL GOOD FOR WORKING PEOPLE. I am working from past 5 years and i thougth NIIT is a good brand so i joined but i found other institutes who charge almost 1/4th of NIIT are better than them.
- NO REFUND I[censored] GIVE MONEY ONCE.


BEWARE OF NIIT. SEARCH GOOGLE "NIIT COMPLAINTS" U WILL KNOW I AM RIGHT OR NIIT IS RIGHT. THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF COMPLAINT.

Dont suggest NIIT to anyone. Save ur friends and known peoples carrer by passing this information.

i have enroll my self for ICSI course, Reg No[protected]/07/2009 in Ambala Cantt center on 18 Aug 2009 and appeared for the exam on 1 Oct 2009. Till now i have not received my certificate. as the urgent of matter i have to submit my examination form to appear for my ICSI exams, which will be held on June 2010. inspite of several reminders through phone, emails and personal visits to their center i have not received my certificate till now. they told me on 15 feb 2010 that it has been delivered to courier and will be receiving it by 20th Feb 2010 for sure. but upon calling them back on 22 feb 2010, they have no answer to say except blaming the courier guys. i have to submitt my examination for soon befor 25 march 2010 so to become eligible to appear for the exam.


Kindly consider it as an urgent piece of matter. i am hope less on these NIIT people.

Guys I have read all the NIIT complaints. I am at chinchwad pune center.
Looking at these people i can say one things " Yeh Log sudharne wale nahi hai "

I can see common concerns from crowd.
1) Classes not at right time.
2) Before you give fees everything is possible, after u pay nothing is possible. If you change the batch u have to wait ages.
3) If classes dont start and you ask for refund you have to stand in queue and you never get your fees.
4) Bad attitude
5) No good teaching.
6) Center head also not reponding rightly.


Lets all get together and form a group. Send an email to me by and leave your contact details.
Lets form a group and get all proofs collected and lets file a compliant in police station.

Hi dear friends who have joined NIIT dharamshala....I want to share my story how i joined NIIT dharamshala and wat NIIT did with me....I came to NIIT Dharamshala with full enthusiasm in march 2008.I joined C#.Net shart term course.For first one month i was given full attention.i also studied hard.i have done B.Tech. in Computer science.I topped in BJS exam in dharamshala and got 100% placement for DIT.I started doing that course.I again topped in NITAT 2009.But soon gloomy side of NIIT started growing before me.When it came to placement.
They have done nothing related to placements of students.
They are also getting more fees for courses like GNIIT as compared to NIIT Delhi.
Their PC's are in miserable state.
They are appointing 2nd year students as faculty members to teach GNIIT students.
They often tell lies to students who come to NIIT for counselling about fake placements.
I have not got free books of BJS 2008.
They are making name of this prestigious name NIIT a HELL..
I have not go any placement althogh i have got full technical knowledge.....
So i request all students to become aware of functioning of NIIT and care about their futures as ur parents are spending so much amount on u.How they earn this amount you know well.So be aware of NIIT...And do something unitely to hinder NIIT from doing such false acts.Also be aware Mr. Dinesh ..Otherwise ur NIIT Dharamshala will totally be abolished......

I respect name NIIT.But dharamshala has turned this barand name NIIT into real nightmare..........
please take attention otherwise all the middle class and poor class families will be cheated by niit dharamshala

We two, Iyswarya Lakshmi and Suchitra S Nair joined for a core JAVA course at NIIT palghat center dated 26th May 2008 and paid an amount of Rs 6685-. We completed our classes there and did our online examination on 2nd January 2009 and passed in the same. We are not issued with our certificates till now. When we inquired there, they said their management changed and there is some difficulty for issuing that certificate.We waited for a long time. But now the director there said that they don't have any proof that we had an exam there and misbehaved so badly and said bad words with out considering that we two are girls. Kindly take necessary actions. We are attaching our registration details here.

I had joined NIIT,Trichy,Tamilnadu for DJVT course.I had given the exam on december 1,2009.I was informed within 15days i would be getting my certificate.I had also paid for SCJP voucher in the month of september.Till date i have not received the voucher and certificate.The officials are not ersponding properly.I had also contacted CGRSHO,but there has been no response from them.

This is regarding fees structure issue of student pursuing GNIIT course from NIIT Shimla.
We were advised of scholarship discount of Rs. 10,000 before taking admission but now they are not fulfilling there commitment .

I have been chasing various authoities at NIIT from centre head, [protected]@niit.com , CGRSHO, Manager – Student Relationship to Regional Delivery & IS Manager however they have only one answer "We have escalated this to higher department and it will take some more time”.

This case is pending from last four months, first three months with Centre head-NIIT Shimla and one month with [protected]@niit.com , CGRSHO, Manager – Student Relationship & Regional Delivery & IS Manager.

Student's career is at stake because they are not even allowing her to attempt exams and take transfer out of state for next semester studies.

Please help & advise.

I am one of the people who are suffering because of your incompetent franchisees, where people don’t learn but suffer & are being cheated continuously.
My biggest mistake in my career was to join an NIIT centre for DJVT (Diploma in JAVA Technology) course with Placement assistance. Which NIIT claim of 99 days to complete:-
1. Java Core
2. Java Advanced
3. Java designing tools
4. Oracle 9i Database. Etc etc etc.
But it has been more than 4 months already, and they have not been able to complete the Java Core also.
Only things which I am experiencing consistently are:
1. Regular Faculty changes
2. Revision of the ABC they have taught us about Java, which every Faculty starts with.
3. Authors of Books, which should be used as reference.
4. Timing Changes.
5. And most Consistent is HOLIDAYS, Because Faculties are not available.
I am forwarding one of the mails sent by one of the Faculty of NIIT SOUTH Extension which validates the kind of assistance, a Student can expect from NIIT as a TOP EDUCATIONAL BRAND.
I have already filed a complaint against NIIT in Consumer Forum, and would suggest the same to all the people who are suffering the same, which I am sure are in big numbers Because I can see a good number of dissatisfied students in just one centre.

Best part of everything is NIIT does not have any email or contact mentioned for such kind of complaints redressal.

Hi Plz refer the no.of emails sent to NIIT which are all unattended till today right from the date of my 1st email to NIIT in Dec 2008.

DEAR ALL,
This is to say that I, Huseni.K.Ratlamwala had taken admission in your esteemed institute’s Ghatkopar branch in Mumbai for Diploma in IT course in June 2006, the tenure of the course was supposed to be of 1 year & the fees for the same was RS 44000/- (inclusive of the taxes). I paid it in 12 installments in 12 consecutive months without any delay in the PMT every month despite of the completion of 1st semester which took around 1 year. During this 1 year’s time I received the complete courseware components of DIT.
I also wanted to upgrade my course to GNIIT after completing DIT for which I also paid upgrade fees of RS 561/- on 15.05.07 as I was advised to do so by Pratima (in the center) on phone at around 7.00pm on same day so that I need not pay the inflated fees which would be levied on from 16.05.07. This amt was paid by me late in the evening at around 8.00-8.30pm so I did not receive the computerised reciept that time as the accountant(Tushar) had left for the day, I only received a hand reciept & was told to collect the computerised reciept on the next day from Tushar that would complete the upgradation process. But when contacted Tushar on next day he told he was busy with his work & would do it later & need not worry about the upgradation as it would happen without any problem. I took his words & kept in touch with him after every 7-8 days for the reciept, but got the same answer that he was busy & not yet done the work. Finally after 2 months I was told that the upgradation was done but only for the 4 semesters & not for the last 2 semesters (of PROFESSIONAL PRACTISE), the reason I was told was – “ their might be some age problem i.e. your age must be crossing 25 yrs by the time you complete your GNIIT course & you need not pay for the PROFESSIONAL PRACTISE.”
My question is when I m not eligible for PROFESSIONAL PRACTISE which provides us an idea of the Corporates way of working & their requirements & also a JOB GUARANTEE then why do I pay for only academical 4 semesters which gives me only the academical knowledge which stands nowhere in today’s world full of I T Professionals.
I also had to pull myself back from completing the 2nd semester last year of which I attended 2- 4 lectures last year because I am a working man & was also doing the studies & could not afford to miss the lifetime opportunity of getting upgraded in my co where I was working as a field executive since last 6 years to a Collection Manager what I am now just because the course was yet to be completed in NIIT. I went to NIIT Ghatkopar centre 7-8 months back & met the Centre Head of that time (Mrs Kadambari) for quitting NIIT & getting the refund of my tuition fees of 2nd semester but for my disappointment I was told that the fees cannot be refunded because I had attended 2-4 lectures of the 2nd semester. This is completely unacceptable that the delay of 7 months in the completion of 1st semester can be accepted by the student but the institute cannot accept the student’s position & give the refund. Secondly for my surprise when I sat on the PC in my office & started working on MS Excel I felt that whatever I studied in NIIT regarding excel was completely insufficient & does not stand enough in today’s demanding situation.
Lastly but not the least if a student makes a delay in paying 1 month’s fees he is charged late fees charges so I kept paying fees on time despite being the 1st semester not being completed on time, the situation which I went thru make me feel that this was the mistake I made of paying the 2nd semester’s fees also in advance. If wanted I can provide all the PMT reciepts available with me for your review.

Hello Guys,

This is not a complaint.

Just explaining my experience.

I was a student of NIIT Ottapalam for GNIIT course.

At the time of joining they offered 100% placements in top IT companies. And after the completion of the 3rd semester, as a procedure, i came to bangalore for 4th sem. And here i came to know, they wont give any placements and if it happned also, they are giving only BPO jobs, that you can achieve even if you are a graduate.

And also there was some complimentor books from Microsoft as a part of our course and i already paid for that. But the institute authorities was not ready to give me that books. They were telling that was only for the student who enrolled in a particular period. If it is like that also, i was eligible for that. Becoz, my classmates got the same. I strongly believ that they are doing some other business on this. Of course they are doing this as a business. And finally i called the centre head, and he was shouting on me saying that - we dnt have time to speak with you.

It's a warning for students who are planning to do couses in big institutions like NIIT. They have only brand names. No quality. They have only offers. No credibilitti. They are only looking for business.

Please think twice before you joining in NIIT. Because, you are simply wasting your money.
