The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation has finally rectified the website for an efficient online bill payments. I congratulate them for the same.
HOWEVER, I REGRET TO SAY THAT EVEN NOW A BIG FLAW REMAINS TO BE SORTED OUT. IT IS THAT THE BILL RECEIPT DISPLAYS TO "DATE" ! THIS IS NOT AT ALL FAIR AS A RECEIPT THAT DOES NOT DISPLAY A DATE (OR ANY OTHER DETAIL THAT INDICATES THE DATE/TIME OF PAYMENT), DOES NOT MAKE SENSE.

It is surprising that Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation is not having helpline for:

i) Municipal services like garbage collection etc.

ii) Public Information Officers contact list with telephone No., email address, fax etc. in the website....

The contractor of NMMC garbage collection entrusted with the collection of garbage from Kendriya Vihar, Sector 38, Nerul (West) Navi Mumbai is not collecting the garbages on a daily basis. For example the garbage truck did not come on 8.01.2011. The vehicle comes only after a gap of 2 or more days. As a result the garbage piles up considerably and thus poses risk to health and life of the residents. This has been happening for the last...

We have mail boxes but they are not delivered in mail boxes. If we are lucky we will find them lying around it. For example Bill was dated somewhere in middle of november 2010, but I received it after 1st of January 2011; so I missed first due date of 30/11/2010. if I had paid before or before 30/11/2010, amount would have been Rs 2848, but now I will have to pay Rs. 2905 if I pay it before 30/01/2011. The online bill payment website is disgustingly poor. This site operates once in many attempts and functions likewise!
Can the top official be made known of this problem on an urgent basis? If tackled this will only result in a faster payment of bills by the consumers. This will be good for both the provider and the consumer!

THIS COMPLAINT RELATES TO THE CITY "NAVI MUMBAI" THAT IS NOT LISTED IN YOUR WEBSITE.
For a long time NMMC has had a website designed to accept on line payments for Water charges and Property tax. Unfortunately, this site is extremely unfriendly and frequently dysfunctional and cause inconvenience to the consumers.
The irony is that if the site functions efficiently, it will benefit NMMC a lot more than there clients!...

This is to inform to the concerned authorities to take note of this GROWING ATTITUDE of IV class employees of NMMC going door-to-door asking for money after Diwali,Holi etc.And that too some claiming to be sweeper(coming at one time)and others claiming to be garbage collectors at a different time.
