I HAVE PURCHASED NOKIA 5130 EXPRESS MUSIC MOBILE SET ON 21.12.2009 FROM LIMTON PVT LTD, A NOKIA PRIORITY DEALER AT 13 & 14, B B D BAG (E) KOLKATA 700001 .TODAY 2nd FEB AT 9 PM I RECEIVED A MESSAGE FROM MY SERVICE PROVIDER (AIRTEL) STATING THAT "AS PER GOVT DIRECTIONS, YOUR HANDSET HAS AN INVALID IMEI AND WILL BE BLOCKED IN NEXT 24 HRS . TO CONTINUE USING THIS NUMBER, USE YOUR SIM CARD ON A VALID IMEI HANDSET " . IN THIS CONNECTION I HAVE TO STATE AS UNDER :

[1] Registration of valid IMEI no. is the responsibility of NOKIA
and customer is only suppose to use it hassle free.

[2] Why should I suffer for the IMEI number now stated to be invalid by Airtel.Plese note that I have paid
for the product which is inclusive of all the features along with valid IMEI NO .

[3] Please solve my problem immediately and ensure that my handset is not blocked by AIRTEL due to invalid IMEI no .

Invalid Imei No — invalid imei no

hi,i bought fly mobile on january of this year,suddenly i got message from reliance prepaid care that my handset has invalid imei no.

Iahve also bought Fly E106 dual SIM . & same i got message from reliance prepaid that my handset was having invalid IMEI no ..

Kindly suggest us wht next we hav e to do...
By Fly Set It also having an invalid IMEI No . A good company has to resolve the issue immediatly

Nokia — IMEI provided is invalid

As per Gov Of India, TRI initiative, all operators are going to ban mobiles having invalid IMEI.

I have recieved several message from AIRTEL (my mobile service provider) about my handset being detected as having invalid IMEI.

First of all, I thought, Its AIRTEL's problem. But I tested my handset with other operators too. All of them informed me that my handset has invalid IMEI.

I have followed following ways to confirm this.
1) SMS to 53232 - IMEI xxxxxxxxxxxx
Reply- Not Valid IMEI

2) Original site issuing IMEI.

This site informed me that I have invalid IMEI.

Clause:
Nokia has sold me the handset with Invalid IMEI.

nokia5130c — FM radio frequency not clear

i have given my set to gupta associates nokia care center vaishali gzb 4 months earlier .My set has problem in its FM radio.Then it worked for 1 month only and again same problem started.then again i gave it to same service center.then it worked again for only 2 months,same problem started again.Then i gave it again on 20th june 2010,they told me that they will send it to company.I recieved it on 2nd july 2010.i checked it and found that its FM was clear but speaker volume was bursting,body was broken,maybe my set was changed then i gave it again in the same service center....they are telling they will send it to company again...i requested to the company that my set should be replaced by the new one...i got frustated by all this my IMEI no is [protected].MY CONTACT NO IS [protected]

    Hi,

    I have been using Mobile phones from last 10 years.

    I had bought Nokia 5800 Xpress Music in October 2009 Bill No. – 6620 dated 29.10.2009.From Electronic Ways – Nokia Priority dealer Rajouri Garden New Delhi - 110027
    . The Mobile started hanging within 1 month o[censored]sage. I went to Nokia Showroom and they were making Lame excuses & they told me that I must be using Phone Memory instead of Memory Card but still the problem is there in handset I want to ask the NOKIA Top Management that who has given them right to sell Sub- Standard products in India. Please remember it is the same company Nokia who had recalled faulty batteries from Market or some companies recalling Laptops & even cars due to manufacturing defect.

    I would like to warn all people who want to buy NOKIA Phones that please do not buy the same as this is them most Pathetic Mobile Phone available in Market .

    nokia xpress music 5800 — against nokia customer care at shimla the mall branch

    dear sir,
    my name is a s jamwal, i hv buyed nokia xpressmusic 5800. from jhansi. my ear ice was not working thats why i visit nokia customer care centre at shimla the mall. they told me that new virsin has come and mobile needs to be upgraded, i gave my mobile there for upgradation. on delivery they gave my mobile, the problem was solved but, the body cover screw was loose i told then to tight the screw but they have silly excuses that the body remains loose that much i told them that when i buyed the mobile that time mobile body was fully tight but they told that they have no word less, no idea. please take neccessary action against the customer care centre.

    NOKIA XPRESS MUSIC — memory card disconnecting

    i am using above phone from last may 09. offently mc disconnecting it self. to make it normal has to remove the card back and inset again.

    Nokia/Nokia 5800 XM — Bad service

    Dear Sir,

    I am really frustrated with the nokia service, especially nokia service center, sector-2 noida. I purchased Nokia 5800 XM and the EMIE no - [protected] in Feb 2009. But the handset not perform good, Vibration not working, phone get hang and restart charger pin not working. I submitted it to the center and they told me that it will go to L3 because its new launched handset and you will get it back after 15 days. After 15 day I receive my handset but the issue is same, again I submit the set. They submitted the handset 5 times for L3. Some time for 15 day or 20 day but didn't receive any proper solution. When last time I receive the handset it display screen is cracked and charging is not working. Now again I submitted the handset on 1st Sept (Job Sheet no[protected]/090901/20)and had word will Delhi Regional head and also branch head regarding it and sms me that you will get a replacement for this handset. On 23rd sept I receive call from the Regional head that collect your replacement handset. When I reach the service center they provide me old handset and told that this is new one. The Version of handset is RED but the firmware in handset is Blue. and they are saying that this is new brand set, and it’s repaired set of L3 as the handset have L3 repaired sticker. I didn't receive the set. Now I m calling Mr. Shailander ([protected]) (Regional Head, Delhi NCR) but he is not picking my call and even not replying on my sms.

    Please help me to put complaint to nokia and get me my handset back beacuse from last 4-5 month i facing thsi issue, waiting for your reply

    nokia xpress music 5800 — Faulty mobile handset supplied by Nokia India

    Hi,
    I purchased Nokia Xpress Music 5800 mobile phone on 22nd Feb 2009 for a Nokia dealer located at F.C Road, Pune, Maharashtra, India. I paid 19,000 Rs to the dealer and bought with warranty of 1 year.

    Ever since I purchased mobile, it has given problem and hasn't worked perfectly for a long duration. Everytime it gave me new problem.
    1. Sometime touch screen doesn't work
    2. Battery's performence is not optimum as promised by Nokia. Batter was already replaced once but again it gave lower results.
    3. Sometime mobile gets restarted on its own and says that Sim card registration failed and it fails to detect sim card. while the same sim card works perfectly fine in other mobile.
    4. I can't load more songs in mobile as it starts getting hange.

    Even now, my cell is in nokia care for more than 1.5 months. I am not able to use my cell. It was given to Nokia Care for atleast 6-7 times. I really want replacement or my full money now.

    I am really fed up of the mobile handset and requeted Nokia India to replace this faulty device passed to me. They said that they won't replace as of now and my warranty period is getting expred soon. After Feb, they won't entertain me as warranty period is getting over.

    Kindly consider my request and please process it on priority basis as my warranty period is about to lapse.

    Nokia 5800 X press Music Mobile — Non Delivery of product

    Hi,

    I am very sorry to say that you are irresponsible in customer satisfaction. I have done a online purchase for Nokia 5800 tube Xpress phone through Credit card in 6 EMI, first EMI will be processed on 3rd of AUG but till now i havent received the product. The status shows as it has been delivered on 21 July, but till now I don’t have any update on this, either I don’t have the chance of cancellation, since couple of days when I call the call centre to find out the status, they repeat the same “ as it will get delivered in 2 days an its coming form UAE” bull , even if the do a normal courier it will reach India with in 5 to 6 days, its almost 11 days now(Aug 02, 2010), and there is no response either from India shopping times or from courier, today when call they say that for cancellation it requires 48hrs, it’s a shame on our part that we do give this type of customer service to our own Indians, that to from India shopping.

    Nokia Mobile — NokiA 5800XM

    Dear Sir,


    I would like to make a complain against your company regarding my cell phone Nokia 5800Xm (Covered under warranty). Sir i am using nokia sets for last 11 years and always like nokia services. I was having a problem with my slide switch and i went to the nokia service center for repair. I was given an answer at that time that your phone will be ready next day. next day i recieved an sms that my phone is ready and i should pick it up. when i went they told me its still under repair and u wl get a sms when it will be ready.
    Next day i recieved a sms that my phone is ready. Despite of busy schedule due to my office hours plus Ramadan/ EID celebrations when i reached thier they told me its not fixed bcoz they found some liquid inside. i have asked them how after 3 days they came to know about liquid may be they wanted me to buy a new mobile. I asked for complain letter but they refused to give me. Is that way you are treating your customer . I am really fedup with nokia and definetely will not used it in future specially if i stay in Qatar. My last hope is to send a request to you directly so you can take remedial action against.

    I will wait for your positive reply.

      I have given the mobile for repair at Nokia Service Centre Gariahat Branch Kolkata of Nokia Care,as network is not working in the mobile but they returned it and told that 'it cannot repair in this service centre' and when I requested them to send it to their company for repair but they refuged. When I wanted to submit complain letter but the manger of the service centre did not accept the complain letter then I droped it in the complaint box at there on[protected] but there is no reply in this regard is received till date.

        Hello this is Jitendra Jain I'm hereby writing this letter to make you aware that how non-technical and non-cooperative (i.e. engineer) are your staff at Nokia Priority Dealer (Mahalaxmi Telecom - Dulhan Park,Shop No. B/5 Phatak Road,Geeta Nagar ,Bhayander (West) behaving to customer.

        I have been planning to purchase E72 and in this regard, visited their Priority dealership. Initially they were all OK with explaining the brief features, etc.

        However, i got a better deal on this handset somewhere else, so i did not purchased it from Mahalaxmi dealer.

        I was totally shocked and surprised when i went with my new E72 to this Mahalaxmi Priority dealership to understand some features of this mobile, they bluntly refused to co-operate and clearly said they since you have not purchased it from us, we will neither explain mobile features (which is clearly against the Nokia's Company's Policy - Have checked myself with Nokia). To add further, there are some softwares/applications which enhances the mobile productivity, they bluntly refused to even downland that on my phone.

        I very sad and upset to know that Nokia with such a big brand worldwide and known for customer friendly policies, have such Priority dealers who don't even know how to talk to customers and co-operate with them.

        They have not lost only one customer in me, but many other potential customers which i was suppose to recommend.

        I request Nokia officials to take this matter seriously and ensure their brand image does not deteriorate any further.

        Nokia — Horrible company policy

        I had purchased Nokia 6275 CDMA handset in Nov 08 whose display is lost on 26 July 09. When contacted Nokia service center, i was told that this handset was manufactured by Nokia in early 2008 and warranty is lapsed.As a customer my warranty is intact if i calculate from my purchase date. This is real frustrating and annoying. Practically, if we go by company policy, i have purchased a handset which does not have a warranty

        How can a company of repute like NOKIA dare do this?? They should not sell out of warranty handsets to customers and cheat them
        I fully agree with this type of complain.They are sweet untill you make the purchase and after that you are PERFECT STRANGERS.THANK YOU.

        Nokia — non co-operative and bad behaviour

        Hi Team,

        It’s really painful to writing you this time, I am a loyal customer of Nokia from past 10 years. I am the one who purchased three handsets in past 40 Days from Nokia (one E 71 and two Nokia 2690) for my family.

        I visited Nokia Priority Dealer (KEM Road, Bikaner, Rajasthan) on 23 Aug 2010 to buy a handset, but your executives don’t have etiquettes and very non co-operative with me, they are not bother about Nokia’s Image. They do not know how to behave with a customer (using very abusing language) which hurts me a lot.

        It’s very sad to inform that I was an evangelist for Nokia brand but due to this one treatment that I have received from these people whose very attitude mars the entire brand image of Nokia. It is very obvious that my association with Nokia has been a PLIGHT and I have nothing but only Bad word of mouth to share with my friends and associates due to this behavior.

        Nokia has the image in my mind of being a trustworthy friend. It has been with me since last 10 years being my 1st phone indeed. I have always suggested it to my friends and loved ones.
        The only intention for this mail to inform you about this activity.

        I had a similar experience with Nokia Priority Dealer, Udumalpet, TamilNadu. I went to the showroom to pruchase a c1-01 handset. They said that the price was Rs.2400/- I asked them, in nokia.co.in its mentioned as Rs.2259/- He said that it doesn't include tax. I said they have given it as MRP. After that, he asked one of the boys in the shop to check for SMS and they decided to give me for Rs.2259/- Even they are not aware of the prices. I kindly request Nokia officials to take proper steps and make their employees customer friendly as your handset and aware of the prices.

          Dear Sir,
          i am facing a terible problem with my Nokia 2700 classic which i had bought from a leading mobile shoppee in Durgapur. The problem is that my mobile's speaker is not working properly.whenever i am going to play the mp3 song via my mobile speaker its got cracked and the sound is not coming clearly. I was going to your concern Nokia Care which is at Durgapur( Benachity) but they were unable to solve the problem and when i complained that its not got solve yet they behaved rudley with me and gave a conclussion which is not acceptable at all.So this is my heartily request to you please look into that mater and take proper and necesary steps....

          I am also a N2700 classic user.As i had faced from such a problem from speaker.
          So i have a simple and short solution for you:

          1) Remove your back cover.

          2) Wash it in a clean water and don't forget to clean it up with a brush.

          3) Keep it dry for 5 min and you can use a dryer to dry it faster.

          4) And at last plug it to your phone and play any song.

          5) I guarantee it might work because i have already clean it up and its working perfect.

            I bought a Nokia 5233 mobile from Studio Cell, #7, Venkatanarayana Road, T. Nagar, Chennai- 600 017. Ph: 2433 0201, TIN: [protected] on 30th January. He charged me Rs. 7884+315 (4% VAT) = Rs. 8200.
            On inquiring further at a NOKIA priority dealer shop (later, where I went to buy a memory card) I got to know that they are selling the same mobile (and it is the same throughout all the priority dealers) for Rs. 7400 inclusive of VAT. Obviously shocked at this, I went back to Studio cell to demand an explanation. He never put a reasonable argument and in the end, after a lot of heated debate, he agreed to pay me Rs. 350. I asked him to pay Rs. 800 or take his product back. He refused to give me an explanation (which obviously I am entitled to) and threatened me saying that " you can go anywhere and complain, you can call me a robber but I won't refund your money". During this whole time he never gave me a good reason why he's charging me Rs. 800 more than the current prevailing market price (which is obviously wrong) and refused to reason and listen. I even said I will get you an invoice from a Nokia Priority dealer but he said you can do what you want but I won't refund. Even his staff agreed that the charging was wrong but he shouted at them too.

            I don't see how such brazen violation of rules and trust should be tolerated. First duping the customer of money and then not even listening, forget reasoning, to him/her is something which should be punished. I have all the documents and the market price in Nokia priority dealers is something that is easily verifiable. I request action against this shop and it's owner who's cheating people and doing it openly.

              i have purchased a nokia 7210 super nova on october 2009. is was good.after three months set gets hangs,and suddenly nothing was displayed when it was given for service in chennai nokia care servive center i was told some software problem is there and will be ready in a couple of days,as assured the hand set was returned.

              aftre a week time the set again hanging and every time i have to switch off and on for working, when i try to upload the details in the memory card the set gets off automatically.noe the camera does not works,still it shows the camera is in standby mode.

              all the said complients are raised in the therr months time from the date of purchase and leads me into a sleepless and haselsful days.

              please look in to this and kindly exchange my nokia 7210 supernova to a new set pl.

              I bought Nokia 7210 supernova two months before from M/S. Mobile store, Nungambakkam, chennai. Nokia 7210 supernova camera is not working properly i went to mobile store after three days from the date of purchasing. they told me, we can't repalce new mobile you have go to nokia service center they will help you, but nokia service center they said they never repalce new mobile, i told i bought this mobile just three days before, so i never accept this.Still i am using the same mobile with same problem.so my humble request is Please give the awareness to our people about these type of worst rules having companies like NOKIA SERVICE CENTER.

                dear sir,

                i was purchased a nokia 6233 handset from bafna communication bassi dist- chittorgarh (raj.) from bill no. 68
                after some months mobile camera is not working properly. i was go to nokia care chittorgarh. mr. vishnu mundra the manger said there is no no problem and said all nokia 6233 in same problem. so dont worry.
                and after all i have more panic from my mobile camera nokia care chittorgarh is not made service of nokia 6233. and my waaranty period has almost expired. so please help me as soon as.

                  This is to bring in your kind notice that I pradeep paliwal cont. no [protected] bought a mobile phone from sigmen radio k-1a,kalkaji,new delhi-110019 ph.no.[protected],26451253.41629061.[protected] with there tin no.-[protected] the model no of mobile phone is NOKIA-7610 with imei no-[protected].The mobile was purchased on 01/03/2009 with bill no-14494 and book no.139 on my name only.The price of the mobile is rs-10800/-.
                  The mobile stopped working on 16/09/2009 and on the very next day i personally went to nokia care at NRI COMMUNICATION O-9,LAJPAT NAGAR-II, NEW DELHI-110024 AND THEY ASKED ME TO DEPOISTE RS-110.30 TO THERE COUNTER AGAINST THE RECEIPT NO-2941 AND book no-30.
                  After 3 days they called me up and said that this phone cannot be repaired and i have to pick it up today itself as the nokia center at lajpat nagar was going under renovations and then they will not be responsible for any loss or damage to the phone.
                  Today through my friend i came to know about this consumer cell and i request you to please look into the matter and solve my problem as soon as possible

                    I have nokia xpress music mobile handset.the problem is this sometime my phone auto restart & display blank.
                    same prob I faced with my other handset i.e Nokia 7210 supernova i checked it on service centre 8-9 time they update software but my phone not works proper. i had same prob again & again at last i sold it.then i purchase nokia xpress music 5130 but same prob in this handset.i checked it without s d card bt prob is as it is.

                        I am Khadija Champa. I am highly pissed off with my Nokia 6220C. I bought this phone in October 2010 within a month the phone started to hang, the camera cover was loose, also the body became loose.I had to submit the phone to Nokia care in start of November 2010. Nokia care took a month to get my phone back.They were not able to resolve the problem and hence Nokia provided me a new handset of the same model by the end of November 2010. Again in January 2010 the phone started with its problems.This time worst.It started to hang atleast 5-6 times a day. No network reception.The battery was terrible.The battery dint even last for 20hrs. I submitted back to nokia care. They did nothing.returned back my phone in 3 days with no improvement. I had even launced a complain with nokia care line.Complain no.: 1-[protected]. I had stil the same non working phone. I spent 13000 for this junk and now NOKIA doesnt want to help.
                        For a summary, till the time I bought this phone I have not even used the phone satisfactorili for a month. For most of the time it was with Nokia CAre.
                        I WANT MY MONEY BACK OR REPLACE MY PHONE WITH A DIFFERENT NOKIA HANDSET OF THE SAME VALUE....
                        THIS IS THE WORST NOKIA EXPERIENCE ANYONE CAN HAVE....

                        I bought this 6220c on 12/10/2008 (New Delhi) world wide Communications Nokia Priority Dealer (Bill No R1115 dt 12/10/2008 ([protected]).
                        Found defective with Key pads and Keys were not properly alighned.Being Manufacturing defect when noticed only after reaching Chennai.(AIRTEL Post paid customer ) Being Chennai based service connection I could find the fault only later.

                          I am happy that such portals exist for expressing your views on a product/ service.

                          I had purchased a Nokia phone 5130c a 6months back. It never gave me any problems till 5 month of the purchase. But in th e6th Month, it automaticlly switch off and i tried to switch on. But unable to run again. I went to nokia care center in ballabgarh-121004 for reparing my mobile. I do not what they have done. They told me that it cananot be repaired again, it is in dead condtion. They also charged around 150 RS and return my cell and.

                          It my humble request to Nokia company. Please Repair OR Replace my mobile. Otherwise i have to approach customer court.

                          nokia 5130c — replacement of mobile

                          I, S.Elangovan working in caterpillar, Thiruvallur. I purchased a Nokia mobile Model No. 5130 C IMIE No. [protected] on 28.7.2009 for an amount of Rs. 6,000/- in Sagar Sales Service, Perambur. From the date of purchase the mobile got hanged frequently and we consulted our nearby Nokia Care, Raksha Impex, Medavakkam Tank Road, Chennai.They serviced the mobile three to four times and once it was sent to Delhi for an service. But till now there is no efficient result or any improvement in the mobile. hence i am forced to the position to surrender the mobile to your concern if it is not replaced by your concern. i hereby inform you that i have to approach the District Consumer forum for non-replacement of the mobile and the mental agony suffered by me due to the frequent repair of mobile , the transportation cost and the court expenses incurred for the case if so. hence, i request you to replace and give me a new mobile instead of my mobile.

                                  i purchased nokia 5220 express music from konark telecommunications, new osmanpura, aurangabad(maharashtra) on 9th april 2009, they offered me one year warranty. recently there was some sort of techniucal problem regarding my mobile phone's speaker. so i went to nokia care(jalaram communications) palanpur, gujarat, they said that, my warranty period was already over and also the date of purchasing is wrong.

                                  Nokia 5220 Xpress Music — noisy sound output

                                  I bought a nokia 5220 xpress music around 30 days before and it was not working from the third day . I gave it to the nokia service center (radiant) the next day the, but they gave my cell back after 25 days without servicing it.I gave them thrice for the same problem but they kept my cell for servicing and returned it to me without any service.so i want immediate replacement of my cell or return my cash which i paid for that mobile(rs.8000)

                                      I have purchase a nokia-6300 on 10th of march09.
                                      after 3months there was a restarting problem in my handset,than i gone a nokia care center for get my handset repair.After 30 minutes they update softwere of my phone.but next day i faced the same restarting problem.after that i gone nokia care center n number of times.on 4th dec 09 they given me a job sheet[protected]/091204/36) & told me we are sending your phone at our head office and After 10-15 days your phone will be repaired and than you can collect..
                                      but after that they are saying that your phone is tamperd and you have get repaired it from outside.. till now they have not repaired phone.....

                                        Dear Sir,
                                        I am James Peter from Andhra Pradesh. I have bought one NOKIA mobile on 10th December, 2009 from JK Mobiles Jammalamadugu. That mobile getting problem on 15th December, 2009. The problem is mobile automatically switched off while receiving the call or dialing the number. I handed over my hand set to the concern mobile shop. They advised me, to contact the prodattur NOCKIA CARE CENTRE with original bill.
                                        I contact that concern nokia care centre on 16th December, 2009 with all papers and my hand set. After checking my handset, they told me your handset getting software problem and loading new software. But problem does not rectify. So they said, handed over the handset to them for sending the hand set to Delhi head office for service and also they said your hand set will return to you after minimum fifteen days. Immediately I handed over my hand set to them. After service on 5th January, 2010. I get back my hand set.
                                        At that time I have got shock because my hand set panel screen fully scratched and dirty. I asked with concern NOKIA care Representative what is this sir? I handed over a new hand set for service to you, now my hand set front screen and panel were getting fully damage. At that time they said it is not my fault this is NOKIA company fault we are not responsible for this damage because we have sent your hand set very safely to the NOKIA Company.
                                        So i have contact the customer care in [protected] and convey my problem to customer representative Mr. SEKAR ON 6th January, 2010. My complaint NO: 1-[protected]. He advised me send all papers and photo copy of my hand set. As per his advice I sent original bill scan copy, job sheet scan copy and colour photo of my hand set for your kind reference. Please I kindly request you to arrange new hand set as early as possible.
                                        I am a professional person I am not satisfied for this type of service. Because we think NOKIA hand sets and your services are very good after sale. Please under stand my situation and feelings. Or otherwise I handed over my hand set to NOKIA COMPANY through the concern service centre

                                        dear sir,

                                        i bought a nokia 5130c-2 before one month, my mobile display was out. then as i went to nokia care. they told this is ur problem, put the new display and its cost is rs.1200. but i dont know this is original piece or duplicate piece... but i want the original display. how can i get it.. pls reply me. my native is Tamilnadu, India.

                                        nokia 5130 — gifts

                                        i purchased nohia 5130 b4 3 months.There was a gym bag worth rs 300 was free with it and at that time the servicemen told me that the bag is currently not available with us and told me 2 come after a week .But when i went there after 10 days they further told me 2 come after few days and this process is being continued till today....i don't know why nokia offers these schemes if their intention is not 2 provide these ,not only me many customers are unhappy with nokia..........sorry 2 say this nokia should change their tagline-nokia connecting people 2 some other tagline bcoz they r not able 2 connect with the customers in any sense........
