Dear Sir,

I was a satisfied customer of Nokia since 1995, but the following incident has destroyed my faith and trust on Nokia.

I have purchased an NOKIA 3250 hand set recently from middle east, which was made in Germany. I am having a problem in my hand set. Even though there is enough space I am getting a message as memory full delete some data.

I have approached one of your authorised service centre CARE POINT , # 25/1, Srikantha Mahal, 1st Floor,1st Cross. Sampige Road, Mallshwaram, Bangalore -560 003. INDIA , mail: [protected]@nokiacareindia.com. ASC # 140_434038.

Customer service people informed me that I have to pay the service charges since the hand set is made in Germany, though the hand set is under warranty.
I have paid the bill amount Rs. 1360=00 ( one thousand three hundred sixty only) with bill NO 4013 on 27th September 2007 in the above mentioned address.

This incident has caused a lot of mental agony and harassments, I am planning proceed through the legal method for the inconvenience if I don’t get my money and the transportation charges (Rs 1000 )to visit your service centre several time by false promise.

This is the final notice and if I do not receive my claims and the charges within 10 days, I am constrained to file my legal papers in consumer forum for justice.

Nokia 3250 — Phone defective not repaired nor replaced

I purchased a nokia 3250 in nov 2006
from first day it gave problems
after rotating the base keypad 180 degrees it should start a music player, it didnt
i approached the dealer
he asked me to approach service centre
there, they took my phone returned it after 2 months
the phone worked for 4 months
again it died, couldnt get switched on
i went back, they kept it again for 3 months returned back
now again the $%%^$#%&^& phone died,
they broke it's frame during first service, since im not experienced in facing this stuff, i accepted the phone . later on they themselves rejected my phone on grounds of physical damage. %*&&**&(*()
now the $^*&&^ 16000 rs phone is lying useless. They didnt replace it, now they say its irrepairable, i was foolish to waste 16000 on tht , their customer service is bull !!!
piss em, im thiking of going to consumer court!
pls help in any way

Nokia 3250 — poor service and behaviour

my cell was working properly, only problem was that when i entered deep into my house in govind nagar, kanpur network to fluctate.i went to nokia care in govind nagar on 26/06/2008 at 12.30pm, thsignals began e atmosphere inside was like a baniye ki dukan, people were shouting to call each other.no was seeming to work.i explained to saurabh what to do and he seemed that he had a fight with someone in morning.his face was telling all the story(6.30 on his face). i was kept waiting for 2 hrs..i was handed the set on 28/06/2008. i called on 26, 27 on [protected] and behaviour was rude.my set was not repaired. i am really upset about the careness they have shown. no words to explain. please dont spoil the name of an international brand in the hands of illiterate people.

Nokia 3250 — outgoing audio not working they need time to repair my cell is 6months.

i gave my mobile at nokia care at hubli. For one problem was key pad is not working. key pad problem got rectiefied but now problem occered i.e, outgoing audio is not working for this problem.

NOKIA3250 — TO MUCH TIME FOR REPAIR

I HAD A PROBLEM OF insert SIM IN MY NOKIA 325O ON 25/07/08. I just went to nolkia care in phase 7, Mohali, Punjab and handed over my cellphone to them. I asked Mr.Rajeev that tell me the time required for the repair he told me that i ll be getting my cell back in 1 week. But till now i havent got my cell back.Why is this much delay to a non warrenty coustomer??
I wana if problem occur in Nokia cell after a year, then is there any policy that nokia wont care about that coustomer in the near future??
i have spend Rs 15, 900 on my ceell, and that nokia persons at nokia care don even care about that.
plz help.

I also suffered from similar problem. Rs.4 was being deducted every day.I tried a lot by calling customer care. Finally I got the solution. send SMS UNSUB to the number you are getting wap message or a message like thank you for subscribing to the subscription service or FHM video of the day etc.

Example:


UNSUB to 57007. SMS sending charge will be Rs.2.

    Had purchased the Xpress music model 5220 of Nokia in Sept'08. Since then, have been facing problems like phone getting hanged, automatically sw off etc. But never approached the customer care. But, last week, suddenly the phone got sw off without any reason and no amount of charging could get it on. Am yet to submit the same to the dealer but when got it chk from a friend who is also a dealer, was told that the battery is completly gone & will have to get a new one...

    Nokia 5220 — not satisfacted by ur product

    myself Deshdeepak ratna, i had purchased nokia 5220 on[protected] in Rs-7800/-
    now i m under great problem...i.e -in the pamplet of the handset it was said that 24 hrs battery backup...but i m getting only 5-7 hrs battery backup...i sent my handset to the customer care they replaced the battery ..but still also the same problem is occuring and now the battery is out of warrenty...

    plz solve my problem---either changing the model or giving money back ...plz .

      Hello Sir,

      I have taken a Nokia 5130 mobile on 24-Sept-09 @ 'The Mobile Store' Kattriguppe, BSK 3rd Stage, Bangalore. I paid Rs 5300 for handset. I faced a serious problem with handset on 26-Sept-09. While talking mobile phone got switched off after that I am unable switch on the mobile.

      Then I went to shop i.e. The Mobile store and I told the same. They told 'it will be minor problem juts need to reboot software' and they will send it to Nokia Service centre. The very next day they told 'It’s not possible to repair the mobile in Bangalore so they will send it to Mumbai and it will take 10 days'.
      Then asked for replacement but they are not ready to replace it.

      I would like to book a case against 'The Mobile store' and also as well as on 'Nokia'.
      I want replacement of Handset.

          Nokia 7310 — harrassed by service

          Dear Concern,

          I gave my 7310 to Ludhiana nokia care in 11 feb, but executive doesn’t response correctly, these guys after a week give me excuses and excuses only (part not available) and till date i m not receive my mobile. I m very harassed by their services. Kindly look into the matter and help me. They promised me that your cell will be ok on last Saturday and they intimated me but till time no call on their side.           i m sanjeev singh i would like to complain about the service centre of nokia at aligarh uttar pradesh india.
          i have purchase a cell phone nokia7310 and a got the voice activation and dialing problem and the volume problem, i went there at customer care of nokia at aligarh and i ask to help me to fix my cellphone that ius coming under warrenty period, it is just the 4-5 months only, the manager mr- faram rizbi he attend me and, he told me that we cant fixed yr cell phone becouse it is a physical demage but it was not when he was opening the cellphone that movement of time he did some brakage in the volume part, but there was the problem in the cellphone itself and he refuse and said the this is not under warrenty, and he took the photographs and report the company that the cellphone is not our responsibility and i will give u a solution that u can go out side and fixed yr problem by some local mobile repair shop and this is not our responsibility to fix it. and did the miss behave with me and when i ask for the report than he refuse to give me the service report and said to me that do whatever u want to do, and said the he is going to be loyal to the company without serving and helping the customer.and the behaviour was very bed and abusing.i m not expecting this all things witch is happen with me, this y i woul like to take this matter further to the consumer forum.plese do the necessory action agains this centre.

          i am having problems with my keys 7, 8, 9 and (-)...what should i do? if i get it fixed, will the problem reoccur? is it a model defect?...plz help me asap!!!
          I bought this piece in October 2008.
          Keys 7, 8 & 9 along with Sound Down key are not working. & This is the 2nd time of this problem. When 1st time this problem occurred, I had submitted it to care center, they solved the problem & give it back to me after 8 days. Now again the problem is here to haunt me, & I have given it to Nokia care for 15 days!
          I guess, Nokia care owns my mobile more than I!! :-(

          Nokia 7310 — keypad problem and lack of battery backup

          on 5feb of this year i purchased this handset after twice submitting the problem of keys(7,8,9 nd(-) ) have not been solved . not only dis i have talked to the company executive but didnt got the satisfactory answer . they are not agreing that the product have manufacturing defect.
          sir i just want that my handset should be replaced and some other handset of the same cost should be provided to me
          i bought nokia 7310 14months ago. now 7, 8, 9, *, 0, # keys do not work . i think it is the problem of model. i say others not to be cheated for 7310...

            I bought a Nokia handset 5130 from The Mobile Store, Gopinath Bazar, Delhi Cantt on 19 Sep 09. It stoped functioning on 23 sep 09. Lodged complaint with Nokia care centre, Jail Road, Hari Nagar on 24 Sep 09. The CCE kept the handset for repairs. No action on 25 & 26 Sep 09 except for keeping us on waiting for hours. On 27 Sep the handset was returned with a promise that it has been repaired. However it did not function. Again on 03 Oct the set was kept by them for repairs at 1200 hrs with a promise to collect it at 1700 hrs. When we went there at 1615 hrs the office was closed. On Monday 05 Oct 09 we have been told that the handset will be sent for repairs/replacement and collect it after one month.

            absolutely negative attitude of your staff.

            Will you look into the matter please.

            This is with regret that i have to inform you that my set has developed display problems after 15 days o[censored]se. took it to the E-ZONE electronic shop where i purchased the phone said tha they only sell it and i have to go to the nokia customer care. later i visited the NCC since it was sunday it was closed. the next day after takin leave i visited the NCC. They said it is a manufacturing defect of the LCD monitor (display monitor) they will not replace the set they will only repair and fixed the problem.

            Here my point of view is why i am bying a mobile set paying full amount which is defective. why can't they replace the mobile set rather than repaing it because it was used only for few days. which means that you bye a defective set by paying full amount and get the headache of running around for repair.

            As i am seeing from other people complaints that once the phone has complaints they keep on coming.

            Since i have purchased the phone at a very dear price, we expect full value for our money and ask you to replace the set at the earliest. Also ensure that such problems do not creep up in future and that our faith in Nokia remains undaunted, otherwise we have to think that the Nokia sells defective models for full price and give the assurance of repairing it again and again when there is problem.

            I purchased a nokia5130 IMEI no.[protected] on26.5.2009 from Borthakurs agencz, jorhat, Assam. The set developed start up problem. It failed to start up. Nokia Care once repaired it. It worked for only 1 day. Re-Sent it to Nokia Care, they now play around & said warrenty ir void as it was repaid/handled earlier. & it is unrepairable. too!!!
            I bought a Nokia handset 5130 from jiddah Saudiarabia. It stoped functioning on27.jan.2010. Lodged complaint with Nokia care centre, kodugallur, thrissur kerala. according to them, it have manufacturing defect & it dont have warrenty in kerala . it is impossible to bring the handset to there .so what will i do?! i hope you will consider me. please reply.

                I want to play real player audio files in the mobile. So I need the real player software to the mobile. Please explain how to get it installed.

                I brought my mobile just 3 months back and it is frequently getting hung.I gave it to the service centre for the first time, they said its software complaint and it will be fine after reloading the software.After that, the problem only worsened.The frequency of hang ups started to increase and every time i have to take out the battery.Again I took it to the service centre.They are giving some lame excuses like its virus from my songs.I know for sure that I am taking the songs from reliable sources.Still I accepted what they said.After that i stopped taking any files to my mobile.Even the ring tones I am using is the Nokia tunes.Again its hanging, Now what am I to do?Till the end of my warranty period the Service Centre people will give me excuses like this, and after that, they can start charging thir huge bills on me.I only get off days once in 2 weeks and seems that i have to spent my off days in the Service Centre just because I was stupid enough to buy Nokia Product.Please do something to help.

                nokia 6500 — Software Problem

                I have recently purchased a Nokia 6500 and have found several faults.
                1) the phone just reboots itself when it pleases whether you are talking to someone or not
                2) I am also getting problem while accessing Internet from this cell.
                3)There is software problem in this set many times in dialled numbers you will not find any number, all the phone settings changed(Wallpaper, Ringtone, Screen saver) changed to the default setting of the phone automatically.
                4)Cell is under waranty period even then Nokia Service Center is charging to upgrade the software.

                NOKIA/Nokia 6500S — Handset Problem

                I purchased the handset on 2nd July, 2008. I started facing problems while operating the phone like phone rebooting/restarts while using, display flikering, not reading the memory card, speed started slowing down, getting hanged up. I submitted my handset at NOKIA care on 12th Dec, 2008 (job sheet no.[protected]/081212/4) and after that did not receive any response from them even after continuous follow ups. Further I had also logged a complaint at customer care [ complaint no. 2-3njjj3].

                On 31st Dec, 2008 i.e. after 19 days they confirmed that the handset is fine and i can collect the same. When I went their and checked the phone it had the same problem for which they said they were not able to detect the reason earlier and asked me to collect my handset in 2 days time. When I had a talk with them after 2 days, they gave me some estimated which is not acceptable as i submitted the handset well within 6 months of purchase (therefore co. should bear all kind of cost). I had to reopen by complaint at customer care because there was no further response from their side.
                Finally I got my handset on 24th of January, 2009 i.e 43 days from the date I submitted my handset. All the problems I was facing at the time of submitting the handset are still there. I am fed up with this kind of service and response. Kindly do the needful on this and take necessary action.

                PLEASE DONT BUY NOKIA'S EXPENSIVE PHONE, NOT WORTH BUYING IT.

                So are you getting a Certificate error when you try to install the app??? if so then before installing the app change the date on your phone to something like[protected] or 2006 and then install the app, you wont hopefully get an error that way...Change the date back after insatlling the app/.

                  On 3/10/09 in the evening, I purchased a Nokia 5130C mobile with IMEI no: [protected] from 'Mobile Phone Tiranga Next', Shop No. 4, Near Quality Punjab, Kapurbawadi Naka, Thne(W) - 400 607. I am having a problem with the camera. When I open the camera it is not clear and the screen is completely filled with bright spots in the dark. This was informed to Tiranga Next the next day morning. They asked me to take the phone to the service center and that they will replace the same.

                  Let me know as to what I will have to do now.

                    With in the short period i.e from 25.08.2009 I have faced Two Major problems.One Month also i am not used cell properly.

                      i hav a camera problem with my nokiaE71, its in warranty and i have already complaint about it near chinchwad nokia care.(15 TIMES)

                      first they refuse to repair it and try to amuse me by saying that its normal, but it is a real problem which has been seen by everyone else but not them.
                      howeverso they kept my cellphone for repairing for 15 days but they did'nt repair it.
                      and more problems keeps on coming after repairing.
                      when i tell them about that they tried to bully on me.
                      this was not expected at all from NOKIA. the only reason to buy nokia phone was that nokia means trust..
                      but it had lost my trust. i have spent RS.20000 FOR BUYING MY PHONE.

                        I “Pradeep Sharma” have a NOKIA mobile handset (model n0- 3110c, IMEI NO-[protected], under warranty). It went out of order on 16/7/09 and I gave it to nokia Meerut service (NEXTEL) on the same day against job sheet no[protected]/090716/59. I got it back on 02/08/09 and after nine days the same problem occurred with the mobile and I gave it back to the service centre for the service against the same job sheet no- , and got it back after service on 02/09/09. After thirteen days of service my mobile went out of order third time, and I gave it to service centre third time against job sheet no[protected]/090915/65 on 15/09/09. Now I don’t want to take it back. During this period I was mentally tortured and misbehaved by your Meerut service centre and whenever I asked about progress of my mobile I was not given appropriate answer by your service partner. I am very disappointed with nokia. I made complain in nokia care but result is the same disappointment. I feel cheated. I don’t think so that your service centre is able to repair my mobile so that I want to get my mobile replaced with new set.

                        Please give me some solid reason why shouldn’t I file suit against nokia and its service partner (Nextel)

                          I own my new 6303c NOKIA cell,
                          which has inbuilt opermini software...
                          I am not able to browse from it, I even tried with latest operamin 4.2 web browser.
                          but then the problem is same,

                            tried calling service centers they say there is no issue in the handset. you reinstall the software & format phone. Did all the advised stuff.... but still no answers
                            Is Nokia company not responsible for giving a good product, and if their software is faulty they should come up with a solution or take all phones back from market.

                            Have u upgraded the firmware for ur phone to latest version. Have you installed any 3rd party applications on your phone after purchasing. These could be reasons for the poor performance of the phone.

                            If none of the above then take it to Nokia Care and flash the phone software and reinstall it.

                            Try this .. It might help.

                              Dud, same is the problem with my N 79 set also. Now it is lying with nokiacare, dont know bout its fate, but Nokia is now befooling people by its brand name only.
                              Pls check you set must be make in china like mine, Nokia is now dumping chinese make models in Indian Market. So all customers beware of such models otherwise you will suffers. I had problems earlier also with Nokia xpress music phones, then somebody told me N-series is good. But look what Nokia has done to our trust, so everyone bewafe before wasting your money with NOKIA

                                  I have purchased a nokia n 72 handset from one of your dealer at raigarh (c.g) from very Begning i am facing problem with the set it get hanged many times for which i admited it in nokia care situated at raigarh for more than Three times, ln the month of july key pad of the mobile is not working then i again deposite it in nokia care they inform me that it is liquid damage and chare me for that but with in two or three day it get automatically triped then they again collect repairing charge for that before some day i face same type of problem i again admited it in nokia care and i get a communication from nokia care that it cost me near about 1900/- rupees i want to know while i repaired my set in nokia care every time why this set get frequently triped every times, kindly take the matter in serious matter

                                  Dear, sir i bought n72 handset in oct-2007 which is under warranty but i am having a problem of handset getting hanged sp i went to nokia care center which is located in R.T nagr banglore insted o[censored]pgrading the software they opened it but while opening it get damaged now handset is not accesing the momery card so that i again went to them told my problem now this time they are asking me a service charge o[censored]pgrading software and they are telling that its I C get damaged and disply componont is gone but my mobil e is getting on and even i am getting the disply.So i want immadite action for this otherwise i will take this matter to consumer court this is my first and last mail to nokia complaint

                                    Inspite of all efforts from my side goes in vain. The entire team of Nokia is helpless to resolve my problem (Only 10days old Nokia 2600 c). I would like take some efforts to promote Nokia Care. In case Nokia care is not in a position to confirm me the status of my complaint except false promises, Ref. 2-3E3HEP, and hand-set is with your NOKIA CARE since 29 Aug 2008. Not to hesitate to provide me the Name and address of the Authority concerned so that I can request them to get it repaired or accept gift from my side. Please take your decision at the earliest, saliency is not the solution of problems.

                                    NOKIA 2600 c — SIM REGISTRATION FAIL

                                    purchased one set of NOKIA 2600 Clasic on 2/12/2008, till date i am facing problems .once in the month of June customer care center Bharatpur have just placed the software but the problem continued , this time again on 4/11/09 i approach to customer care Job No.[protected]/091104/4 but again the result is same. The problem with the set is that automatically it indicates SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAIL/NO SERVICE. B,coz of this problem 2 SIM;s of BSNL already crackdown.
                                    Now what to do....customer care is helpless.... i want new set or value of my set.

                                      Dear Sir,
                                      I am purchsed a mobile 6275 from nokia priority in bikaner & the mobile are default in under 1 mths
                                      so please solve my problem....

                                      nokia 6275 — Problematic handpiece sold followed by estimated mobile repair time is 1 month with no guarantee repair

                                      I purchased Nokia 6275 from Sangeetha store in Forum Mall Bangalore. On using the phone for 10minutes, the incomming voice starts getting distorted totally and handet becomes very hot.

                                      I went to sngeetha store and they gave me a contact information of popular Sangeetha helpline. From there I was asked to ultimately go to Nokia Care.

                                      At nokia care there was Ms. Pavitra who told me that the mobile will loose all its data and contacts unless I MANUALLY take backup, and the mobile will further be gone for 15 days to Chennai for repair. Then she asked me if I really want to give it for repair. when I asked more she called "the supervisor" Mr Pradeep. Who further extended the repair time to 25 days and told me that the phone will be sent to head office where it will be decided if it could be repaired.

                                      The mobile is defected from day 1 but it was discovered only after talking for some time(10-15 mins). I dont understand why there is so many people employed and kept at Nokia Care and so many centers are there at Bangalore when all they are doing is to collect the phone and send it to Chennai and sit there seeing the big flat screen TV that company has placed there with the money collected from the customers. They should hire some repair engineer instead for the city.

                                      If really that is the time required for repair then the company should provide a different handset(maybe with a guarantee/security from the customer).

                                      looks to me that Nokia actually wants its customers to go and get their product repaired from local electronics market.
