    I Purchased NOKIA 7610S at Nokia Priority Store Located at Rajbhavan Road, Somajiguga, Hyderabad on 13 February 2009, and gifted the same as Valentine Day Gift, after very next day, we found problem in the speaker as well the battery drowning rapidly, went back to Nokia Priority Store, explained them the whole thing and they said they can do nothing about it but i expressed all my pain then they changed the battery and gave me a service center contact details for further rectification, went all the way from Somajiguda to RTC Cross roads, and gave my mobile which is under 30 days replacement warranty, after about 20 days i spoke to Nokia care on[protected], they said my phone had been sent from head office to Navadip Mobiles (the service centre), i faithfully went there to collect the phone, they gave me the phone, i was shocked to see that, i have received a handset which had been used like anything, all the paint on navigation key has gone and also the slide is not behaving like a new one, i said i am not taking this phone and left it in the same store and lodged another complaint, then they gave me a compaint no.[protected]/090403/38 dated 17 April 2009, there is no communication till today and as usual i spoke to Nokia care on[protected] for almost 24 minutes explaining the whole scene, their update says "the phone is sent to head office" but any which ways you just speak to Navadip mobiles, again i tried calling Navadip mobiles - they have not received my call for almost first 3 attempts, luckily some one take my call take the complaint number and says my phone is arrived, and they are suppose to call me back to intimate whether i have received a replacement or the same old & used phone, and they not called me still.

    Broadly : New Phone - Problem - Service Centre - Shok of Life on receiving a used one instead of a replacement - tried again - trying and prying god - do i need this??

      I submitted my nokia N73 phone on 18 .02.2009 to the nokia care centre @ 26/2, hindustan park, gariahat, kolkata-19
      for some repairing work, At that time, my set was under warranty period.They called me to come after 15 days.but when i went there, they said set is not ready.after that, they asked me to come on another date.when i went there, the set was still not ready & they said the set is in delhi.they again called me to a new date.when i went there, set still not ready, they gave me in written a date on which set would be ready.when i went on next date, they again have the same negative face.however after my repeated request, they gave me a stand by set.

      now, today, a couple of months has already passed but they had still not given back the set. furthermore, i got through a lot of physial & mental stress due to their irresponsibility.also, they used to call me onb week days which caused a lot of loss in my buisness.

      furthermore, the phone no. they gave with[protected] has never got responded when called on.

      I KNOW ASK- IS MOBILE SUCH A GAZZETE THAT SOMEONE WILL KEEP FOR MORE THAN 2 MONTHS.

      sir.with this much problems i hope appropriate actions would be taken against the culprit

      NOKIA N95 — Delay in replacement

      I bought Nokia N95 on Mrach 08 and after 3 months i was facing the backlight problem. I submitted my handset on 11th July 08 but time of return the problem was not solved. i again submittd my handset and they return the faulty handset again. I agin submitted (3rd time) and that time executive told me that it may be replaced but now its almost a month and i didn't receive the replacement. Please advise. What can i do?

      Nokia — MORE DELAY IN REPLACEMENT OF HANDSET

      I had purchased new NOKIA Handset (6233) on dated 21.07.2008 from NOKIA authorized dealer but i faced problem of slow alarm tone and rapidly discharge of battery since purchase. i visited nokia customer care center and submit my handset for repair/replace on 05.09.2008 but i am very regret to say that till now my handset is not repaired/replaced.
      my handset nokia n72 has gone to repair flash LED its imei n.o. is[protected]

      NOKIA N95 — Replacement of nokia n95

      i bought Nokia N95 six months back for Rs.20000 and after only a month i got a problem with it.The phone automatically restarts for which i brought the phone to the nearest modcad centre in Faridabad(A-21, Nehru Ground, N.I.T., Faridabad 121001, Haryana).They said your phone will be okay but you will have to leave it for some days.I said, fine.After few days when i received the phone, i think it wasn't repaired correctly, because the problem continued.i again reached NOKIA service center, this time they said that they will send the phone to the company(Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi) to rectify the problem and after 25 days i got my phone back, but the same problem still continued and again third time i gave the phone and received it without any solution.And now 4 days back, for the fourth time, I gave the phone to the service centre with a hope that they will solve the problem or hopefully give me a new phone as it was in the quarantee period.My phone IMEI NO. is [protected].
      Following are the 4 job sheet nos. which I received in return of my complaints:-

      Nokia N73 — 2 months delay in repairing the phone

      I submitted my NOKIA N73 on 20/07/09 to Mr Harpreet singh at Gee Mobile, Mohinder Chamber ,Opp Dc Office Distt courts JALANDHAR...........I have made several phone calls and Visits to this center..........but all in Vain..They are harassing me too a great extent............Its already more than 2 months...They are not giving the phone to me
      I am working as a Lecturer at a university so cant goto NOKIA center again and again due to my job limitations.........

        Arkadaşlar, mesajın kısmen doğruluğu var. Mesaj bana ulaştıktan sonra belirtilen numaraya mail adresimi yolladım. Daha sonra detaylı bir bilgi geldi email aracılığıyla. Gelen maildeki bir kaç işlemi uygulayınca hesabıma yaklaşık 750 dolar yolladılar. Yani mesajda yazdığı gibi 100 bin pound falan değil ama 750 dolar da fena para değil hani :)

        I've recieved same msg about NOKIA AWARD . Please before do anything check these:
        phone number is +[protected] from Nigeria (check +234 is Nigeria international phone code)
        second phone number is [protected] (UK) which they want you to contact with
        they cant send spam/fake msg from uk that's why they r using nigerian phones. there r so many nigerian sibercrime groups, so i suggest u to be carefull about it.
        last note: NOKIA is a finnish company and do u really think they'd send msg from nigeria for such an award like this ?!!

        I also recieved that message today and I've runned a check on the two numbers: the sender number which can start by either +22 or +23 and the number that is mentioned in the text. The number that starts with +44 is located in India and the other nuber (starts with +22/+23) is located in Africa somewhere. It is 100% scam. Nothing else.

          Nokia N85 — lost in train (bandra-dehradun)

          I was travelling from Mumbai(bandra) to baroda(guj) in bandra-dehradun express. And i lost my Nokia N85 handset in the train and didn't find it. It is a legal mobilephone of Copper or Brownish colour and i also have its IMEI number & Bill.
          Please i request you to take an immediate action towards my complaint as i have many important data in my phone like Contacts, Photos, Messages & other personal data. I lost it around a week or 10 days.

            Sir,
            I purchased Nokia 5220 4 months ago. Since then it sometimes used to hang and restart automatically. About a month ago the same thing happend and it never restarted rather a message was displayed "Contact Service". I went to the servicing center and they replaced my piece but a few days ago again the same thing happend. As a customer i request u to give a solution to my problem

            even i have the same kind of problem. i bought this phone (Nokia 5220) a few months back and it suddenly started switching off itself every 15min or so. i am really fed up with this phone. even the service people don't have any solution for this problem.as a customer i request you to give a solution for this problem.
            i bought nokia 5220 6 months ago, it refused to accept other sim cards, later now it switched off, every time i turn it on, it flashes the message "contact service", this phone iz damn expensive..why dont we get value for our money!!!
            i have this phone and i, ve never been happy with it. only had it 4months but it constantly freezes and then today it turned off and just flashes the contact service on it. really wish id bought a different phone and wont bother going for a nokia again.
            my nokia5220 keep going off after some minute and then on agin pls is there any solution for that
            This is a F*&kd up Cellphone, I got all these problems, 2 weeks after i bot the fone it had a spearker problem they fixed it, 4 months later it died not starting up, today it says "contact service " and doesn't boot.
            i guess i hv the same problem (contact [censored]en service) any solution be4 i burn it up

              I am shocked to bring to your knowledge that i have recently purchased the nokia 2600c above-noted set which is infested with certain technical problems. Since we have purchased the phone at a very dear price, we expect full value for our money and ask you to give us proper services from your nokia care. But I found misbehaving and improper services (below mentioned) from your nokia care dhar by Mr. pankaj rampal branch manager ok nokia care dhar



              1- my nokia 2600c is not working/ start so submitted my mobile phone at your nokia centre dhar in middle of the march 09 at 6:30 PM but your manager does not gave me proper job and told me that the mobile is out of warranty due to water and rupees 450 will be charged for that so I am agree for that and I am waiting at your nokia care after half hour mr pankaj told me that I don’t spoil my time he repaied it in half hour then he call me back when I asked for job card so he gave me a local paper and took my battery in his drawer. After every day I send my employee to your care centre and he always told that he repair my mobile in evening or next morning. After more then 10 days today morning I talked him so he promised me that he is suffering from employee problem and no engineer is at his centre so he repaired at today’s evening. But when at evening I reached at your care centre with my spouse and kids he talk with me very roughly and told me that I don’t have enough time for your mobile I have already very much work . so I argue that why he took my mobile for more then 10 days. So he gave me my mobile returned and told me in very hard way that take your mobile back when I asked for my battery then firstly he denied for it but after my forcing he gave me back my battery.



              2- When I asked him to gave me his superiors no so he denied for it and when I was found the no of from other sources he told me that “ is care se bahar nikal jao nahi to dhakke mar kar nikal dunga” when I told him that its not your personal centre its nokia care so he told me “ yeh nokia care meri hai mai iska malik hun aur khud company bhi ab aa kar kahegi to mai aapka mobile thik nahi karunga”



              He abused me in front of four people exclude my wife and kids. And I have some proof for all that discussion. When I talked with local mobile dealer so they told me that mr pankaj is also misbehave with them and if you want then I can send you so many proof like local receipt of nokia care manager, recorded all the discussion with mr pankaj, neighbors confirmation, misbehave nature of mr pankaj from local mobile vender certificate.


              In anticipation of your prompt response, else I am going legal activities and all the expanses will be charged at your site.

              This is my last email to you that if you are not replying my last email and this email to which is also enclosed to this email and not taking any initiative against your dhar franchisee, I think that you don’t want to take any action in this matter and if you are pressuring me to going for legal activity then all responsibility is yours and nokia India pvt ltd.                 respected sir,
                i bought nokia 6500 slide-1 from a showroom classic gift in ghumar mandi, ludhiana, ten months ago in ludhiana, punjab.
                last month suddenly a dark line appeared in the midlle of screen when i went to nokia care they told me that it is due to pressure on the screen it has broken so cannot be covered under our 1 year warranty offer .
                but i told them that this phone has never been hit by anything there is no scratch on screen so how could it break . they said even while keeping in pocket sometimes even a slight pressue could press a screen and break it . the line goes off when keypad is locked and lights go off the screen.
                i am highly disappointed by this kind of product being made by Nokia company which could break by slight pressure while phones are kept in pockets how can such a costly phone of 13400 rs have such a weak display screen. and more over your after sales sevices are not good as on nokia care centre behind krishna mandir in model town, ludhiana is selling the new screen for 2500 rs- to customers and another nokia care centre in fountain chowk is fixing it for 1850 rs- to their customers, how could they charge different for samething at two diff. nokia company care centres in same city. that means you people dont have fixed charges for your products . i asked them to atleast install new software into my cell again they gave lamey excuses, how could you and your company have such policies of harrasing your customers. i would never recomend anyone to buy nokia phones now onwards as they have cheap screen or displays and there after sales services are so poor that even in warrantee they dont cover up such defects.

                      i am from singapore. i bought a N85 Phone for S$540 ( in two year post paid plan). some settings i cant change. i cant mute the camera sound. display also very dim. there is not veriety of themes. we must download it. phone is block colour and the display also block. so i ask for change other models . but the shop owners refused. i cant satisfy with the phone. so i sold it to other person for 475 S$ only. normally original prize approxmately S$700. if i keep the phone long days, the resale cost come very down. so i sold immediately.

                        there are many nokia company cell phones are running in market but some of them are being selling beyond there MRP, about a difference of 500 and max. and shopkeepers are telling to the customer that there are shortage of that models thats why we are doing so, but at the same instant company also selling them above MRP on there nokia priority shops, currently nokia-5130 is selling in the market at the difference of 1000 rs.

                            respected sir,

                            yesterday (16/04/09) i visted the nokia for repair my handset i.e nokia 1650 . nokia 1650 have problem of hanged during work and not given a proper battery backup . for solve the above problem i went to nokia customer care. after checking, executive replied that received after one and half hour . but i replied i received tomarrow and executive replied no problem with us u may received tomarrow . on next day means (17/04/09) executive said we will give u tomarrow (18/04/09), but i replied sorry i have a urgent need of this handset so please return me and executive said it took one hour, against that i replied please return me and executive said wait for 5 mins. i said ok, they picked out the handset from locker and attached with computer and after that return me . i found handset is not working . i ask to executive that handset is not working .and excutive replied we returned u in same condition as u subbmitted us . after that i demanded the job sheet and handset and leave the customer care . mr. sandeep chopra run behind me hold my arm in very rough way due to that i have a problem in my back because i m already suffered from fever .mr. sandeep chopra caught the handset from my hand and use rude ( also abuse words ) language in front of people . he also spoke rude words like go away from here . by above behaviour i felt insult and leave that place . so please take a legal action against him . i hope u will take postive action against him as soon as possible. please reply the time peroid that takes for action .

                              Dear Sir,

                              Undersigned had purchased Nokia 7310c Blue.Pink mobile hand set on 29/12/2009 from Mobile House. G-29, Savitri Market, Sector-18, Noida 201301. IMEI. NO. [protected] amounting to Rs.7500/- (Rupees seven thousand five hundred only).

                              The set key pad digit no. 7, 8 & 9 is not working and cover of blue and pink is not fully compact with hand set due to more times changed either blue or pink.

                              After enquirying from Connaught Place/Noida dealer, I visited to your Company Nokia Service Centre, 80 Gol Market, New Delhi. They asked for money amounting to Rs. 60/- for ckecking of set and told me in case parts is available then repair it otherwise you have to pay set checking amount. Your engineer is checked the set and told that the parts is not available with us so you may go to Gurudwara Road, Karol Bagh area to search the parts and repair from local market or NOKIA Service centre. They are gentleman so he had not charged any amount for checking the set. The engineer of your service centre is refusing to accept the warranty since set cover is changable and not properly set. As per warranty period is one year.

                              I hope you will guide/advise me properly in my mail so that the set is repaired under warranty from Nokia Service Centre and faith of Nokia is sustainable in public or should I take another action through consumer court for repairing the set.

                              This is repeated complaint earlier in June'09 key 7 & 8 were not working and the handset was send to the company. Less than 3 months again the problem has occured.                                 i have nokia 3600 slide phone purchased on 23rd feb 2009.Earlier i am able to connect with internet or GPRS but after my baance was nil from that time i am not able to connect GPRS .And my GPRS areay activated from my vadafone service.

                                  I am a very early user of NOKIA handset and have a good experiance with my 6210, 7610, 6600, now two 6300 purchesed in the second half of year 2008. The products were very good but now the service by Nokia for first time fault in 6300 (IMEI-[protected]), I have a horrible experience which is pending for repair till date submitted by me at Priyacellcom vide above refered Job Sheet number despite many visits and calls. First I was refused stand by. When I called Mr. Parmod Nokia Manager at Gourgan on 24-03-09, I was offered standby which I redfused as I arranged the same at my own. Mr. Parmod took my details and said some one will contact. But no contact was there till 01-04-09. On calling him again on 02-04-09 I got calls from Jabalpur Nokia care from cell [protected] which again offered standby. When I refused I was told that replacement is being arranged. On 03-04-09 on getting call I again went to Priyacellcom but was given a other old 6300 set inplace of mine. On my refusel to take same now it has been promised that my set will be given on Monday i.e. 06-04-09. I view of above it is very clear that I am facing harrsement on the part of M/s Nokia who is taking housand of rupees for handsets but has no proper system to repair them despite the fact that It boasts of having Nokia care centers all over India. I request:-

                                  1. That please arrange that as per promise I got my handset back on 06-03-09 with proper repair.

                                  OR

                                  2. Brandnew handset or any other higher model may be offered to me for which I will pay difference of cost.

                                  OR

                                  3.Take back set for the value which Nokia think is of its sets with in warrenty period

                                  If still Nokia is not in a poistion then I am ready to give it back to Nokia free of cost for which a certificate may please be issued to me that you have received back the set and have paid me nothing.

                                  I request to solve this issue as requested above by 06-04-09 or otherwise it will be clear that Nokia is defaulting in service and I then may take help of Law to recover my financial losses, claim for compemnsation for harrsement, claims for deficient product and services given after words for which Nokia India Ltd will be fully responsible. All charges paid by me till date and after 06-03-09 for solution of this issue will have to paid by M/s Nokia India LTD.

                                  This is with regards to the replacement battery request made a couple of months back. After hearing that your discrepancy of selling low quality batteries with Nokia mobiles I had placed a request for a replacement battery for my father's mobile based on the instructions on your website.

                                  I got an approval for my request and was eagerly awaiting for the replacement battery.
                                  Neither did i receive the replacement battery nor did I receive a favourable reply from your end.
                                  This is ridiculous service from a reputed company like yours. If i dont get a reply a favourable reply from you in the next 24-48 hrs I will be forced to lodge a complaint with the higher officials and also bring this issue to the notice of the public and media.

                                  Sub:- Faulty Nokia 6300, Cheating and worst treatment by M/s Nokia India

                                  This is continuation to my earlier complaints regarding my Nokia-6300 which was swapped with old set by Nokia without my permission with warranty extended up to Feb-10 vide earlier job sheet number[protected]/090307/28 and was assured of new set if any problem comes in this one. As reported earlier and in feedback form, the problem of Network is on-off one. Now again the old problem of Headset not gets connected arise along with mal functioning of body cover. On 12-10-09 at 05-45 pm I went to Nokia care center M/s TVIAA India (earlier Priya cellcom) 415, Marhatal, Jabalpur and the in-charge told me to come on next day as the person to take care of the same was on leave. On 13-10-09, I again visited and deposited the handset with them vide Job-sheet number[protected]/091013/7 and collected repaired set on 14-10-09. I was told that body cover they can’t repair and set is ok now. I checked the headset it was working fine. On reaching home when I tried to charge the cell in night, I was shocked to see that now this set is not getting charged. I checked it with some one else’s charger but still the problem was same. Having lost faith with this Nokia care center on 15-10-09 at 1pm I went to Nokia care center at M/s Sapna telecom Dutt Appartement, Napier town , Jabalpur. After 15 Min Manager Sh. Jasbir Singh Ph number [protected] told me that set is badly damaged as:-
                                  1. The network section has liquid in it.
                                  2. The Charging port is damaged.
                                  3. The LCD button lid is missing.
                                  4. The main chip cover is missing.

                                  The problems at Sr. No. 3 & 4 are from day one when I got the set and same was admitted by Nokia manager at M/s TVIAA India but come to me as shock was problem number 1 and 2. The network section having liquid was never told me earlier and even in the report dated 14-10-09 which is not even I day old there is no such thing. So it appears that either they intentionally did not told me the same or they could not detect the same due to which my handset remained out of order most of time and 3 times for the same I visited Nokia carte center earlier too.

                                  The most shocking part of this story come when Mr. Jasbir singh told that no my phone which has warranty up to Feb-2010 is not covered under warranty due above 4 points and total charges will be Rs. 450/- and there after there is no guaranty or warranty that phone will work. When I asked to give this in writing, he first said no and later agreed to only above four problems in writing. When said just give that then he called some one on phone and after wasting 1&1/2 Hr told that system is not working and he can’t give anything in writing. I said just write manually these things then he refused that also and asked me to go to old Nokia care center.

                                  From this it is very clear that M/s Nokia first tortured me two moths by not repairing my earlier set, the cheated me by giving faulty set and now is defaulting in its legal duties of providing service to its customers.

                                  All this has not only forced me to spend my valuable time and money in solving my problem but the product is now absolutely useless to me. I will use this and all other earlier communications as proof of this in Honorable consumer court to file complaint against M/s Nokia for which I have already served a notice to you. I here by give you a last opportunity to solve my problem by Monday i.e. 19-10-09 falling which I will to law to get the things done legally along with compensation for harassment done to by M/s Nokia.

                                  This is with reference to the Nokia 7610 Supernova Phone which we purchased on 10/08/2009. The problem with the handset is that the phone menu scrolls up/down nonstop without the scroll keys. The phone has been send for repairs 4 times since the time we have bought it.

                                  Following are the details of the complaint launched with Nokia:
