[Resolved] Nokia India — Nokia phone Lumia 625 IMEI number : [protected] | |||
This is Arvind Kapur and I purchased Nokia Phone bill dated ...I am a regular user of Nokia and trusted Nokia phone even when the Nokia has lost market in smart phone to Samsung and other players. The phone set was having problem that it becomes blank suddenly and then i need to remove chip / reinsert, it start operating. Sometime touch screen was not working properly. I took the phone to Nokia service centre at Koramangala. Waited for 45 minutes, which is usual for my turn. The front desk lady informed that it is software update problem and they charge Rs. 300 for the software update. The Job sheet no. [protected] dated 30/08/14 from SAmvaradhi Technologies.. Even when i informed that it looks to be the problem of touch screen also, she goes on informing that no, it is software problem. She even informed that if the problem is not solved Rs. 300 will be refunded and phone will be repaired under warranty. When I revisited the service centre after 2 days, she started new story that I need to pay Rs. 3000 to change the touch screen and the behaviour of the team was bad. I understand that every person want to push the profitability of company, but you can't charge the user for manufacturing defects / software issue for a phone under warranty.
