I updated my profile on shine.com and I got a call from one Ms. Neha promising employment in gulf in citi group and barclays and she asked me to register online at nowemployment.in. When I went online she asked for a payment of rs. 3491 towards registration fees. Once I paid this my call got transferred to her senior Mr. Shankar who was supposed to verify my information. He further demanded Rs. 14k + saying this is company procedure .when I refused he started blackmailing me that unless I do this I will not get the interview call . I refused to budge and tried threatening him with police action. He then disconnected the call and refused to transfer to any other staff when I called again. I have lodged an email complaint against this site which surprisingly is still up and running with e commerce capability. Please beware of such fraudsters. Was this information helpful? |
