NPS — Getting payment gateway error on the NPS site for registration

I am getting error every time I am trying to check on NPS for my enrollment payment status "the response from payment gateway for the payment against acknowlegement number is awaited. we request you to wait for the retry payment to process the registration against the NPS". I am getting this error since morning. No help I am getting to proceed further.
