[Resolved] Nsdl E-Governance Infrastructure — delay in receiving tan number | |||||
I applied for tan number (Acknowledgement number – [protected]) on 30 january 2018 and received an email that they received the documents on 6 february 2018. However, i have still not got the approval email for the same, even after more than 15 days. The online tan application status portal shows the message that they haven't received the documents. I contacted on the customer care number on monday, 19 february, at 020 – 27218080 number and the executive told me that the documents are verified by nsdl and has been sent to income tax office. I have to use my tan number for a transaction on 26 february. Please tell me what can be done to get my tan as soon as possible or at least send a confirmation email stating my tan number.
