[Resolved]  Nsdl E-Governance Infrastructure — single pan allotted to two different persons

Dear sir,

I would like to draw you attention towards an unusual event of having the same pan card number bgspk5522n issued to two different persons.

This is in reference to the my pan card number bgspk5522n issued to me in 2009. I have been using this pan card number since 2009 and paying taxes under this pan.

During e-filing registration i got information that there is another person using the same pan number and he already linked their aadhar on same pan.

In this case, i wrote a letter to the income tax department and sent many emails and letter to nsdl and income tax commissioner. But did not get any satisfactory reply by nsdl and itd. It's going to complete approx 8 months but not considered yet by any department on this matter.

Only one time nsdl replied that your pan has been deactivated by itd but further update did not receive yet.
