NSDL — Online train ticket | |||||
We are trying to book from 28th June, 29th June & 30th June to Ernakulam on Kanyakumari Express a ticket for 28th October, but it does not allow it says "Booking not allowed as the booking date is outside reservation period. Today first thing in the morning at 9.00 am we tried booking and the tickets are wait listed to 58. Can you explain how this happend, there is no complain cell no also in irctc.co.in wherein we can book a complaint. Can we find a solution to this. This is a long route and I agree people all over India will be booking, but at this rate i think you need to put an extra train for longer routes. Was this information helpful? | |||||

Automatic birth allocation on online tickets is a havoc, I find whenever I book for my mom who is 70 years its always on upper birth, please stop this old people will not be able to climb, and there are less humans travelling since people don't have the courtesy to offer an old lady the birth below or sometimes its like they are also with young children and will not be able to share, Can something be done for this. I have tried all the options online, if we are 4 travelling its 2 upper birth and 2 middle birth. Kindly find a solution to this online problem where 55 and above upper birth should not accept and it should be a lower birth, and its only mom travelling with my younger kid also she gets an upper birth, and most of the journey she completes sitting down bend which gives a back ache.
