Guys,

I'm residing in the northern part of Chennai.I booked taxi for my brother's engagement function and clearly mentioned that we need Cab by 9AM.The guys in the phone agreed and he told by 9AM the cab will be available in your house and by 8AM we will let you know the driver details via SMS.I got the booking conformation SMS and I believed they will send driver details as informed.But the time passed 8 and it was 8:40AM but no information from their side.I just dialled for their board no, the guy who picked informed me that Cab will arrive in next 5 mins. Now the time is 9AM but i din receive any call or sms for the details about cab.I called them again, one lady picks and she checks the status and told sorry the cab is not available.I scolded for making the situation very worst and no option for me at the last moment.Then i got some private auto and managed.

My humble request is don't go for NTL these [censored]s guys is not fit for business and i really hate these guys.Bloody B******s have wasted my time and tensed me a lot at last moment.[censored]g Service NTL

I had booked call taxi service at 6.45pm to travel at 7 pm, Booking id cab no and driver details was sent via sms. (Cab no TN 25 Q5447). But till 7.30 cab not reached. Driver not attending the call. When called for ntl no proper response. I had made 10 and 5 calls to driver and ntl cc respectively. But no use, this is the act of irresponsible, i could not get cab till 9pm atlast i went by auto.
To the public. My general opinion dont believe on ntl call taxi and fix your appointments. You may lose your meeting, function etc..

    I had the most horrible experience of my life when I had taken a taxi whose cab details was as follows:
    Cab No. TN25AB3488, & Driver Mobile No. [protected], which I availed on 16th April, 2013.
    Well, it made me think was I in the safe city of Chennai or I was travelling at night in Delhi. It all began as the AC failed just after I had just finished one - fourth of my journey. I talked with the call center and made it clear that since most of the trip i was travelling without AC I would give him less than the meter recordings. Let me clear it that I was travelling from Tambaram to the Secretariat at Beach Road. I made my intentions quite clear with the NTL Office. I am also new to the city of Chennai with limited knowledge of the local language. When I reached my destination, I paid as I had told it to the Office and the representative from the Office was online when the driver of the cab started acting strange. he did not allow me to get out of the cab. he locked the car, and I dialled the office no. again as the office people kept disconnecting it. And when i made my point clear and tried to disembark from the cab, the driver pulls on the sleeves of my top and moves his cab. I had to jump out of the car, and sadly enough the by-standers did nothing but to watch what was happening.He would not allow me to go to the Cops and was asking me to step in his cab again so that he could take me to the Cops. Thankfully, one of my student was around and I called him to come over to the place where the whole scene was taking place. He came with the Cops and helped me out of the situation. But as soon as the driver saw the Cops he changed his tune and said that I was paying him less. I I made the matter clear with the Cops and made the Cops speak with the NTL Office. Ironical, but true when I was seeking help the representative of the NTL was on line but he disconnected when he smelt trouble.I called the office the next day to complain about the whole situation but they failed to execute.
    Sadly speaking I am a die-hard supporter of South India, especially Chennai, because I hav spent almost 6 years there, but I am doubtful whether is it as safe before?
    well this is a lesson for us all, that no matter where, we must be vigilant and not let our guard down at any time.Never argue with the driver or make driver angry till you have reached your destination and you are safe and sound out of the vehicle.Common sense.

      I called NTL call taxi[protected] on Saturday, 24th Feb at 3:40pm to make a booking for 25th feb at 4:30am from Triplicane to the airport since I had to catch a flight at 6:15pm flight. I was told the booking is confirmed and that the booking ID will be sent to me by sms and the driver details will come 20 mins before the booking time the next morning.

      I had not recieved a confirmation SMS and I called NTL again at 6:19pm on 24th Feb and was told the system is down but was given the confirmation number A[protected] over the phone.

      The next morning, I had received no SMS or call from the driver, When I called NTL again at 4:20am (which is 10 mins before the expected time) I was told by an agent named Balaji that no cabs are available and that they were sorry. I was amazed that despite a confirmation and no intimation from their end they are informing me after I call to ask what was going on.

      To make matters worse, I receive this SMS at 4:30am (They claim their system is down for all other SMS's but this one was very prompt): "Dear Mr/Ms HARISRI as requested by you we confirm the cancellation of your Booking ID A[protected]. NTL Call Taxi[protected],[protected]"

      This was NOT right since I DID NOT CANCEL the taxi, it was their sheer inability and unprofessionalism in not being able to provide the service to their customer. At 4:30am I had no recourse but to request my uncle to take me to the airport to make the flight on time.

      I again called and spoke to the same agent Balaji at 4:41am, who admitted that it was their fault and despite several attempts to speak to a supervisor I was not transferred.

      I have send the following complaint on their feedback page on their website:

      I have had the worst experience with your abysmal taxi service. I have a. 6am flight and no taxi despite booking a day in advance. Moreover I only find out about the lack of taxi availability 10 mins before the 4:30am booking when I called at 4:20. No reason given other than "not available, sorry madam"

      Also I promptly got an SMS saying I have cancelled the booking when I did NO such thing. It was your own inability to fulfill the requirement.

        Dear sir,

        i m praveen , i had booked the ntl call taxi on[protected] around 4:30pm from choolaimedu to chennai central railway station. I had informed them around 6:00pm i needed the tevera vehicle, they had booked the need and informed me that around 5:30 pm booking id as well as drivers no: will be sent through mobile. I waited till 5:40pm but there is no response, so i once again call them and told that no id or phone no received. They suddenly told me that there was no booking done. I was shocked that 7:00pm is train i want to go .........what a poor response from ntl call taxi persons................. i request everybody please dont book this NTL call taxi i[censored] r very urgent .........they wont respond................or...........they wont book..............

          i had booked a cab at 14:20 on 04/12/12 for 18:30 pick up, till 20:00 after calling them several time they failed to respond at 20:15 a driver called up and told it will take another 20 min please beware of this call taxi service do not fall prey for their advt

          I to had a worst experience with the NTL call taxi. I would have missed the flight for their mistake. Their response to the customer is very bad. Please do not be driven by their Advertisment. My advice avoid NTL call taxi...
          I have booked cars in NTL call taxi for the last 3 months... all the trips were perfect... only once the taxi was late... but wen i called 3000 3000 they spoke very kindly and apologised for the delay... i dont think the customer care speaks arrogant as posted by other persons... even the car is neat, , comes correctly at perfect time.. the tariff is good... even if driver is drunk or behaving rude u can complaint the customer care they cancel the driver for 2 months... i have heard from my frds also that NTL taxi service is excellent...even if the driver cancels the trip that is assigned to him... the customer care stops further trips to him... dont get driver personal numbers and book a taxi.. if the driver is not near the place from where u book.. surly he wont come, , , when booking through customer care it sends through GPS to the taxi nearby... also once when my frd booked... due to network pblm, the driver didnt get the pick up msg... but my frd receiveed his number... when my frd called as it was late.. the driver apologised for the pblm and took him quickly to he airport.. NTL is the best call taxi... i have had worst experiences with fastrack always.. whenever i book to pick up from railway station they ont show up... but NTL always come to station before the train arrives... Milion dots costs more for airport trips.. I suggest everyone to use NTL always/...
          I booked a NTL Call taxi on 26th at 7.50 am for pickup to koyembadu from porur at 6.30 pm and I got a booking id and confirmation.
          At 5.50 pm I got an sms with cab and driver details. When I called the driver at 6.15 pm he said that he has been assigned to different customer and asked me to call the office.
          When I called them they cooly replied that “No taxi available in your area.”
          Finally I went to koyembedu by catching an Auto.

          NTL call taxi is useless. Normally I use fasttrack and always they are on time.
          First time tried NTL and had an worst experience.
          NTL call taxi is very bad.PLEASE DONT USE NTL CALL TAXI.
          We booked call taxi on package basis and the pickup time is 9:00 AM.At 08:55 they are saying that they cant send taxi due to technical failure.
          This affected us a lot.

          Please use fasttrack they are too good.Keep their promises.NTL is such a worst TAXI.
          I am very disappointed by NTL call taxi. I had made an online booking with them for pickup. The driver never came and I ended up having to take alternate transportation. I also had difficulty connecting with 30003000 number because of extra call volume (or lesser agents). Later that day I gave them one more chance and called for dropoff. Again, the driver did not show up.

          I will never ever use NTL
          WORST EVER SERVICE .We booked a taxi on 14 th july to go over to a function on 15 th morning the pick was @ 7.30 A.M till 7.45 no one turned up when we called they cooly said no taxi but we requested that we had a attend a function they said they will arrange one within 30 minutes even after 45 min no one came neither there was a call, then we called the reply was NO taxi . worst ever service, I sent a mail to their office to so called nodal officer no reply till date. all bogus, with advt hype, if you have to go some where urgent dont beleive NTL NO TO NTL.
          Worst of Worst Customer Service...! Dont become a victim of NTL... Absolutely waste of time...!
          Really a very worst and poor customer service from. I struggled a lot with my baby in the rain because of this worst service. Avoid NTL
          I did a Car booking on 4th November through MakeMyTrip. My Car Booking ID is "NC[protected]". I chose NTL Taxi for Drop till Chennai

          Airport. It was written clearly on the website about the 8% discount NTL Taxi is providing to customers.

          The problem started right from the begining where the taxi driver was not intimated about the pick up. I needed to call NTL Taxi

          repeatedly and told them about the MakeMyTrip Car booking ID. Finally the taxi came. The NTL Cab number is "TN 18 Q 7627".

          On the way to Airport, the driver told us that he will charge extra Rs. 70 for parking charges in Airport. I told him that we did not pay

          anything last time when we were getting dropped to the airport. He was very rude and argued with me. I called up NTL Taxi number and told

          them the same thing. Then came the 8% Discount matter. I told the NTL Customer representative to convey the discount thing to driver. I

          put my phone call in speaker mode & gave it to driver. NTL Customer representative had a word with the driver, but the driver was not

          listening and argued with him the NTL representative. After 5 minutes, the NTL Customer representative told me that he will give me a call

          later (NTL people did not call me anytime).

          Finally we arrived at the chennai airport. The bill came to Rs. 320. It was written that for drop to airport (within 5 minutes) is FREE.

          I told the driver about the 8% discount, for which he started shouting there in airport and started yelling at me. I told, i will call up

          NTL number, for which he started to pick my luggage and put it back in taxi and run away with it. I tried to call police, but no one was

          there at that time. He started telling me that, are you going to give me full money or not. He also told that I have to give extra Rs. 70

          for parking (which should not be there for initial 5 minutes). When i started asking him question, he started to raise his hand and tried

          to hit me. I was with a 4 year old kid and he started crying seeing driver behavior. I gave him Rs. 400/- and he ran away with it without

          giving me the balance amount. I tried to Call NTL customer representative, but it seems they were not bothered and told me to call a

          different number. I tried calling many numbers of NTL taxi, but no one was ready to take my complaint.

          The Driver behavior was very bad i would suggest to stay Away from NTL Taxi.

          On Nov 1, 2014 I was booked the NTL cab at 1 pm for 6.30pm pick up. Till 6.30 I didn’t get cab details, Whenever I call them people say wait “ Cab is On d way” . I and my family member are standing on d road in rain. When I call them swathi @ 7pm told cab is breakdown so we schedule other cab it will be take more 30min, I told to give senior person so call transfer to complain disk Mr Yuvaraj took the call t and same think and wait till there give driver number . His TL Hari took call and apology for mistake at 7.30 I was clear told I won’t cut the call till driver number share, at 7.34 number was share to me, And I told I won’t pay cab fare because I booked the cab at 6.30pm and reached at 7.45pm and I was call the sometime and last call was took 48min fare of my calls, So I won’t pay cab fare then hari was disagree with that and at last agree for discount of 10%, then I call cab driver he told allocation change to anna nagar there cancel the my location . So call back them again and ask about cancelation, Again same process waiting junior took call and transfer to complain disk and then to hari at 7.55pm, Hari told because of driver Is not ok with discount 10% cab was cancel

          Kindly tell me this was you handle consumer wait for 2hour on road with my family

          I am very disappointed by NTL call taxi. I had made an booking on 12/12/2014 for pickup at 8: 00PM. I got cab details and but driver never showed up, when I contacted them, twice they sent different cab details, but the driver never came and I ended up having to take alternate transportation.


          I am very unhappy no one even bothered to check with me on what happened to customer, they even don't have basic courtesy to acknowledge their mistake.

          I have decided not use NTL Taxi in future because of their service is not reliable.

          I almost missed my flight because of NTL TAXIS... I had my flight at 5 am on Sunday and we have placed a booking prior on Saturday at7 pm and the cab driver never turned up. I had to ask my neighbour early morning and asked him for a drop I felt so bad disturbing people at this time. Its all due to NTL taxis and when we called the Customer service team, they keep on sending the same driver number and he never bothered to even picked up the call.
          Worst service and really pathetic specially of you have a flight to catch.
