The driver first showed the MERU bar code which in my mobile showed failed payment. Then later the Driver Gautam Sah gave his personal bar code and payment went through successfully.br...

Money Refund

I sabyasachi Badajena had traveled from Rajiv Gandhi International airport, Hyderabad to CSI Wesley cementry, trimulghery on 25.07-2021 via meru cab with driver Badri, contact number : [protected].
After reaching at destination my payment Rs 1200 via phonepay couldn't be transferred twice (1200+1200 =2400) with the status showing "under processing". So paid the driver Rs. 1200 in cash.
The driver assured to return Rs. 2400/-...

No receipt for a booking

This is the second time I had bad experience with Meru cab service.


I had booked via telephone booking, yesterday a cab for Domestic airport drop for 5.30 am today. I got the sms immediately about the booking confirmation

Respected Sir, Today date 15/04/2024 at 2110hrs Me and my son were at Traffic signal near the PVR SANGAM CINEMA. There a Meru Taxi Driver He was continuously making making hons even when he was 500mtr away from us. He used abusive words for me ans my son and misbehavior with us that person had the audacity that he told me "do whatever you want I am not scared of anyone" Just like. a Criminal man. Meru Taxi Cab. No. DL1RTC5477 (Photo attached) This type of behaviour should not be tolerated at any cost. I urge the Police to take strick action against that man.

    Meru cab in Mumbai, driven by Durga Prasad MIshra seriously overcharged from me on March 11 from my travel from Terminal 2, Mumbai to hotel Taj Lands End, Bandra. The normal charge is around Rs 250 for this distance but he somehow managed to show Rs 993 on his phone and forced me to pay this amount. He created scene at the hotel when i protested. But i had to pay to avoid the more scene.
    The number of this driver is [protected]. I am hereby attaching the receipt given by him to substantiate my claim.
    Your are requested to refund the overcharged money to the tune of Rs 750 to me at the earliest.

        I had a horrible experience with Meru Cabs last night when I was trying to come from Hyderabad Airport to my residence. My company had booked a cab for me but because of issues with my mobile number I could not contact the cab driver. I booked via Meru Cabs and put my luggage in the cab after which I got an email from my company that the cab driver was waiting. I wanted to cancel my ride with Meru Cabs as the car did not even start from the airport. However the cab driver created a nuisance saying that the trip OTP was shared with him and he would not cancel . He said I would have to pay Rs 895 towards charges for 25 km drive. I cancelled my company cab and went ahead with Meru, considering that I would have to pay Rs 895. When I reached home I got an invoice for Rs 896 but the cab driver demanded Rs 1200 and created a nuisance again. Since it was 3 am I had no choice but to pay this amount to the driver. The highly unprofessional behaviour of this driver and Meru Cabs is disgusting, and the demands for additional money without any invoice are unacceptable. Hence I am raising this complaint. I am attaching the invoice I received to my personal email id.

          We had booked cab MH02FX2551 for Thane from T2 yesterday night. The driver adamantly took a long route despite our protests. The normal route is via Sakinaka, Powai, Eastern express Highway. But this driver took us to Kalina, Kurla, Ghatkopar and then to Eastern express Highway. This resulted in a ride of extra 10 Km. The regular fair is around 800 Rs while we were charged Rs 120 + Rs.1653=1773 almost double.I demand a refund in this case

            I have booked a meru cab from Delhi airport terminal 3 to Nasirpur. The counter staff there told me that amount will be 500. At the same time Uber showed an amount of Rs 469 to the same destination. As there is not much difference I picked up meru cab. After reaching the destination the driver told me to pay Rs 674. When I questioned about the difference in amount told by the counter staff and him, he told that it's metered bill. Really looted me by saying the less amount first

              Today I booked Meru cab from T2 Mumbai to Thakur house, Akurli Road, Kandivali East.During I have paid 120 and it was said to Taxi bill will as per meter Reading.But after reaching destination bill generated it was Rs 831.However there was Nil traffic today and it took only 20 -30 minutes to reach my destination.The fare was overcharged .I am regular flier .I have never paid so much high bill to ola and any other taxi even in pick hours.
              I think this is very disgusting and company like meru is cheating the customer and false bill is being generated.
              There is not issue if overcharging of Rs300 more, but this fraud with customer.If my complain us not resolved within 3 days, I may go to consumer forum
              What is the basis of high charging of bill.

                मी सोमेश्वर मंदिर निगडी पुणे-411044 जवळ सेक्टर क्रमांक 22 मिलंद नगर परिसरात राहतो. रात्रीच्या वेळी रस्त्यावर आणि गल्लीत अनेक भटके कुत्रे आहेत. रात्रीच्या वेळी तो मार्ग ओलांडणे खूप कठीण होते कारण सर्व कुत्रे त्या व्यक्तीवर भुंकायला लागतात. इतक्या कुत्र्यांच्या गटात कोणी अडकल्यास ते प्राणघातक ठरू शकते. जवळपास 8 ते 10 कुत्रे आहेत. ते मध्यरात्री भुंकणे आणि रडणे सुरू करतात जे खूप त्रासदायक आहे आणि परिसरातील गाड्यांच्या शिठ फाडतात रहिवाशांच्या आरोग्यावर विपरित परिणाम करते.

                  I, Gaurav Issar, landed at International airport Terminal 2 on 18th July 2023, where after clearing customs I went to Meru counter for booking a cab.
                  At around 1500hrs the person at the counter told me I've to pay 120₹ cash for convenience and around 600₹ for the cab.
                  I gave him 1000₹ (two 500₹ notes).
                  I was talking to my friend so I didn't noticed that he has given me only 380₹ back.
                  When I reached my destination the cab driver asked for 609₹ and then I realised that the operator at counter has robbed me of 500₹.

                  Please if you can then return the money by Gpay or Paytm on [protected]
