I purchased around 5 products on their app recently. Once they were delivered and i used them, i left a review on all the products. For 4 of them, i gave great comments while one of them i genuinely didn't like because it burnt my eyes quite a lot when i applied (It was an undereye cream). So i mentioned this in my review for that cream while giving it only 2 stars. They give a disclaimer that the comments go through a quality check and are posted only after verification. Got a mail after about a week or two that the 4 reviews were successfully posted. No mail about the 5th one. There was nothing vulgar or defamatory in my comment for it to not have passed the verification test. This means that they simply don't post the negative reviews (Some are posted so that this scheme doesn't become too obvious) and only pick the positive ones. This is extremely misleading to consumers!! Especially since it can actually cause someone harm in a major way! Was this information helpful? |
