Ola Cabs / Ani Technologies — Charging a higher amount for an auto ride | |||||
I am K.Siddharth, a student of Class 12, and a regular Ola auto user, residing in Chennai. Since my regular school van driver was unwell, therefore I had to use an Ola auto to reach my school, on 26.12.16. My school is nearly 3.5 kms away from my house. When I reached my school, the driver asked me an amount of Rs. 50. I was in a hurry to reach my school on time and I didn't think twice, so I gave him the amount he asked for. When I returned back to my house, I was shocked to notice that the bill amount had specified that the cost for the ride was just Rs. 29. Is this why we believe in and access the Ola service rather than the auto drivers in the nearby stand? Please make sure that you fire the driver and that you refund the amount of Rs. 21 that the driver cheated me, back. Thank you.
