Ola Cabs / Ani Technologies — Looted money in Desperate Situation | |||||
On the night of august 3, My grandmother died at a town called UNA in south-west Gujarat. My mother who was in Ahmedabad needed to go there (Max 354 km by google maps). Since it was late into the night, no State transport/Private buses were available. No trains were available until morning. So she opted for Ola Outstation cab. Estimate showed INR 6289 for a round trip journey (360 km*2) of 1 night. Having no choice, my mother opted for that although she wasn't going to come back (ORN[protected] Cab arrived at around 3 AM. And the driver was decent throughout. My Aunt and Uncle also joined with my mom and so they were 3 passengers in an ola mini. When they reached Una, next morning Ola showed the total bill of 10300 with total 1177 km! There is no way that trip could have been that long. (Even if you consider round trip journey, 588 km is definitely not the distance between the two destinations) My uncle tried to argue but considering a tragic situation he paid the full amount and let the driver leave. I sincerely request OLA to investigate this and refund me the money that was charged extra. Was this information helpful? | |||||
