Ola Cabs / Ani Technologies — never requested ola postpaid yet being harassed by ola collection team | |||
Here is my case: I tried to book a ride from hotel allahabad regency to airport on 17th feb'19. However every driver kept on calling me and asking me to pay 900 rs. Instead of 650 and they asked it in cash. I called ola same time to file a complaint (Please refer to recorded call from my #). Finally one driver agreed to pick me for rs. 650 in cash and i agreed. Please understand that i didn't know i had ola postpaid activated on my account because i never applied for it or consented for it. I paid approximately rs. 650 in cash to the driver and ran for my flight as i was getting late due to this fiasco. I didn't get chance to notice that same amount has been debited from my ola account as well. I started getting collection calls from ola about 2 month after the incident. Since then i have been trying to get help from ola customer care to resolve the issue. However, i am being harassed and blackmailed into paying this amount. Ola has blocked my account, preventing further rides, causing me to be stranded in a hotel in indore on 8th jan'19. Upon talking to multiple 'escalation supervisors', all i here is that they can't do anything and i have to pay this amount because ola is incapable of verifying if i paid to the driver in cash or not. They are not taking in account the call that i made on 17th feb'19 to file the complaint about same issue. Their only way to verify it is asking the driver if got paid twice or not. Also, they are blackmailing me by forcing legal actions if i didn't the amount that i don't owe to them. Was this information helpful? | |||
