Raju CSethuraman Raju CSethuraman 😲I had booked OLA share at Banaswadi on 27/06/17 at about 9.30.AM. (OSN[protected]. OLA MINI was not available. This was after a OLA driver cancelled abruptly after 15 minutes. The driver no is [protected]. we (2) boarded the taxi on share basis at 10.11 AM. The driver confirmed the trip to my house at Marathahalli . One lady who was sitting was dropped at Ulsoor or so. One man was dropped near Garuda Mall. To our DISMAY, the driver went towards to pick up some at Richmond Road, instead of moving towards Domlur side. After picking up him, the driver told that he was to be dropped T IIM, Bannerghatta Road. We asked him to drop somewhere towards Marathahalli, but he told that possibly after dropping him, he will get a trip towards Marathahalli side. We told him that something was wrong and he may get a booking towards Banashankari. EXACTLY the same happened. One man boarded and he was to be dropped at JP Nagar Metro. Another lady boarded and she was to be dropped near Banashankari side. The cab went on and on. I told that the driver that we were ready to sit till night. The cab went near Brigade Millenium and was heading beyond JP Nagar 7th Phase. Several times the driver confirmed that my destination was Marathahalli. Even now my trip shows my house address as destination In the meanwhile the driver talked to their care centre and also asked me to call customer care. He and I got the same reply. That I will be dropped within the stipulated time ie. 1 ½ hours. Whereas there was no such estimated time information at the time of booking. The 2 persons who took the call first did not comprehend a thing of what was the issue. Once the driver talked to his company, may be something went on. I was abruptly dropped in JP Nagar. It was.12.35pm. For 2 hours and 24 mins. We were taken away and away from our destination. Once the driver understood that something was amiss, he suddenly closed our trip at JP Nagar. The 3rd person who picked up the call possibly had by this time understood that there was a glitch, told he will take a complaint and I got a refund od Rs. 205/-. I GOT A mail from them apologizing and informing that there was a technical glitch. SUCH A NIGHTMARISH EXPERIENCE. Then I take a UBER and reached home at 1.30 PM. OLA takes money in advance, and the driver simply repeats that he has to follow the route given by them. In case we want to get down, money is not refunded. I think that good sense prevails and their customer care people understand atleast genuine complaints. Some of my friends suggest me to lodge a police complaint and some to file a case.
