[Resolved] Ola Cabs — Double Payment against a single ride CRN [protected]
Booked a ride on 1th January 2021. Made payment via Phone pay during the ride, but the driver denied the receipt of payment. I have checked on phone pay and in my bank account amount has been debited, but the same has not been received by driver and ola app was still showing payment pending for this ride. After waiting for some time for confirmation from ola and driver and my trip ended, since driver did not received payment, I had made another payment of Rs. 246/- via same mode, ie., Phonepay thinking of it as some technical issue and was expecting refund of first payment. Since I did not get any refund I had written to ola support team on 13th January asking for a refund. From 13th January to till date 16th Feb, I had written multiple emails, reminders to help on this issue, but no one bothered to respond with proper resolution. Complaint ticket numbers are[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected]. All these tickets have been closed without any resolution.
Phone pay confirmed that payment was successful and shared the Merchant order ID: 1d3df5e8-d4a5-4071-be37-b60ce06aab1f.
