Ola Cabs — Peak time charge charged without intimation | |||||
On 17th march, i took an ola cab from vsant vihar in delhi to sector 56. When i confirmed the ride, the app did not show me that there would be peak charge levy. When i got down, they charged me a 1.4x charge. This was automatically deducted from my ola money wallet. I have written four emails to ola and made one phone call to their customer care centre. My only submission to them is if they believe that it was indeed a peak time ride and if i had confirmed the 1.4x charge, they should give me evidence thereof. I have asked them to send me the log or screenshots to substantiate their point . Even after four emails, they have not been able to clarify their stand with hard evidence. I am extremely aggrieved by their evidence-poor line of argument and in the event they cannot prove that i am wrong and they are right or that i had indeed agreed to 1.4x charge, they ought to refund me the difference money.
