I took a trip on Ola cab on the 23rd of Oct from the Bengaluru airport to home, and paid the driver is cash rs.1178, as he requested for the same. My understanding was that once a trip is done, and once I had paid, ideally, on the closure of the trip, the payment details will get updated. However, now Ola is asking me to make the payment again, as they are unable to trace the payment made to the driver.
I have written them umpteen mails requesting for a resolution, or someone to call me, so i can explain, and they can give the right resolution. However, everytime, I get responses...which seem to me are more automated responses, with no one trying to understand the issue. I am concerned that if this is not closed, I will be double charged during my next trip.
The amount is not small, and all I asking Ola to do is to make the necessary update, or take action against the driver if he has not reported the payment that was made. However, all they have helped with is to make me go around in circles...with no other action taken from their side.
I want them to correct their system, and not have this amount reflected against me.
