[Resolved] Olx India — Advance amount of 44000 transferred but the seller turned out to be fraud | |||||
My husband wanted to buy a second hand car.He saw the add of Hyundai i20 posted in OLX.It was of 2011 model and seller was selling it for 310000.When my husband called seller, he told the car is in Bangalore airport and the owner had to fly to dubai for some reason.He told both are doctors.And a lady who works in airport parking section is going to handle the procedures to sell car.She sent account details to my husband and asked to deposit money in Canara Bank.My husband deposited the amount in Canara Bank, New Tippasandra road branch Bangalore.After that amount was deposited, seller asked him to send another 25 k for some other procedures on taking that car from airport since it was parked there from a month.My husband was suspicious and asked her to meet.The lady refused to meet him and we got to know that we were duped.Please help us in recovering that money.Its our hard earnt money Link of olx add: https://www.olx.in/item/good-condition-120-hyundai-for-sale-ID15v3SD.html#ea8d4cb722 Was this information helpful? | |||||

Similar Incident happen with us I was looking for a second hand vehicle in Gandhinagar and came across the advertisement he said he is in CRPF at airport ticket checking and has been transferred to Delhi and want to sell his vehicle he asked to Deposit 1500 for receipt next day he called me and asked for additional 53000 the sum was 20, 000 but he managed to manipulate that this is this charge that and will be refunded for sure. Today i have to got delivered neither I got delivery of vehicle not I got my immediate refund he said 21 days will be there for processing your fund. But who knows why will happen after 21 days.
