Hello i saw a add on olx for honda activa by person name. He give his contact number.
After having chat he says he is from indian army and provide the bilke details pics of bike
After that he insisted me to pay30000/- for army parcel and postman will deliver it to my current location.

After making me lot of convince in name of indian army and soldiers.
I payed him12500/- as the requested account is also saying army transport after that he said it will deliver by evening. After that a guy called in name of army delivery post man and asked me to pay the remaining money before to get delivered.
After that both start convening me to do payment. I will pay remaining amount 12500 after pay total amount ur delivery is too late so late charge 12100

My name is suresh, yesterday i have seen a post of selling scooty activa 5g at rs.37.500, rc owner is nitin jain he belongs to hyderabad, some one by name vikas, tell his name as nitin jain cheating all. He is cheating by telling as indian army officers (Captain) and he is from jammu and kashmir and his wife uses the scooter in hyderabad.
When he called me he spoked well but not good at english. He said scooty is in shamshad international airport, i will parcel to your location. Deal is done by 35000 final, he told me to send 3000 for security, but i told after receiving the scooter i will send you 35000, yesterday i have googled about the scooty, everything is perfect, he is having fake aadhaar card. Adhaar address is of madya pradesh state. That guy is fraud and he deleted the post from olx.

I didn't loose any money right now.

Suggestions: to people of olx i say don't believe anyone, after receiving the product only, transfer the money.

I am a user of olx india, have been posting ads in house rents and properties sale
Etc. The website is apparently being managed from india.

I repost the ad everytime but its getting rejected... I even complained to the customer care but no replies yet...
It takes lot of time to prepare ad and also to maintain n no of ads
I am thinking quikr is way more easier and user friendly than this but this olx is like this

I request to take immediate steps and get restored my ads which i have had posted using my precious time.

After that he insisted me to pay 5000 for army parcel and postman will deliver it to my current location.

After making me lot of convince in name of indian army and soldiers.
I payed him 5000 as the requested account is also saying army transport.

After that he said it will deliver by evening. After that a guy called in name of army delivery post man and asked me to pay the remaining money before to get delivered.
After that both start convensing me to do payment. Finally when asked you are a fraud, they agreed and said that you feel less pain as you get free in less amount.

Today i was serching for bike, i found a person selling dio bike for 27k around, i spoke to him, he said he is indian army soldier, he himself predicted as a soldier and send his some details like pan card adhar card driving licence etc. His name pramil kumar first he said me to pay 2000 for delivery i thought indian army won't cheat so i sent, aftr 1 hr they send me a indian army postal service bill from indian army camp palavaram, thn they are asking 12000 as initial amount to indian postal courier after tat only i know they are fradu so i dint send,... Actual i need my money back so kindly help me and tack that pramil kumar and punish him..

Yesterday i came across an ad of Activa RJ14JD6530 (when when later cheked was a bike no registered in name of Mohd Jawed)resale on olx as i wanted to buy it for my daughter i called that person his name was Ravi Kumar Prajapati . he told me he is an army offier currently posted in indore and has been posted at the borders so urgently wanted to sell his activa. our deal was finalized in 15000 plus the transportation charges which i agreed upon. ihe asked to send my id proof and my adress and told that ur activa will be delivered at ur door step which i thought will be ok . he the called to ask 2300 for gate pass which will be refunded as it comes at our door which i paid then after an hour he again called and asked for more 3199 which will be again refunded as per army rules after a bit of convincing i agreed and paaid that amount then in the morning the delivery boy called me and said to pay 7199 for interstate pass after a bit convincing by the divery person and ravi i agreed to pay the amount . then after 2 hrs he again called and asked for 9199 as gst charge which after a long argument i paid . then after an hr he called again and asked for 11199 more as security which after along and heated argument i paid again . then after half n hr he again demanded for 15199 which after a lot of convinging by a group of their people i paid again then within 5 mins he called again and asked for more 18199 as late delivery charges which i refused to pay then he said that then ur vehicle will not be deliver which i said that is a fraund And did not paid . they said now ur money will be refunded after 45 days i[censored] dont pay. which i agreed
till the evening wheni didnt paid they called again and said that we are sending u a qrl scan it and ur money will be refunded. which i refused to scan and said i ll complain against u then they told me dat nobody could even touch den do whatever u want to do.
now i have be cheated very badly in nAme of indian army i really wish that the authorities should take aproper action to stop these type fraud people to fool normal middle class people like me .

So plzz help me from this problem plzzz

Its a chain of frauds they will make you fool after getting first payment from you then they will give you fake letter then another person will also ask for money after then he will give you another fake letter and that is the person who again charge you the money. So beware of these goons.

Let us all file the case against them to stop this loot.

They have more then 100 ads on olx.

This complaint is from july 2018 and i know its too late now to submit this but shrikant cisf was selling me samsung galaxy s9 and i he told me to pay some token amount and then he would dispatch the parcel from gwalior and i started paying him and i think i must be the first target to give him an amount of 23000rs without recieving the parcel as i was eagerly waiting for the cellphone and wanted to gift it to my brother.
I apologize that the thing i've done is extremely wrong i should've complained it when all of this happened but i was afraid of doing so.
Can you help me now?

Olx army fraud he put one mobile and i asked him how much money he said 7000 and he asked deliver charges in advance 750 rs i gave 500 next day delivery guy called me and informed me to call owner and i called he said send 6500 rs i said i have only 3000 rs i will send will you give your parsal he said send another 3500 your parsal will receive within 10 min abd i send 3500 and he said send security amount 4150 and i said i don't have that much money please refund my money i said he is not responding

The olx india now is flooded with fraudsters and scammers, especially recently on the covid-19 time, and customers get duped 1000% more than normal days, and the olx support system now running like a worst mechanism ever.

They will never take any action even if we sent them a tons of proofs on scammers/frauds, they never read it, just send an text message too.

If we send any issue regarding account creation (Purely technical) they will send as a text saying "go and file fir", hence more and more scammers are now finds olx as a wealthy catch!!!

So vever expect any positive support from them, even if you send them 100 times the complaints on fraud/scammers they will just reply u something else and no action will be taken by them.

So its better to keep away from olx india now or until the support system comes in an effective way.

He said he is in Indian army in Allahabad and his name is Akilesh Kesarwani and he first he ask for courier charge rs 3120 and after few hours he again call and ask for asleep charge rs 4210 and said this will be subtracted from the coast of the bike and on second day courier boy call and said i will reach to you in 1 hours 20 minutes and first you have to send money to on Gps Rs7250 and on that day i saw about frauds on google so i said i will not send you money i am coming to you give your current location he said no i will not tell so i call to bike seller he said yes you you have to send money to on Gps otherwise bike will return to me so i said no i will not give so he start giving gaali and cut the phone and after few hours he again call and said sorry and asking Bank account number and said i will send you money back a so i said ok but tommorow.
On next i call to bike seller and start asking for gps charge so i said i will not send i am sending my men to you please give your current address and he will give you money and take the bike then he said no i will not tell you my current address cut the phone and block the number.
