One of my account was blocked. No warnings nothing. Till date i don't have an idea why was it banned. I continued with my other phone number. Even that's blocked when i referred the first phone number. Insane. Why will i use this app? I am a buyer looking for some products. Hope this is not a military site, where secrecy is o[censored]tmost importance

    I became a victim on 4 Jan 2020 by a olx user named thomas. I was selling office chairs for 30000 and he saw my phone no from olx and called me . We had done the deal for 20000. Then he told ne that have you ever used a swipe machin payment method. As i was not aware about it so i said no and he contacted me on whatsapp and sent a QR code with 1 rupee.. he told me to scan the qr in your phone pe and you will get 1 rupee... It is just for...

    I saw a iphone se on olx, it was priced about 6000.I called Him and he told he will give it for 4000. He sent photos of phone. I got doubt on him. He told he is from Indian army and he had profile of Indian army man.when I said I believe you, he told send me parcel amount, I will send phone..after checking phone send money.i told my friend to send him 200 rupees.Then he sent some photos of Indian army parcel department(I don’t know whether it is or not) and he told me to pay 1800.when I asked why should I pay now he told 50% I have to pay.So he told some how manage to pay 1000 rupees.i asked my friend to pay 1000 rupees. He told it will reach by 6 pm. Then one of my friend told and sent this link. So I started to google I got same photos of army man with same name in
    YouTube also.So I got to know he is a fraud.His actual name is Mohan Kumar.
    This is his number[protected]. Please do something sir.I want my money back.his google pay number is [protected]

      He is fraud, he told that he is sending parcel pay the money,
      Now after I paid 17, 775 Rs which is more than amount of mobile, He refused to send and now not picking up phone..
      I saw already one complaint on this site about him. I paid money through paytm. And done multiplt transactions on different numbers.
      Took my money please help me to get back

        Olx has suspended my olx account which i had created with a mobile number.
        There is no any proper reason of suspending me.
        I do not think that i had violated their terms and conditions.

        They have banned my mobile number.

        I contacted the customer care number but the person did not tell me the exact reason of banning my number.

        Kindly resolve this issue.

          I was order i phone x mobile from express marketing but they deliver me duplicate other mobile and i paid the amount before getting product. They were said that if the product is duplicate or any ther issue during delivery they will refund the amount in 24 hrs but now they are not refunding amount. There employee also talk with me in bad words and said that he dont refund. So please take action on them and requst you to help me for refunding. Please.

                I posted an ad for sell of steel cupboard. I received a call from so called Rahul (Mob No [protected]) I insisted for cash payment. In spite of this he asked me to accept payment through UPI Paytm and instantly sent a QR code on WhatsApp asking me to scan it to receive payment. I refused to do so. He was insisting that he had sent Rs 2000 and said that press the pay button. He further said that if I do not do so he would lodge a complaint with police. I have told him not to phone or send any message on my no. I have posted similar message on OLX and also on his WhatsApp. It appears that this so called Rahul is suspicious buyer. This incident is brought to your notice for necessary action.

                    OLX has suddenly banned my account without any reason. My email is [protected]@gmail.com.

                    When I called them, all they told me is that I must have violated their posting guidelines but no specific reason. I really dont think I have violated any policies since Ad was posted few days ago.

                    When I tried searching forums, it seems lot o[censored]sers are facing similar issues where their account is getting suspended/banned without any reason

                    Pretty sorry state of how they handle customer. Best part is that customer support team wants a feedback on how they managed the query :)

                        A fellow named Sanjay Singh approached me for the add i had posted. He sent me barcode scanner of paytm and askd me to scan saying I will get the amount in my account. I being unaware of all these I accepted the offer, which resulted in 23k debited from my account. I Feel OLX is not at all a safe platform. We the consumers are being used by such frauds. Also, he had sent me the snap of his adhaar card, pan card and canteen card saying he is from CISF.

                        Team, please take action on such people.

                          Hi Team,

                          I have placed order for Nikon DSLR Camera mentioned AD ID [protected]
                          and the seller had asked for Rs 1000/- initially for advance booking and I had transferred money to his shared account details.
                          Then the seller send me the Blue dart courier receipt and once I was confirmed that he has dispatched my courier then only I transferred amount of Rs 25500/-
                          and now again he is asking money for insurance of product and when I inquired why this is required then he started abusing me and he told me he is not going to deliver any of the goods that I have booked and he also told that no one can do nothing of him if I complain regarding him

                            Sir/ Madam,

                            On 31/12/2019, Tuesday I had applied for an job at Olx.

                            So A women had called me and asked me to update a form regarding our details and then for this they would charges for Rs.10/- and as I proceed for the payment, after the completion of the form they deducted Rs.1900/- from my account.

                            Then I just gave a call back and asked her about this, she said bcoz of some techinichal issues its happend like that so we will refund the money back, for that she asked me some other card details including CVV number.

                            Later I got a call from bank and those people informed me that my debit card has been hacked by hackers. And then I have done Futher move and I just contacted with the branch and blocked the card.

                              While selling my gym bike in olx, i received a call from manjeet dilharan from guwahati. He agreed to buy the bike for 4500 and proceed to pay online via google pay. He send me bar code and asked me to type upi pin. But money was lost from my account. He said he will send back the amount and tried with five and ten rupees which was successful. Again he send bar code and i lost money. Total 9000was lost

                                Hi,

                                I have ordered the laptop for 7000 (Paid through gpay) rs and still same has been not received.

                                  I am cheated 53800 rupee from olx ad person ad id [protected].
                                  In olx there is so many fraud persons there cheated like this please take necessary action on this.
                                  I spoken to aperson from olx chat and he give me a number, i spoke to that person he told that i am in army i give bike for you 32000 but he ask to put money in bank account, but he doesn't give the vehicle, please take necessary action on this ad person.

                                    I posted an ad in olx as i wanted to sell racks. Within few minutes a person called me saying he wanted to buy it. He did not take any action in olx instead directly called me. I sent him images of other racks in whatsapp which i wanted to sell and was about to post in olx before i received his call. He told he will buy all of them which would cost 40, 000. He agreed to my price immediately without any bargain. He told he will pay me immediately but i told him to pay only when a person of his comes to collect. He claimed to be in military by sending photos of aadhar card and said that he would be busy after some time till night and cannot contact. I agreed with him and said him to do the payment now. He sent a link to me and said if i pay through that link money will be deposited to my account. I acted as if i followed all his steps and recorded his call. I came to know i would loose around 1000. So what i want to say is that if these things keep happening customers feel insecure to post ads on olx.

                                    I posted add in OLX to sell sofa. Immediately i got a call from one person called Manish Pawar his no is [protected]. He want to buy product but he don't want to transfer amt onlline. Later on i checked on true calling his correct name is Nitish Ramdas Google fraud.

                                      I have seen honda active scooter on olx and thought to buy. This guys has sent us pics and said he was posted in bangalore. He said we will send bike through their indian army courier and asked us to pay 3150 we paid. Next 2 hours they said u have to pay rs. 8850 to release bike or to login for clearance. Like wise we paid some around s.25000 and these people now again they have called and said we want 10k on 25-dec-2019.

                                      Now they have switched off their no.
