Sir, i have searched online a bullet was of 55000, so we had a conversation with a whatsapp number, he sent the photo rc, bullet packing, loading pics but after that he was saying that the army man is in the bullet, he also talked to a senior if he was also in the army with the postman, then after that he said that the cement will take ₹ 5300, he will come to you refund 5000rs and ₹ 300 will cut you but what he slipped. All fraud

Sir i need a urgent help o[censored]rs. Someone has done fraud with me by pretending an army member named vikas patel. He has posted an ad in olx of tvs jupiter UP 16 BP 2724. I have contacted him ([protected]) for buying that scooty and he said that he has been posted to army camp, lucknow. Then he said me to send 1550 rs firstly for parcel of delivery. Then he send me the bill of Indian army nd told that parcel has been dispatched. After 1 hour he again called me and asked for 5199 rs and then again 5199 rs nd then he called again and said that the army courier service has reached barol bt u have to send 7199 rs and u will get all the money back when u will get ur item delivered. Then after reaching to 30km away from my address he called me again and then said That u have to send 11199 rs to get ur item and when u will get that item u will be refunded the total amount. i then said him that i have no money left then he harrassed me that u have to give otherwise u will not get the item and submitted money back. Please take a serious action against him and please help me . I belong to poor family and i need my money back very urgently. I have paid total of 17694rs to him.

M using olx since many years. Today when i posted ad, suddenly after few mins i saw they suspended my account. Still i login from my second no. But same situation there too. That account too suspended. What the # is going on olx.
Even cant able to call customer care too.

I have sold my hyundai eon car to olx cash my car in chennai on 8th dec'19, as per agreement olx has to pay 1, 60, 000 for the car but till date they have transferred only 1, 50, 000 in my account. 10, 000 is pending at there end and now these guys are making excuses for not paying my remaining money. Also till date vehicle is on my name and they have not initiated rc transfer activity. Request your advice and support in this matter.

In general, all the e - commerce sites in the world have been under severe criticism for irregularities, frauds, cheats etc; and olx.in too are not spared.
Many complaints are registered against the olx.in in the recent days. The site serves as a free trading platform for the buyers and sellers, that has been taken advantage by the anti - social elements, cheats, beguilers and people with fradulent motives. All the sellers & buyers are not genuine. There are imposters who have encroached the site with deceitful designs. Many sellers do not want any questions from the buyers about the item they have advertised for sale. They want the buyers to believe what they say. Almost, all the sellers do not give a complete description of the items and whatever little information they give are evasive. A buyer has a right to field questions about the subject items to a seller and the seller has to respond to their queries, pleasingly, clearing off all the doubts about the items. It is the sellers' responsibility to please the buyers with genuine informations. If they are not ready to answer the buyers, then they should not use the site for trading. They should not take the buyers for fools. It is not necessary for the buyers to buy the items they refer to. No sellers should expect the buyers to buy their items. Both buyers & sellers are at risk on olx.in, as there is no stringent measures to control the both. Utmost caution is to be exercised by both. Olx. Chennai has become notorious. Many under pseudo names like ' classics' rule the site with assumed authority. They dictate with unpleasant terms on the buyers, which is ridiculous. Such sellers should be banned from the site immediately. There should be no lenience or consideration for them. Though olx.in are taking measures to identify such sellers with fradulent motives and removing them from the site, their action is not proportionate to the growth of the deceitful invaders on the site. Olx.in should look into the matter immediately to curb the activities of the impostors. Otherwise, the site will fall in the hands o[censored]nscrupulous, anti - social elements.

What the hell you guys are doing at customer support? Banning anyone’s account gor no reason? The same thing has happened with my brother and my friends for more than one time. Even when i try to make a new account with a new number, they just ban it right away. Even without logging in.
I don’t need a stupid apology from you. Just unban my accounts and improve your employees sitting in that cubicle.

Today on 18th December 2019 i become victim of online fraud which have used OLX platform for initiating lead and doing fraud.

Fraud persons has posted very cheap price for latest version of honda activa. I have asked for RC book and person identity which was shared to me in 5 minutes. I have verified RC book with RTO website where details were found to be correct.

After we finalised deal price, he along with his 2 other partners convinced me to transfer Rs.6300 for transportation and RC transfer work. I have done mistake by transferring funds through Paytm. Again i got call to transfer balance amount so they can deliver. At this point i have understood that it is trap.

They have not stopped and threatened me that they have my address and aadhar card details and they will see me soon. I have filed FIR police complain with Mira Road where i stay to protect self from unknown people.

it very big scam. all 3 people have shared with me more than 12 photos at different stages to convince that all is well.

I am disappointed that professional companies like OLX platform are used by criminals to extort money from society.

I have done my duty by lodging complain with OLX, PAYTM and Police. But how this people can get caught not sure ? and will they stop ?? are India ready to using online platform for buy and sell ? is OLX and PAYTM doing enough ? we are asked KYC everytime and what about KYC of these people??

Only cyber cell complain is pending which i am planning to do by taking day off from office soon.

एक sofa cum bed ka olx पे ad डाला था, जिसको एक आदमी जिसका मोबाइल नंबर [protected] है देखा था तो उसने मुझे फोन किया कि आप ये घड़ी किसी को मत दीजिएगा हम तुरंत आपको 8100 रूपए bhim upi से भेज रहे है तो मैंने कहा ठीक h पैसे दो और sofa मै आपको से दूंगा तो उसने कहा कि आप अपना upi का नंबर दीजिए मैं उसमें अभी 8100 भेज देता हूं ऐसा बोलके उसने मुझे सिर्फ 5 रुपए भेजे तो मैंने कहा कि बाकी पैसे भेजे तो इसपर उसने मुझको एक क्यू आर कोड भेजा जो upi से ही generate होता है और बोला कि इसको स्कैन करोगे तो 8100 रूपए तुम्हारे अकाउंट में चले जाएंगे और जब मैंने स्कैन किया तो मेरे ही अकाउंट से 8100 रुपए cut गए इसपर मैं घबरा गया और उसको फोन कर के सारी बात बताई तो उसने मुझको फिर से 16000 rs स्कैन करने को बोला और कहा कि जल्दी स्कैन करो तुम्हारे rs. 24000 rs वापस आ जाएंगे तो मैंने फिर से स्कैन किया और दोबारा मेरे अकाउंट से 16000 रुपए cut गए aisa 2 bar hua mera total 50000 cut ho gya उसके बाद मैंने उससे फोन करने की कोशिश तो वो फोन ही नहीं उठा रहा था और थोड़ी देर बाद उसने अपना फोन ऑफ कर दिया ।

I was searching part time job then i knew about the swastik enterprises part time job on olx. Then i applied they asked me 2000 rs for the registration fee i sent money through google pay after that they sent me a application form i filled that i sent back to him. We used to communicate through whatsapp after that he didn't respond me properly. Then i knew he was cheating me. Many time i tried to call him in whatsapp but he didn't pick the call. Please take serious action on this.

I was searching part time job then i enquired on olx and i applied the swastik enterprises part time job later i knew that he was cheating. He asked me the address and also registration fee 2000 i gave that money to him. All the communication through whatsapp after that he didn't communicate with me. I tried to contact him through whatsapp but he didn't respond properly. Please take serious action on this.

I had posted an ad in olx for selling the phone. One of the olx user messaged me and agreed to buy the phone from me. So came down to my place took phone and did online neft transaction to my account and showed the message of the transaction credited to my account. But he didn't do the transaction instead he called some one and that person performed the transaction and forward the message and screenshot. Olx account user name was pooja (Female) and person who came was male and told his name is anil but really don't know what actually name of the person. He told my sister is the user she is purchasing the phone. I cam on her behalf to collection the phone.
We waited for some time and saw no amount was credited to account called bank customer care and they as it non working day it will take 24hrs to get reflected. So we some how trusted that person and took contact number and that person left.
We waited for next day till evening and amount was not credited and tried calling that number it was switched off. We were continuous trying to contact the person, later he picked the call and responded as money should be credited if not i will come down to your place and give money. Again we trusted that person and waited till night but again his phone was switch off and no response. Till now his phone is switch off.

Olx offers 5 free ads for duration of 60 days which is understandable from their business point of view. They want to make profits and hence it's all right that they restrict the number of free ads for a time duration.

What i have been asking them is to provide detailed data about how many ads that i have posted in a category and how many free ads are still left before the free limit is over. Such data under my profile will be very helpful.

Despite of repeated requests they don't seem to be interested to implement such a feature. When i call the customer care and ask to talk to senior they do not allow me. When i submit feedback and ask for call back they don't.

Olx is good but not that user friendly, sadly.

I saw a mobile phone on olx and contact to the owner of the mobile phone and he told me that he is a army person so i can told about phone and he told me for send 650 rs for dilivery charges of cantt and he take min. Amount 13000 from me and mobile phone can't come 😭 and and he is fraud with me and i have all the proof what he send and i told to olx and he told me that complain to the nearest police station but he can not write the complain

[protected] urgent payment karo fir apka phone 1 hours me delivery ho jayega ka, army ka nam leke mujhe fhasaya ...bad me payment ane ke bad payment error bata raha hai system me kehake aur peso ki mang ki... mere total Rs.12142 dub gaye hai badi mehant se pese jama kiye the pr indian army ke nam pe logo ko fasaya ja raha hai..

I have seen a car advertisement in olx. He said his name is rakesh kumar. And he is working in indian army bangalore. Car amount is 150000. He said he is working in indian army so believed him and also he send his photo with military dress and also adhar card. He said he need 15000 in advance to get the car out of indian army courier department. I paid 5000 through imps he gave paytm account number. After paying 5000 i went to bangalore indian army camp. But they have not allowed me. So i waited for his call and he called me and informed that he need another 15000 to get the car out of indian army camp. I refused to pay. As i think this may be fraud. Next day i contacted him and asked for refund my money. But he didn't gave my money. Big scam is going on in olx in the name of indian army. Please take necessary step to stop this scam in the name of indian army. Name
