I saw a phone under 4000 a realme 2 pro in such a good condition i don't think about any thing else and contact with that person he says i am from indian army and i give you this phone by courier he send me his pan card is proof and his documents then he says that the courier is packed when you transfer 580 rupees in my paytm account then i shift the parsal for you loccation i think he is an indian army officer so he can't fraud but he do fraud with me plz help me refund my money plz

I saw an ad this morning in olx of a bike apache 180, i contacted him and he said he is from army. I called him he said he wanna sell it urgently as he is getting posting and he is currently giving his duty in karnataka international airport. I said i can't come that far to test ride the bike, for that he said he will send a courier to my address for that he asked me for my aadhar. I did send my aadhar to him in watsapp after sometime he asked me to pay a security fund of 5520 for courier and other charges to a given mobile number. I did pay the amount and sent them the screenshot of the same. After some time he called me and said the parcel has left the office and will be reaching you by 1pm. Around 1:20pm i got a call from a courier guy and he said he is near rt nagar and will be coming soon. And around 1:30 he said he can't come as he can't login to some account and added me to send 50% of the deal to the number which i had earlier sent 5520. To which i denied and called the guy who was the olx user, to which he said wait sir i will contact the office and let you know. Then he said sir there is some issue for that you have to pay 50% right now, only then the courier will come. The olx user named ujwal kumar had sent his canteen card and the bill for security purpose. Then i denied to send the 50% of the deal to which he started blabbering about trust issue. And finally he hang up the call

I posted bed and sofa's for sale, someone calls me and says that he is a vendor and will resell my furniture so my dad agrees and then says that i'll pay money right now and my worker has left from here will be reaching you location, so please share exact location. At first, i was like okay fine and he asked for my paytm number, later when paytm was not accessable, he asked to download bhim app. Once everything was set, he sends me request of 2000 and says to click on pay button, and ad soon as i do that my 2000 gets deducted. I then realised that this is a trap, my money has been lost. Though me being upgraded with technology was fooled to this level.

Finally, we're now thinking of removing the ad as we think that olx might have become a threat for us.

I was looking for ps4 games and suddenly i saw an ad posted by "samsung center" and it was written that they sell ps4 games and mobile at wholesale rate. When i talked with the guy mr. Sajith, he said that if i order more than 6 games then the amount will be rs 250 each i. E. Rs 1, 500 and all should be paid online. He insisted me to talk via whatsapp. After asking different questions i was convinced and paid rs 1, 500 and after that he asked for delivery charges which is rs 600 and so i paid that too. He said previously that i will be getting the product within 2 days so on the next day i pinged him continously asking for the tracking id but he didn't reply. I called him several times but he didn't pickup.

Now, i want my rs (1, 500+600) = rs 2, 100 back. Kindly help me to get this back.

I was in search of a second hand/ refurbished mobile phones of oneplus company. I searched on olx, i got an ad which was attractive and was seeming a good deal with 20, 000rs oneplus 7 pro, i message that dealer.

He insisted me to message him on either whatsapp or contact directly via call.
I asked him, why can't you talk on olx messages? He didn't reply.
Then i messaged him on whatsapp and started a conversation. He told the price of oneplus 7 pro as 20, 000rs initially, then he told, now its sale time, so its available for 16, 000rs. And i also asked the price for oneplus 7 mobile phone. Replied, its 13, 000rs. For oneplus 7.

I also asked, which this mobiles are so cheap? He replied, its refurbished pieces for they are sold cheap. I insisted him to lower the price. He agreed on 12, 000rs. I told, how would the payment, he told, cash on delivery. Then i thought, its cod, then there might not be any issue.
Then at the time of ordering, he said, you need to pay advance for delivery. And he also told that as soon as i pay the advance (1, 000 rs.), he'll provide me the tracking id of the couriour company (Delhivery.com). Then i thought, he is providing the tracking id as well. He would be a real person selling this phones.

Then unfortunately, i placed order, and paid 1000rs. Online via upi, then after 5 minutes, he provided me the tracking id. And yes, it was real.

The twist was, when the courior arrived at my home, delivery boy told, he would first take the money and then allow to open the parcel. I gave the rest of the money (11, 000rs.) cash to delivery boy, and opened the parcel. I was shocked.
It was a "itel mobile" (Worth 3000rs.). And told to delivery boy, that its not what i ordered. He replied i cannot take back the broken parcel.

I immediately called that dealer, he replied, it might be a wrong delivery. He said, "i will report to you within few hours how this happened.".

I actually had recorded while unboxing the parcel. And i also send that recording. After a day, i called him for status, he replied, sir, it was a wrong delivery, your phone was delivered to another person, and that person's phone was delivered to you. Then i asked, when will i be getting my ordered phone?
He said, you'll get a mail, and you need to send your name and address to that mail, to file a complaint. And i did so.

After 2 days, that dealer gave me another number, saying it's our complaint department number. I called them, they told, that my phone is wrongly delivered to another person, and until we get that back, we cant deliver it to you.

After a few days i again called, they gave me 10th oct as the date, when i'll receive my ordered phone. They said an executive from our company will come to your house and give you the product.

On 10th oct. I waited a lot but no one came. I was also calling continuously, and they were telling, till evening, you'll get your product. But no one came to deliver.

Today, on 11th oct, i called that dealer at noon, he told, yesterday, the executives and complaint department was on leave. So you'll get your product today.

But today also no one came. And in the evening, i tried to call them, they were not giving proper answers and also not relying on whatsapp as well. And they blocked my number as well.

I have seen an ad in olx and offered to that selling price. He told me that he is an indian army man. He has worked in a. P. Then he bought that car (Ap05cs4699). He told me to send handling charges of 5150/-. I sent it via google pay. He sent via overnite express courier. The lorry driver call me and he is in vijayawada if you send 21150/- for paid up charges. I said if the car comes to our place we will pay the amount. After some conversation you are dealing with army people and i will book a case against you that you have taken my car and you are not giving the money. Those people are using indian army name and making fraud. I request you to not to encourage like this items and verify before keeping this ads. I am keeping the pics also. His contact name and no are chvs raju ([protected]).

I have posted and made payment as per your invoice no. Olxini[protected] dated 09/10/2019. But regretfully, the ad is not yet active. Therefore, please immediately activate the ad or arrange refund asap. Moreover, whenever trying to post a new and to make it featured ad, i do not see the option for upgrade ad option in my dashboard, this makes me very difficult to make my ad features. Finding very difficult to work with your given features, so requesting you to make your dashboard option more simpler and easier.

My account has been banned stating that i have been doing multiple bidding. Are there any rules that i need to bid only one bid as such. Who are they to decide to how many bid i can make. I'm not lying or cheating. They treat us like this. Dont forget without customers like us you will not be here. The worst thing is we are not even informed before being banned.

I dont know what happen to my olx account.. I just text some of the seller of the items to purchase.. But unfortunately olx has banned my account which now i m not able to open.. Please make it correct as soon.. Without a valid reason how can they banned my account if they dont allow me to chat with the seller then how can i purchase the items from the seller.. Very wrong.. Make it solve as soon.. And i want my account back..

I ordered an iphone 6s (32gb) from olx.in on 6th oct, 2019. The concerned person made a deal in 11k. He introduced himself as a soldier in army (Rajputana rifles) from old jaisalmer army cantt, rajasthan. I gave him advance payment of 6k and rest was suppose to be given after receiving the product. Courier service demanded me to pay the full payment then they will give the order. But again they told me to pay 11, 200 more to get the confirmation email fro the office.in this way i paid them rs 59, 750 as an extra amount. After cancelling the order they are saying it will take 4 days to refund the amount. He also sent me the pics of the bill, courier service office etc which after investigation was found to be invalid.
I don't know what to do now. Already registered a online complaint under punjab police.

I gave an on OLX. The buyer asked for registered Paytm number for fund transfer. I got the transfer link. On accepting the payment, the money got debited from my account instead of getting credited.
Already reported the Bank, Paytm & OLX. But the matter is still not taken up by anyone.
The fraud is occuring the most in olx. Submitted all the details on its helpline desk. Awaiting for response from the OLX team to check this issue from their end, since from the past records its being observed that most of the online frauds occurring from OLX.

I posted an advertisement to sell ac and got a call that he wants my ac and will do payment from bhim upi.. I was new so was not. Aware of the pin thing. He told me to enter the pin to transfer the amount but then he didn't pay and took my 2k too. He s not receiving the call as he told me that he will send a guy to my place for ac and money. I want you to help me to get that guy. I am attaching the proof of payment.

The person named mantosh yadav posted add on olx website. Bike is in new condition july, 2017 he wants to sell his bike. Running of his bike 7000 to 8000kms this is not a truth at all. This person is big fraud and stolen my money through net banking about 63000 rupees.in this much amount new bike i can buy. Person name mantosh yadav claim himself as a army officer and he fools lot of people by missuse of army personnel. He claimed as he is on duty at pune international airport, works in cisf for checking passports. There are many people who are suffering because of him. Please take some action against him i already launched fir against him, police are behind him and trying to trace him. Please try to trace this fellow and help police.

And also olx team please modify your resources as they are not working enough. Any fake people are posting adds on olx website it is their responsibility to take action against it and do legal action against these fake peoples.

I tried to buy a scooter through olx and responded to an ad seen on 21/09/2019. Contacted [protected]. And informed that he is in trivandrum airport which is near to me. I went there on the same day to buy it. He asked me advance payment. I did that to his mobikwik51969 wallet. But he didn't handed over the scooter. I lost 17900rs in 4 times on 21/09/2019 at 7.30 pm and 23/09/2019 8.30 am. Now he is not responding

Parmil kumar who served for indian army, as i have trust indian army and he asked money before selling scooter. I had given the 13100 rupees, after money taken. Now he is run away. Such a bad customer i got from olx i'm going to complaint against him as well as company in consumer form how he has published his scooter without any verification. Now i'm calling him but he is not responding in proper way. Take action against him asap and update the status.

A person on olx named sanjay singh, indian army officer offered to buy my product on olx. He said he can only transfer the money through google pay and fooled me by showing that i was recieving the amount but instead he recieved the amount and also got the transaction cunningly verified from me. I have complained my bank to reverse this transaction.
But after this i saw this same person has fooled and done frauds with many other people in similar manners.

I have an olx account with phone no [protected]. I used to post ads on laptops and also buy from different users. Today while visiting the olx account in my mobile but it's deactivated and while going login, it says that your account is suspended. I immediately contacted the customer care about it and they said that my account is banned by the system due to unauthorized activity which is not true at all. They have also unfairly deactivated my previous account with mobile no [protected] also. I don't understand at all. I asked the customer care what is the main reason to deactivate but don't reply to me the reasons. This is completely unfair.
