I bought made easy package from a person whoose phone number is [protected], after deal i had sent 1500 rupees from my bank account, then he said that i will got books in 3 days, and he will sent by courier, but i have not got the product, when i calle him, he cut my phone and he blocked me on mobile, he gave me a invalid consgiction number, so i can not track my product.. He blocked me, so i can't contact him, and he does not recieve any call from me, i sent him money on 19 october.. Its 25 october.. Please help me, i have the bank aacount number, phone number of the seller.. Please help me

This person named parveen provided the following adhaar card from haryana, i card, pan card and later cheated for rs 5000 when he transferred amount into his paytm account. On[protected]

I purchased a package of rs 399/-. Of 15 ad... But it is a fake package as shown by olx on his website.. After posting 2 ad it is not working and again demand for buying of new package
Dump my money by fake package as shown by olx.
Everyone is advised to carefully taken the package of this fake olx website... It is dumping hard earned money of people by showing fake package. The website respond is not also a fruitful. There is also a problem of contacting the person to resolve the problems. This website making fool by showing fake package on daily, weekly and on monthly basis...

I recently uploaded an ad to sell my vehicle (Hyundai sonata embera 2007 model). Consequent of that i shared my contact no. And images of vehicle to many users and i also sold the vehicle to a buyer on olx. However, one anonymous user is now using photos of my vehicle and has uploaded on olx. He has changed the name and other details of the vehicle which are totally fake.
In this regard i therefore, request olx india to look into the matter and block that anonymous user.

Sold by a fake army man. He very cleverly make the buyer to believe that he was in buyer place or city but now moved
To some millitarry camps mostly in rajasthan. He then offer the buyer to pay 50% and then he will post the phone
Through army post. He send his fake id card and postal slip. Demands money through paytm and promises to send the
Phone by army post. Then before delivery they demand full amount + insurance amount mentioning it refundable. And
Phone never comes there are 100 of victims who lost there money to these fraudster.in my case it was manjeet.

Kindly place a notice above such adds that if the seller
Claims to be army man and promise to send the phone through army post and demand money through paytm then please
Be aware and don't do any dealing.

For saving people's money i valuntarily took action by placing below mentioned add, but it was discarded.
I hv requested olx to warn people but olx is allowing fraudulant add and discarding the add which was posted for
Public interest and awareness. Which depicts olx has joined hand with fraudster by charging some good percentage of
The money looted i will also rise is issue to electronic as well as print media.

Wait... Wait... This type of add that sells expensive mobile are fraud. Specially the one that is sold by army man or cisf or
Any security person. They will ask to pay through paytm and convince you to send via post and ask for half payment. I[censored] come

Today morning i received a calll from an army guy saying that he wishes to sell a oneplus 6 at 20, 000. He said he works at airport and i have to go there to collect the phone. He asked me to submit ₹620 for gate pass and all saying he cannot come out of the airport. Then he asked me to deposit th complete amount and i deposited him 15000. Then no one came out and i never received the phone... Nor the refund... His phone is still reachable but indian police is doing nothing about it.

I cannot see the chat messages from buyers. But i am getting the messages to my mobile, that they are interested in my plot. I want you to let me see the chat messages. When i called them some are admitted that they sent a chat message on olx. And some are not. I want you to check the problem. You can send me the reply in gmail account : [protected]@gmail.com...

My account with id aditta.[protected]@gmail.com has been blocked without given any prior information...
I dont know whether duplicated existed or any else probem... But it has been blocked... The olx team knows it well...

Please unblock it as quickly as possible...
It will help my cause to sell and buy products...

I have a lot of respect on u all but bad incident happened to me on 12/10/18fellow named RAVI KUMAR PRAJAPAT with ID GA***F00 mentioned on GROCERY CARD he kept an add on OLX of IPhone 6 mobile so he asked me to transfer total 20000 on paytm I payed it so he told that he will return total while delivery but didn't received so please take be careful of this beggars and I request to transfer me all the amount ASAP as Im having all proofs of that person.

1 week back i posted an ad on olx about my dslr camera i got a message from an olx user that please share you contact details for further discussions then i shared my contact details
He said he lives in syria and he want to buy this dslr for his friend
He said you can courier me your dslr and i will pay the courier charges as well i agreed upon that he said once i will send him the shipment receipts he will transfer the payment and he ask me to send the shipment receipts on this bank official mail id that is [protected]@mail.com and i did it i send the shipment receipts on his bank official mail id after that i got a mail from his bank that our transfer machine is not working it can only transfer the amount above 60000 so in order to complete 60000rs you have to deposit 12000rs in canara bank account on this this name we did it then he said you have to deposit 15000rs because of international charges and they said after that we will transfer you immediately 60000+15000=75000 then again we deposited it now they want me to release the parcel then only he will transfer the payment because i asked the shipment company to keep the parcel on hold
Then i said i dnt want to sell anything please give my payment they are doing nothing they are not replying to my mails not answering my calls they are doing nothing..when i went to canara bank they said they will only help me if the cyber crime/ police/consumercourt will get involved in this

Then i got messages from an account just verified by google and with no profile pic.. 1st they asked things about item and then they started asking personal questions in a very dirty way.. You do know how easily people can make fake email. You need to have a strict policy about these kind of things.. I am really annoyed on that person and please do something. Thanks

Hi team,

We purchased a lg single door refrigerator through olx seller truman who in turn is the proprietor of m/s af metro home appliances.

We bought it on 09-10-18 and delivery made by night 9.00pm. Since it was raining they told us to switch on the appliance after 3 hours and assured that the item is in perfect working condition.
But we realised about cheating after 3 hours that the fridge was giving out loud noise from compressor side and cooling was not happening even after 20 minutes.

This we informed the seller the same day itself and send the video and details over his whatsapp number. He responded like next day his technician will come and attend the issue. But even after repeated follow-up he didn't send us technician nor picked up the phone for another 3 days. So then when i messaged him about this irresponsible behaviour, he threatened me of bad consequences. We paid 6000 rupees and we got a completely faulty fridge.
Afterwards we arranged a technician for knowing the actual issue and they submitted report saying that compressor and freezer box to be replaced and it costs 5700 rupees extra.

Kindly take action against this seller. I am having complete details about him, his shop, bill and warranty card etc.

So there's this person named :- Andre Payne, he messaged me in OLX, enquiring about my post about the iphone. He messaged me to share my whats app number with him so that he can contact there further for easy conversation.
I got message from 2-3 international numbers at once, and to my surprise all were having same name attached with them. I asked him why are you texting me from multiple numbers, to that he replied that his number got hacked :D lol.
This weird reply from him made me a little dubious about the authenticity of this person. I enquired further, he said he will be transferring me the amount from the bank in States, Austin, Texas, and I should courier this mobile to his brother, who resides in Banglore. And thanks to the posts here, I searched with the relative content of this incident and found similar incidents posted here.
I don't know what OLX is doing to avoid this kind of frauds.

I just posted this so that if one google the same, might get saved from the fraud.

On 13/10/18 i offered a bajaj iron for sale and mr rajesh contacted me from his mobile number [protected] and i told him to visit my house and take it for rs 250.
I informed other 3 persons that iron was already sold out.
I regretfully wish to inform you that, though rakesh promised to come today and collect the iron, he neither inform me nor came to collect the iron.
I will have to again offer it for sale on your site.

Hi am syed shoaib. I have a complaint against the fake army person called vikram balu waghmaare. Who cheated me in olx by saying he's from ayan and showing some stuff of his i'd cards and canteen cards. I really can't understand your olx ppl are not taking any action with this a fake adds and getting this ppl into custody. Olx company don't know that these ppl hv earned nearly 1lakh per day. All bcz of this olx as a intermediate they have done such a worst thing. I hereby request olx company to either catch those theif and give our money back or else olx self pay me the money i lost the money worth 7500/ rupees. I was offered a galaxy s9+ by a person who claimed to be an army officer. He was so convincing that you cannot believe it to be a total scam but after i paid him the initial amount of half of the amount he was totally saying all about trust that you can trust me.. Bharosa kijiye humpe..
And after that he tried every way to get the remaining money from me.. It turned out to be a total scam and i lost 15000 in the process due to the fake ads on olx.
Never deal in olx it's as useless as a site can be. Believe me these scamsters have fake receipts of everything under the sun.

This all happened back yesterday. (11th oct'18)
I was searching for a phone on olx of around rs.10000
I saw an add on olx of redmi note 5 pro @ 8500. I was intrested in buying that. I cracked the deal in exchange of my current phone.
His name was sanjay singh.
He told me that he is working in indian army. I asked him to exchange the phones next day. I. E 12th oct'18
He gave me his adhaar proof and his own picture as an indian army officer for a proof and said parcel will delivered within few hours initially he asked for rs 1080 as courier charges. I sent the amount through paytm as i thought he is genuine as he is sending his adhaar card as id proof.
Then he sent some of the pictures in which some people were packing some boxes, also pictures including receipt of my name.
Then i thought that something's wrong, i searched on google about indian army fake parcels, and seriously i found tons of cases like this. Some of the pictures were same as i got from him.
I found it fake, i called him, he asked me to wait for 2 hours. I waited, received another call after 2 hours from some other number. He was asking for some extra payment before delivering the phone. I refused, and he started abusing then. I disconnected the call. Please do something, help me out in this situation.

I got fraud on olx by name indian army i m not worrying about 1000. Rs i am feeling bad of this is using indian army name frauding first he said to deposit 1000on paytm i deposited he said u give cash to delivery balance amount i said ok after 2.5 hrs i received a call from delivery boy he saying first u deposit full after i ll come to give u parcel please stop this man he is paying with name of army it's a request..
