Ko join kr skte ho humari company me... Sir ji me ek poor family se belong krta hu job k bare me soch kr unke account me mene paise de diye fir agle din call aaya unka aur likha tha 5000 rs bejo apka salary account kholna pdega mene kha me apni branch me khulba leta hu fir unhone bola wha apko salary account kholne k liye 25000 rs ki zrurt pdegi jo ki mere pass nhi de fir mene fir se money transfr kr diye mere pass proof hai but aab naa unka koi call lg rha hai naa hi mere msg ka koi rply de rhe hai... Aab aap hi btao ki ek labour ka kaam krne wala kese kese kr k 8000rs jma krba skta hai aab me j proof aur unka account no. Kisko dikhau jo mere paise bapis kr ske... Me bhut dukhi hu aab... Aab to account me b koi paisa nhi rha je complaint hai meri ager paise dilbado to apka bhut bhut kripa hogi aur god apko hr khushi de... Plz sir ji aur ek req. Very disappointed with olx just got schemed from a fraud user on ur olx i loss my 13000 rs bt no one helps me really i do have all the evidence which shows he is a fraud and using a fake identity of so called vikram waghmare and stating himself as a jat regiment indain army officer its a shame that a fraudster is using an indain army person identity and u guys the ugly olx is just in a rush to raise their revenue and nothing else i knw i m getting my money back bt i dnt want any ither to be scammed ur responsible "olx" for this situatuion a person name vikram is posting frequient ads on olx with same pics and discription and the mediuim used was olx i have attached few ads there are many more ads similar circulaitng on olx kindly stop this malpractice and take strict action as soon as possible if possible provide me raw data i have attached below some ad ids and name and the amount which i transferd to his account is given below plz help others so to prevent this fraud in future

This is complaint about the a fraud seller who consider himself as the army person mr shrikant { constable in cisf }. He posted a ad related to new oppo f9 pro
Which he consider as the new selling due to accidental reasons.. He asked for the payment for before the courier by paytm.. And do not delivery the phone after the payment.. The transitions of the payment is made on his names.. I requst to have a strict action against him soon

I would like to mention that the subject mention olx profile member has posted and advertising my property on selling of aluminum door partitioning / false ceiling which was already sold to me recently. This member has posted 3 days (05th or 06.09.18) back on the same without my knowledge. Hence i would seek your support and take suitable /necessary action against them.

I'm also attaching my payment net transfer details for your reference and their olx snap shot details.

I spoke to the profile member on 09.09.18 @ 9.20 am and warned about the consequences and informed them i'm going to report this to olx and mentioned i can take legal action against them. Now i tried to report the same in the olx advertisement but they had cleverly removed their selling ad.

In view of the above said fact i'm worried and afraid that they will login with some other olx profile and create mental tension to me.

Looking forward for a complete support in this regard from olx. We need a confirmation from your end that they had created & posted selling our property in your olx website. This will facilitate us to lodge legal complaint against them. Mattermost urgent

I saw an ad on olx in indore and then contacted himfor the details, he told me that he's an army officer posted in ujjain. Nd he sended all his id's and photos of mobile and bill so i thought it's genuine. Later he told me pay some amount as insurance of parcel coming through overnite express limited courier. So i paid then the delivery boy calls me nd asked to pay the full amount of phone as security. He said he will get a confirmation msg from his head office then he will deliver the phone. Nd after taking that too they told i have charged for penalty for late delivery acceptance. So i asked them to return my money so he told me to pay half of the penalty amount. It's a kind request dnt ever do the mistakes which i did. Nd please if anyone can help me in this matter so please provide some guidance.

I was searching for one plus6 and i found this guy named vicky you gave said that they sell refurbished product for lesser price. I asked what if i did not like the phone he is selling, he said he will refund the money so i order and asked for cash on delivery service, he charged 300 rupees as booking amount and sent the product via dehlivery courier service and charged 14000 rupees as i opened the package i found he sent an iphone 7 so i called him and said that he sent a wrong product he then said that he will replace or refund my money by the next day before12pm and when i called after that he is not answering my call nor sent my money back to me so kindly help me get my money back thank you

When i was searching for iphone.. I saw ad of iphone 6 for 10500rs given by this army man jai kishan... He said he is from army and is in agra for now... If am interested to buy phone from him he will give me by hand... He gave his id photo... And pictures of photo... I agreed to buy... But he said phone is of army canteen so have pay him advance... I believed as he is from army... I gave money but he is not receiving calls now... So at the i decided to file complain.. I filled it... Fraud of iphone on olx by army man... I want olx to take some strict action about it... We are purchasing products from olx because we trusted​ the site... I posted an ad in olx (Buying and selling app for used products)
-product - tissot wrist watch, which cost around 35k inr
I was approached by a unknown person on 7 sep 2018 and offered a reasonable price and was mutually agreed by the both the parties to sell/buy the watch.

Later, he asked to ship the item to usa and asked for the bank account information to make the payment. (I was aware that this could be fraud, but just to get to root cause of this, provided the bank information and ifsc code, and agreed to ship the item to usa only if the payment is received first), and he said payment will be made next day and.

Next day: attached screenshot
I received an email in my spam folder, which said he has already made the payment from his end and it is in pending status and will only be able to release the payment once the item (Wrist watch) shipment receipt is provided to him, as it was needed by bank.

Now, it was proved that he is a fraudster.

Jotting the key points:

_ when i told him his country coe is of nigeria, he said he is in usa and number keeps routing (It's gimmick)

Eventually, i told him that he got to know he is a fraud and will contact police, in return, he started threatening and say's he has got all my information and will put me behind the bar (Jail).

I know this is not the first time this kind of fraudulent activity has happened in olx (After looking in google), links attached:

However, i would request forum to have this people blocked. I understand it is our own (Indian citizen) responsibility as well to deal and understand the people with whom we are having transaction with.

Please note, i am not bad mouthing olx here in any means, it is just a source like any other buy/sell website/app, but my recommendation is to have a some sort of phone/ email verification to ensure this kind of fraudulent activity doesn't happen in india.

If people are educated/aware about these scammers, they could be looted easily, these people should be behind bars.

I know there are thousands of complaints this sort of, however, i am doing my bit what i could do.

A sanjay singh named guy posted a add of oneplus 6 mirror black 2 months old..
He is telling he is army guy from chandigarh and two months old phn giving in 15000 only...

The main thing he has posted his add in meerut location as per him. He is from. Chandigrah l, when i asked him about the location he had not justfied rply.

I said him. I would not give u the money untill i chk the phone. He said send me the courier charges in paytm for parcial and when u ill get the u can tranfer the money.
& for taking me in confidence he said his aadhar card pan card army card, canteen card, and phn box and itz bill also, i asked him send ur aadhar card photo from backside but he dint.

He called me consistent ki just send ur address and send money as ealry as possible as i can send the phone.
But it was suspicious it was first time as seller in chandigarh posted ad in meerut, 2 moth old phone give in 60% cutted price and also if m not responding he is calling me no. Of times please send ur address.
Guyes i seached at google this ype of scam and i shocked than i denied him to buying the phn

Please be aware the person. He would not send the phone or phone could be stolen by him etc be aware.

I am using olx account from 3-4 years. When i have tried to contact with sellers, olx has banned my account.

I have recharged my account with 999/- but they banned my account and they are not refunding my amount.

Why are you blocking our account.

When i called your customer support, they don't have any right answer regarding this topic. They always says that you have violated policy of olx.

Once i found an ad of vivo v9 sold by a person in disguise of indian army. Initially he asked me to transfer the postal charge of 2K which i sent then he asked me to send 8K more for delivery, so after payment he said yr 8K is pending so again told me to send (4K×2) which again naively i sent but after paying 18K they told that delivery is delayed so you need to pay 5100 more for it. So i dumped them and yelled at them. I have total call recordings and WhatsApp chats. So plz help what should i do. As a student its painful to bear a loss of 18K as a whole. Need help from OLX

I was looking for a second hand mobile on olx pune and thereafter i found a dealer named as young on olx who was there for selling of oneplus 6, 8 gb ram and 128 gb internal storage red variant mobile, then we had a chat for a negotiation then he text me his whatsapp number and then i contacted the dealer on whatsapp and the guy said that he is in indian army and he told me his name is jaikishan saini. Then we negotiated for an amt of rs23000. Then he shared his army id card, pan card and aadhar card details and said that being a civilian you are not allowed within the campus of army and being at the post of sepoy in indian army me too is not allowed without permission to leave the campus area of army. Then he said he will courier the mobile with insurance of damage to me he asked me to share my details to him then i shared my photo, my college id and aadhar card and he said me that i have to give some token to book the phone he provided me the paytm number of his office colleague so i gave the token of rs.5000/- as booking token by the medium of paytm his number on 31st august 2018 at 5.11pm. Then he said me that by tomorrow morning he is going to courier the mobile by tomorrow morning from his office. And will send me the receipt of courier by tomorrow morning and will receive the mobile within 2hrs of booking but didn’t get any update from him so i called him and asked for update so he said that he has packed the mobile and going to courier it at any cost by tomorrow morning then the next day i called again and ask for an update he said that he had booked the phone from his office and will send me the receipt once he get free. Then he send me the receipt of courier the next early morning i. E. On 3 sept. And promise that within 2 hrs. You will receive the courier it’s the promise of an indian army then by evening the courier person called me that and said me that you have to first pay the amount and then only i can forward the courier and he send me within an hour so i said that’s ok, then i made the payment again on a different paytm number this all procedure took around 7.00pm on 3rd september, 2018. And then i called back the delivery boy name rahul his phone was switched off then i called the dealer (Jaikishan) he said that the office closes at 7.00 pm and i will surely get my courier by tomorrow i. E 4th september, 2018. By morning when the office opens up at 10.00am. Now on 4th september when i called jaikishan his phone was switched off than i tried to contact the courier boy but his number was also switched off and then i contact the paytm number one paytm number was ringing and the other as switched off and afterward around 10.00 pm hisnumber was also switched off.

Cheated in the name of indian army, using olx and paytm. Please take it seriously. Several group of people are active in our country and they are looting using plateform like olx and paytm.

We saw a phone in olx sir. Then spoke tothe seller. He said i am from army. My name is tamire taj kumar. First he said me u should pay full amount after parcel delivery. I saw one plus 6 on OLX ..on Delhi he is army men.I tok to that person he said just paytm the courier charge 1150 rs. After u recve the courier den u pay the 17000.i agree and I paytm the 1150 on name jai Kishan men .after some hours courier boy called me dat u have a persal pay the amount 17000 .I paid on name jai Kishan men paytm ...he said pay in two installments. I paid again ...den he said pay the security fee 7100 ..I also paid that one den again he said pay in two installments .again I paid ...and he said your all the amounts will be refunded except 14000..now he is saying ki 3100 more paytm kro ..I said ki Mera paisa refund kro...now he is saying ki apka parsel or paisa dono refund pending me jyga
