i m seeing phone on olx mi note 5 pro 64gb ..he said i m army officer and he said my duty in samshedpur...seeing a bsf i belived him..i asked him how can u tranfer phone on bareilly up he said i can courier the phone i said ok he said u msg me on whatsapp say hi and i send you photos of phone i said ok then he send photos of phone and aadhar card canteen card id card pan card...and he deliverd me today...then he said u can pay me half amount of money then i courier the phone by overnight express then i transfer him money with paytm 9000/-then he send me photos of overnight express office and he send me reciept of courier (fake) then he said u recieve your parcel in afternoon..called him he said u call at courier boy i call to courier boy he said your amout was left 5000/- u tranfer money with paytm then i deliver your courier then i send him 5000with paytm then he said ok i will deliver your courier in20min ..after 20 min i called him he called you need to send 5000/- again..Then he call and said that i need to payment gst 3333 extra...some times after he call me and say i need to pay late fee of 4100 extra which will be refundable on the time of delivering...they are continiously calling me to pay 7400 extra...why the people are frauding people in distinguish as a bsf??People are believing them as a bsf but they are frauding..i dont know that which id they are sending that respected bsf are alive or dead !!!Which people are doing this types of work...you shame to do that to throw ink in the name of a bsf..shame!!!why indian army doing nothing?!!?why olx is not taking any action?

Lastly i posted a ad on olx for my iphone x. I dont know why they banned my account for no reason and calling there customer support they are not letting me know the reason for the ban and asking me to take a legal advice and contact through them. Without any reasons or whatever misunderstanding is there unless they tell me how would i know. I am on olx since years and what do i get in return is a ban without any reason kindly look into the matter and resolve it soon

I have purchased an apple 7 plus 128gb jet black only 10 month old from seller that was shown from mohali, my adjoining area and negotiated further he asked to depoist 10, 000 whcih i did as i trusted olx and futher 17000 total 27, 000 but that seller was fraud and refused to send item

My submission olx is fraud and taken commission from these seller as following are ads of seller who i my perception are fraud -

I got this persian cat ad on olx, which was being sold by manish bidlan, currently residing in patel nagar, delhi.. But when you type persian cat n location guwahati his ads pops up but he is currently operation from delhi.. He is a fraudster, first he asked advance which i paid secondly he again asked for the full payment, but it was decided at the beginning about the payment that i will pay 4000 rs in advance n pay the rest while delivery, he accepted at the beginning but as soon as i sent him the advance he started demanding the full amount n when i refused n asked him to refund my amount, he started abusing. I have all the proof of him being fraudster, n this is not is first time he did this with my friend too where he took all the amount in advance n never delivered any persian cat, unfortunately i got to know about this fraudster later...

I believe olx is a reputed company, but if you keep entertaining this kind of fraudster in olx, m sure soon olx will be a scammer zone..

I intend to purchase a mobile phone and saw one advertisement for One Plus 6.
I asked the seller to share the product details. He shared his contact details as [protected] and asked me to get in touch with him at this no. so that he can share all product related details. I called him and we agreed on a certain amount. He told me that as he is in Indian Army and posted at Bikaner hence he can send this phone via Army courier service and it will get delivered the same day. I was asked to transfer the payment through Paytm.

He shared all his ID card/ Army Canteen Card/ phone bill to win my confidence and also the courier receits and physical photos of the packet to be delivered. He asked me to share my adhaar ID and transfer INR 5000/- as token advance which I did.

Immediately after making the payment I google searched the name Tamire Tej Kumar and realized that i have been subjected to a fraudlent dealing.

In the evening I received another call from a person posing as a courier guy ( Phone No: [protected]) asking me to get in touch with the person who has sent this courier and settle the remaining amount before he deliver.

As I was aware of it thus I refused to pay the remaining amount and told him unless i see the phone, i will not pay the remaining amount.

I was under the impression that all olx users are verified hence there is no possibility of any such fraud but it was a grave mistake on my part.
I have not only lost money but also faith in OLX and all online platforms. They are highly prone to such fraudlent dealings and strict majors should be taken to punish people who are abusing these platforms.

The person who defrauded me told me over the phone that he has done the same using OLX on many occasions and nothing has happened and nothing will happen and he will continue make money with ease using such platforms. He also asked me that if I call on his no. which is [protected] he will block me.
I therefore request OLX to help me and save many people from such frauds.

My name is Shafat Ali, and is living in Sikri. I spoke to Manjit through OLX, he is in the Indian Army and his name is Manjeet. He said that he wants to sell the phone. I have fixed the price of the phone to 13000/00, and he has asked me to send my base card through wtapass and I have sent it, he said that he will take the first courier charge @ 1300 / = 00 and then the half Payment must be done by paytm account. I have already sent it to 1300 / = 00 and for the second time I sent it on my payment number to 5200 / = 00 in the Petty Account on [protected], after which I received a call from the courier boy, he said that you should reach the courier Before the balance is to be given. I have sent balance payment in the Manjit Payments account. After that the courier person is again saying that you have to pay the security charge which was 5100 / = 00, I have paid with another payment account number. He then said that it is not legal, you have to pay with your PettyM account. Then I paid my petty account.
But now, he has blocked my phone number and number of wtapss. Now I am calling from another number but he is saying that I am not Manjit. I paid him a total of Rs 22820 / = 00. I have some documents that he has given me by wtaps that are attached to your further activity.

Kindly requesting to you, please retuns my amount from them.

This man advertised to sell his mobile phones. Against his ad for s9 plus 128gb, i contacted him on the phone. He posed as an army personnel and requested me to pay 10000/-by paytm because he required money very urgently for the treatment of his friend lying in a hospital in rajakhera rajsthan. He has taken entire price of rs10000/- but he is not supplying me with the item he had advertised in olx.in.
I helped him as a mark of respect for the army personnel

I received a call on 26 august 2018 from some unknown person ([protected]) he said that my phone netwoork is blocked ([protected]) and to activate it i need to give otp which will be sent to my moblie. After sometime i received an otp without any reference, otp msg as follows"use xxxx as your otp to register". The same unknown person called me and asked for otp in order to activate my phone network, i shared the otp because the otp msg was...

I saw an advertisement at olx on 24/08/2018 of iphone x 64gb worth rs.45000/- so, i contact him discuss the details of iphone. He said that he is cisf constable and he had visited delhi last week, he posts the advertisement on olx at that time, now he is at chandigarh army cantt. For gaining my trust he sends his own cisf id card, adhaar card or some pics of his own with the phone bill. I send him rs.1000/- and rs.10000/- by paytm on his number [protected] by the name of sanjay singh. He sends me overnight express ltd pod slip for gaining my trust.
I request to take action against him and refund my money.

I also got scammed today. I dint know abt this case and i lost 19, 500. Is there anyway to get bak the money? Or is it gone? I’ve informed my authority’s but they have said this is common.
If someone can help please help. Should i move on? Or shud i go ahead with this?

I saw jaikishan's ad of mobile oneplus 5t and deal was confirmed on phone of 17000₹. He called me and said i will send the phone by post so send 7000₹ in paytm and rest after delivery. I sent him 7000₹ via paytm and now i saw many frauds in his name on google and complaints against him. So i called him and said give my money back and he disagreed and blocked my number and isnt picking his phone. I lost my hard earned 7000₹. Please do something and get me back my lost money plz

I saw an ad in olx for a sale of ecosport car with price quoted as 4laks, tried to contact the seller and he gives an alternate number to call. Tried that number and a lady who picked the call explained about the car and told that the car is in chennai airport and to checkout the car, first we need to clear gate pass charges which will be around 49k will be reduced from final amount if not interested the amount will be returned.
Even though am not interested in the deal i searched google and found same fraudulent happened in bangalore. Just for ur information to save who s not aware of this fraud. Ad is still active attached pic for reference.

I had a deal with person name dodiya dharmik by trusting him as an army person. He gave me enough proof required (Aadhar card, army card, phone bill).
I order redmi note 5 pro.
I transferred him 11000 rupees through paytym in advance. He claim that he will send me phone via courier. He send me some of the photos of fake docouments so, i trust him. After that he is not receiving my call. Now i am helpless. I lost my money. Please help me to get my money back

With due respect and humble submission I Mrs Shakshi Singh had seen add in the OLX for a Scorpio car, model S10. As per the information shared in olx I had shown interest and had given call for the same. The owner of the car mentioned him as Mr. Rjib kr Brahma who is currently in Delhi for his wife medical check up, that what he convey and basically address himself as an NRI, who stays in Malaysia. The next person mentioned him as Mr. Manish Srivastav, Manager of cargo office of airport authority of india, Location Guwahati. Both this person has done fraud with us. I would also like to share there contact number-

Sir, both this people has done fraud with us in selling out the car. I have the voice recording of both the person. Sir, would like to inform you that I had a transaction of an amount of Rs 2, 98, 000/- (Two lakh and ninty eight thousand rupees only). The 1st transaction was in the name of NK Enterprise, Canara bank with a/c no[protected], IFSC CODE- CNRB0002886, amount transfer was 1, 98, 000/-Payment done from Allahabad bank current account with the account number- [protected], in the name of RB Enterprise. The second transaction was done towards HDFC Bank, in the name of MOHD ARIF, A/C NO - [protected], IFSC CODE- HDFC0000975, amount transfer was 1, 00, 000/- and amount was transfer from the same bank account details which i had already mentioned in the 1st transaction. Sir, I deeply request you to kindly take strict legal action against this two culprits. It's a prayer from my side and urge for justice for this nonsense crime. Currently, i am the victim of this two person but assured me that i will be the last. Sir, help me in this circumstances in getting my money back.

A person who claimed his name as Raj and post the ad in OLX by the name of Sonia, They offered 190Ltr. Refrigerator for Rs. 4500/- and asked to pay Rs.1500/- advance, rest 3000/- I need to pay cash at the time of delivery, but when I transfered 1500 they offered me that if you pay Full 4500/- through paytm to [protected] they will give 300 cash back and a Mixer Grinder free with it. Trusting him I paid full amount and as soon as I maid a payment that person blocked my no. on his phone, I tried his other no. but he is not picking up my call, he is not even responding to whatsapp even, his other nos. are [protected], [protected], [protected].
I need details of this person as this is OLX verified customer, OLX is equally responsible, they should check these kind of ads, they are providing platform to these fraudsters.

So i chated with him and he tolad that he is selling the iphone with sealed box and u can get the bill.. bt for that u have to pay advance amount like that told and gave his bank account number.. and transfered money 3800 and after that he told that some technical issue with the bank he will sort it out tomorrow.. and today he told that today bank holiday so u pay 25% amount and i will deduct both the amount when am delevering the product he told after so many chats and discussion i agreed to that .. and i transferd the amount of 6000.. and his both numbers are switched off i have attached the both his bank details and his numbers and i also attached the money transfered details ... Plz plz plz help me
