I've been through a fraud of rs.15200.
A person name jaikishan took rs.15200. He is saying that he has iphone 6s with warranty sending his aadhar card and army card. So i believe him. He said he is posted in jaipur, rajasthan and i sent the money by depositing it to my account and he take it through paytm. Please take this complaint seriously. The money i gave him was the the money i save for months. And some of the money, i borrow from friends. Please olx help me to get back my money. I'm a student and rs15200 is a lot of money to me.
I'll be very please if you resolve my problem.

We get unwanted calls from sellers explaining their property details. But we just surf generally. But did not even chat to those buyers. Even in settings we dint share our contact number. Kindly note this complaint. Without chatting with them how do they call us.

Agar kisi ko bhi msg aata h redmi mobile fcode k liye to vo fake hai...vo apko bataiga ki vo Mi official dealer h or apko kahega ki 500 rs mai fcode dega ...apse vo Amazon gift card k through paise lega or bolega ki payment hone k 2 min baad code bhejega jo ki invalid fir vo reply bhi nhi karega...So please dont trust on him..

I have 3 ads on olx right now. From my experience of getting calls and msgs from buyers i can say that 80% of the calls and msgs are of fraud people, those who just want to start flirty chats by seeing a girl's name. And another major msgs are from people of different countries who become ready to buy product easily without any enquiry and ask for the bank details. On the face they seem fraud. So, only rest 20% are the genuine people who are interested in the product.

My request to olx admin is to be more strict with the site and these practices otherwise people like us will have to stop posting ads on olx.

I saw an ad on olx india someone was selling oneplus 3t mobile. He was calling himself an army man named vikram vagmare and sent me his canteen card and his photos so trusted him. He told me that his duty is in jaisalmer rajashtan.
I negotiated with him and finalised the deal in 7000 rupees and first transferred 3000 on 5th march and then transferred 4000 on the next because the courier boy said i am coming with mobile till you clear the remaining amount. So i made the payment of 4000 again and he didnt sent the mobile now when i ask him about giving my money back he is asking me to paytm kyc his mobile number and then he will transfer my rupees back to my account.

Hi,
On OLX a person posted an iPhone 6 32 gb ad using name Vikas Patel for rs.18, 000/- . When I contacted him, he gave me his whatsapp number and asked to me message him. After texting him he immediately sent his canteen I'd card, Aadhar card and driving licence. Finally after bargaining he agreed to give it for 12, 000. When I asked him to meet up he said he has been sent to Delhi on other posting. He asked me to pay half the amount first and when I get the phone he asked to send the remaining amount. I've sent him money using Paytm and he did send me an receipt(fake) of courier which was given by overnite express. I assumed him to be a good person as he sent me his total I'd proof and phone bill. Next day the courier guy called me and said the person who sent the parcel has put your courier on hold. When I called the person Vikas patel he said to pay the remaining amount then he will release the hold. Afterall getting so far I gave him the remaining amount using Paytm. The next minute when I called to the courier guy his phone was switched off and the person named Vikas Patel didn't respond well and kept me under blacklist. When I called the Paytm number which I've sent money some other person lifted the call and said this is a tea shop in Gujarat. Sir kindly due notice the case and take immediate action .

but sir in my case and above case paytm number is same [protected] (JIRAF KHAN). So pls paytm also you can check who is this becasue some one is doing KYC then he recieve money in wallet.

Sir kindly due notice the case and take immediate action .

I am also the part of this fraud in dec 2017 with rs 39000. For iphone 7+ 128 gb he is a fraud. I have all recipts and mobile numbers of this with bank account numbers. Although i put a fir against him. But through this message i want say to olx. That they do nothing for safety purposes. That man still do fraud with other persons.

Why dont you take certain precautions?

I tried a lot but i got no ans.
If there is any one who can take initiative of this so please share your review with your contact number.

About that fraud frankly speaking olx is totally a fake and fraud website.

Brought a samsung washing machine on march 1, 2018 from an olx seller shoab khan ([protected]). Seller lied about it being in excellent working condition and fairly new. It turned out to be extremely dirty and unusable. It has crap (Mud and stones) coming out of it every time water fills in it. This product was sold by unique enterprises, hbr layout bangalore. I am trying to contact them for the free service that i was promised at the time of sale, however there's no response. I want a refund of my payment and want to return this unusable product. A person had put up ads as he is relocating, i was interested in that product, i contacted and i bought that product. Meanwhile he said he has few more products listed and told to check out. I showed interest in handycam and another handi. Finally we negotiated and we met in a place and i paid the amount and got the product to home. My husband turns on the handycam and checks, the screen is flickering. The very next day i contacted him and i have been calling and sending msg to him over watsapp, but the guy is not responding. I've chatted with the person kavin Thams (Thamarai selvan) [protected] on olx later on whatsapp on provided no. listed a amazon echo speaker product. Deal agreed at 1800. I've transferred the initial 1k on his shared bank details. Post which he blocked me & didn't sent the product.

I have purchased old split ac from a to z cooling services, andheri east - owner mr. Asif siddiqui in mar-2017 for rs. 18000/- since then, it got repaired 4 times and current status is it's non-operational since last one month. Owner is not attending to my complaint for replacement and not even repairing it.

Request you to please take up with him. I am seriously thinking of lodging a police complaint for cheating and need your support.

Basically he will talk nicely and find product from different place and will assure you saying he will send money when u show him the courier slip immediately. he will send a screenshot where he show that clearly he has transferred money to your bank.but that is fake messaging technology.his name is pratyush kr .
