I have been a victim of fraud where the person lured me to buy a product on the one of the most trusted sellers olx, he said he has sent a parcel, there was also a dm-message generated to make me believe that this is all genuine, it has been three days now and i have not yet received any package, the person had said that he had the parcel from speed post courier from surat, a partial amount of money has been already transferred to his paytm account and before i could that i have checked the details and it showed the seller was verified and hence i had no ambiguity to go ahead and make a payment

Request you to kindly be cautious and have an alert in place to track these kind of fraudsters, i have made multiple purchases on olx and never ever had such a disastrous experience, consumer like me do not go by the seller, we go by the brand olx, assuming there would be minimum guarantee or safety for the payments that we make, i would like my money to be refunded and would like the olx team to take stern action against these kind of fraudsters, i would like the amount to be refunded as quick as possible, any assistance in this regards would be very much appreciated

I had bought a fridge and washing machine through a seller through olx. He promised one year free service warranty. After transportation of fridge, unknowingly we switched it on when we were not supposed to. When we called the seller he told he will send his service people and maybe take some charge. We agreed. We have been calling him for two days and he has been ignoring our complaints and postponing the service. Gake promises and fake warranty. A new fridge is lying waste in the house because of a faulty seller we found through olx. I request you to contact the seller and get back to us.

With reference to ad id ad id: [protected] posted in olx on 5th of june, 2017, i contacted the seller through olx user interface. The seller then contacted me the following day and i agreed to buy the fridge for rs 5000. The item was supposed to be delivered on 8th june, but on repeated phone calls and rescheduling they finally delivered the item on 11th june, sunday. Prior to that day, on saturday night, these guys made me wait till midnight in the hope of delivering the product. However, after one hour of settling down the product, as directed by these guys, i switched it on. But the refrigerator could not cool or form ice even after being kept on overnight. Post that they stopped picking up my call. When contacted by my friend who put me in conference mode, the matter was brought up with the owner. He promised that his repair guy would reach within an hour, and fix the problem. That guy mentioned that the gas had leaked and refilled the gas. But still no cooling happened. Its been four days (Today is 15th june) and they have refused to take my calls and if i call from an unknown number, and they happen to pick up they will disconnect it right away. Actually im really unhappy with the service of yours. I have been trying to post an add to offer job but it looks like you have discarded my adds and hence i paid 899 rs for the featured add and tried posting the add twice and still it gets discarded. And now i just want my money refunded since the add is not posted. I am disgusted with olx for again allowing this fraudulent seller on their website within month of the first complaint by one mr. Mukhopadhay. They delivered the fridge after repeated calling for 2 days, yesterday. Right after keeping the fridge they advised me to not put it on before 1 hour. After 2 hours i put it on, but the fridge didn't cool for the entire night, forget about forming ice. Today i have called them to come by 12, but they are not picking up my call. Have purchased one washing machine and refrigerator from a one seller from olx. Seller name is syed salman. Now he installed machine seems to be fine and he also gave one year warranty. However after a week he both machines started leaking, and now i tried contacting him several times but he is no longer responding to my calls. I am not saying that olx cheat with me cause i am using it from several years i am saying about a amazon.in job ad in your olx app that cheated with me i saw a amazon.in job ad on your olx app that saying they need supervisor in his company thats why i submit my resume as per his company rules after 1 day i got an email in my account you can check ([protected]@gmail.com) (Pwd - [protected]) they send me a confirmation letter and a resource processing form i follow everything as per criteria then they told me to send 1550/- registration fee through online. Then they send me an account no.
Their account no is.[protected], ifsc code-sbin0015841. So i send them 1550/- as per their instruction. And then when i called them to send the parcel carring uniform joing latter etc. But they didn't send anything. So i again called them to ask where is the parcel. And after i asked for the parcel they said we can't give you the job... So i said if you can't give me the job return me the money that i sent you. And now they are abusing me and using spam words. So please give me justice.

I have also faced the same situation as my friend here from these bunch of amazons thieves who claimed them self that they are people from Amazon. I also got a confirmation letter from these ### and they said to them a sum of Rs 1550 at first and then after this, they give me a msg 'that you are now an employee of Amazon' And so to complete the process they asked me to give them Rs 5150 to open my salary a/c so I send them this money through online payment. This is the second time I have paid to them and So they call me and said that the courier will reach tomorrow at my place that contains job id, uniform, gate pass and many more. But later that night I have doubt in me so I search from the net and found out from this site that this person is also doing the same thing like me, So the next day I call them and ask them when will my courier receive so they just hang up at this I know that they are criminal a bunch of thieves who stole money from people, So I call them back they did not take my call So msg them to give back my money and if they don't I will call the police and file FIR but they did not fear at all they replied me a msg with bad words and they did not take my calls after this.
So Please be careful these types of jobs. These people will lure you like professionals people from companies
they ask money from, please don't pay them not even a single penny
I Request OLX website to take care this matter and to allow fraud people to post ads on your website anymore.

Maine ek job ka advertisement dekh kr apply kra HDFC bank me. Mukesh kumar name ka person tha usne mujhse 572rs mange job ko apply krne ke liye maine bhi de diye but vo dobara keh raha ki 800rs or dene padenge fir mene send hi nhi kiye.Ab bhai refund ka to koi seen hi nhi banta kyoki ye sab to fraud tha.To bhai mere thoda sambhlkr rehna ese fraud logo se.

A seller has provided details as washing machine 3yeras old in a very good condition, without seeing the machine we purchased the product later after receiving we came to knew it's not in working conditions. He's telling deal is over what should i do, i lost 6000 for non performing machine. So how olx is allowing this kind of fraud sellers. If a buyer is trusting the photos and seller information and buying the product means it should worth it. Olx should function like quikr, they take the responsibility if buyer wants the product to get delivered and has an option to return it within 3days if buyer not satisfied. Olx please get our money and don't allow these fraud sellers.

Seller has posted the ad of washing machine as working condition based on this without seeing we purchased the machine but after payment once when we try to use it we came to knew it's not working. Even technician has confirmed it's not working. We need money back. Seller not responding. He has cheated us by saying in good working condition. Olx should solve this immediately.

Hi guys,

This same guy (Chetan r sajjan) had one more ad on olx for canon 70d he did put his location in delhi but when i asked him to meet he said i live in bhubaneswar so we cant meet. So i asked him so how will the product will be delivered to me he said "i can ship it to your address using dtdc premium service" rest you can read our whats app conversion i did attached it as screen shot.

After our conversion on whatsapp...

After me saying "i can only do the check thing only" he called and explained that.

He can't send without an advance and "check: thing is to problematic from his side but i said if the check does not clear you can do a legal case on me under the"section 138 in the negotiable instruments act, 1881"but he kept on insisting that i should do the online transfer so i said ok but i can only transfer you 5k and rest upon delivery of the product. He said no send me minimum of 11k so i said i can only do 8k so he agreed on that and i said ok let me think and by tonight i will send you the money in the meantime send me your account details and name so he sent it. With the name"chetan r sajjn" so i googled it and i found this (https://www.consumercomplaints.in/olx-india-chetankumar-r-sajjan-fraud-c1466304...⇄ post and just to confirm i asked hi to send his id proof and that stupid guy sent the same adhara card. So after that i wrote this and he is still waiting for my reply.

Just adding his account details and number so google can pick this up and if some one try's too google it they will find this article.

Sir/ma'am,
On may 19th, 2017 i posted an add (Ref no. 2547179) and paid 899/- as the due charge but olx authority rejected it due to "poor quality", as they told. But they did not return the same amount to my bank account. Only in my olx account it is showing that the amount is refunded but i want to get it in my respective bank account from where i've sent it online.
Therefore i request the concerned authority to refund the amount to my bank account.

I've posted my ad few days back.
I've got people placing an offer and then when it's almost finalised they stop replying and reverting back!!.
This is my first time on olx so far i've been very disappointed and as per your advertisement believe me nothing is sold in 3 days!!
I've had people confirming and asking for phone numbers to discuss the details and nothin happens.
The advertisement of olx is very misleading and i've been very unhappy with how it works.
I've been unable to sell on this website

This is to inform you that mr. The Ad is Posted in the name of Area Ahmedabad Cantonment After i have talk with him on whatsapp no. [protected], he says that this ad is wrongly post in ahmedabad Area Actual or not he says i am from Raipur(chhatissgadh).He had dispatched the same from Raipur Taigornagar through dtdc Speed courier services, Raipur on dt.-17.05.2017 wide Order no.- RR2646283IN. In Evening Mr. Rahul had confirmed me that he has given phone to DTDC courier and they will dispatch the phone on urgent delivery basis. Also he had paid the courier charges of Rs. 482/- to DTDC .

Hi i have ordered iphone 6s 64gb Rose gold near my hometown of 18000 so he asked me payment of 8000 so that he will be assure to send iPhone but aftr payment he is not picking calls which indicate him as a fraud.

But the courier detail is not traceable yet. Please see this matter as on the behalf of details given by consignor I had transferred the amount of Rs. 8, 000/- via Paytm transfer which instantly did not went.. He said he is in requirement of Purchase of iPhone 7 and he needs money for this instantly.

After the deal is nor the phone no. is active niether the address over the invoice is correct. One example is guy himself introduve as Rajjev C/o Rahul Talreja bearing mobile no.[protected], residing somewhere in Raipur or Uttarpradesh. Now after over From[protected] After the Deal when i have not recd. courier I tried calling same no., the phone was switched off nor not Reachable and also not active on whats app

Please help me to take out this matter as I have been robbed by these people (Consignor)

They (OLX Customer Care) just tell that "We have blocked the seller from our website and try to wont happen in future". But they wont take any penalize action against seller. So you need to complaint in Consumer court against seller as well as OLX. otherwise file a case in Cyber crime police.

I was trying to log in to my account [protected]@hotmail.com and the website didn't allow me to enter and keep flashing an error message, "Account Banned, " I am surprised to see the message. I didn't receive mail message from OLX why they banned my account. Very unprofessional service and gesture.

This sort of attitude of OLX moderators is highly objectionable and totally uncalled for. I request to take immediate remedial steps and get restored my OLX account and the ads which I have had posted using my precious time.

You may certainly post a new Ad on the site. As per our posting policy, you can only post limited number of free Ads in a particular category.

The Ad limit differs with the category and it depends on the number of Ads posted, edited and deleted by you in the span of 30 days.

We can see that you have opted to delete your account as well. When you delete your account, the history remains intact and when you login/register using the same number, it takes you back your original account.

We hope this information is useful. Please be assured that your account will be deleted 30 days after you have opted for the same.

Inspite of repeated complaints regarding mobile no.[protected]. This guy has been cheating people across india by selling pups at throw away prices... His name is some shahzad khan, he says he is look alike of salman khan... I dont know why u guys dont block his no... I tried to put one ad on olx about these frauds.. But u guys rejected my ad several times and as a result whenever i login by my wassup no.[protected]. Its says login error... I wanted to aware people that pls beware of these gangs... On the other hand u received innumerable complaints abt this no. From victims but u choose to reamain silent and this guy is posting ads freely from delhi, chennai, bangalore... Etc... W/o any problem.. He sends abusive audio incase u dont deposit money in his account... Wat is ur team doing? I dont understand u must scan ads who sells items cheap... People fall in their trap as result they get cheated... Like he sells husky pups in 7k whereas the actual price is anything b/w 30k to 50k... People dont know but u guys must look into it and block his no. And report the same to police... I hope u ll act this time and send this cheat behind bars...
