I have been using OLX since 4-5 years and have bought a lot item through them. But today when I want to sell my phone and post an add they have suspended my account for absolutely no reason and I'm sure I have not breached any of their usage policy.

Also there is no way to contact OLX customer care even through email.

Really saddened by this behaviour of OLX and I request to give me access to my account. I'm also ready to do my KYC verification.

Though the management of OLX has taken precautionary measures to check the entry of criminals and fake traders on their sites, under some
unrecognisable profiles, many cods have encroached the olx sites, under the pretext of genuine traders.This is a very unhealthy and dangerous trend.Many of the sellers and buyers as well are not the real traders.Most of them are crooked to cheat the gullible.The unfair practice of the fradulent elements should be checked immediately.OLX should impose strict rules for the traders.Genuine traders only should have the access to the olx sites.Hope, the higher authorities of Olx would look into the matter to take stringent measures to filter the traders.The customer care cell of olx.should be made easily accessible.This will enable to notify them the fradulent activities on the sites.

Olx India has banned my account for no reason. I just did nothing wrong. I want my account back.

Mere sath olx per mobile ke name per fraud hua hai

My Ccount has been blocked without my consent. Also no one informed nything . I dont know whydo they advertise so much if tgey dont want to let nybody sell or buy anything.

I looked a job in olx stop making ppl fraud and using their hardwork and getting paid by themselves just refund my money plz i beg u . i have put my hardwork and sweat upon your work and 1800 was money i had given through my all time savings have some humanity ppl i[censored] dont have the ability to pay people salary atleast refund my amount plz

I posted an add today to sell my sofa set. Within 5-10 someone asked my number and called. According to him, he was a furniture reseller and ready to buy this. He would send his worker to pick it up and transaction will be online. When I insisted in cash payment, he got angry and started abusing me with an advise that I should go to Pakistan :). Obviously he was from one of those gangs who try to steal money with online transactions.
Well, I was surprised to see that soon after that I was not able to login to the app and I got message that my account has been suspended.
So, is it that some of the OLX insider have started supporting these scamsters.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I got scammed on 7th Oct 2020 using OLX platform, in which i lost Rs 1, 97, 000/- which is a hard earned money of a middle class family. We all know that we are not suppose to share our OTP, PIN and even link shared by unknown person. But this QR scan is something new, which I was not aware of, and got trapped in it, as i trusted the OLX organization that no such thing can happen on their platform.
Along with the fraudster, OLX is equally responsible for this scam, which is not at all an authentic place for a genuine buyer and seller and giving open platform for the fraudsters for their activities.

Case against OLX:
I posted an Ad on 6th Oct selling a furniture and AC's, the fraudster contacted me on 6th Evening asking for the number, which normally we share with the dealer, which i shared with him. Then he started the game on 7th Oct around 1pm. The deal was done for Rs 37000/-He said ill make the payment and then he will send the vehicle for the items pickup. He told to accept the money on PAYTM. He sent QR code to scan and accept the payment, which was a totally different way of payment. When we refused that way, he said we do it daily Ma'am, you just have to accept it by sending and receiving the money. He played a trick of Rs 10 which worked for us and we got trapped in it.
There was a gap of 15-16 hrs in between posting an Ad and buyer contacting me, why OLX didn't alert me to not to deal with this person, as he was out of my reach, which i checked later, the location was Assam as per "Caller ID NAME APP".
After the scam i dont know how OLX comes to know that the fraud has happened and then they remove the fraudsters account which shows inactive user.
OLX allows every single person to open an account, share their location and start the deal. Then what for they are asking for the location. They are not even bothered what happens with their customers afterwards. No one has even called me to take an update.
I wish I could have read OLX fraud related messages floating in Google, YOU TUBE before, so I could have saved my money.
I strongly request you to Please get their license cancelled, as its an unauthentic platform for common man. It has given an open platform for fraudsters to come do the crime. Even OLX is also aware that many such cases are happening nowadays, then what have they done till date to keep their customer safe.
It has miserably failed the customer safety test.
It should shut down its organization with immediate effect to keep customer safe.
Even when i spoke with the Customer care, she said their is no safety as of now, and they are working on KYC .But what with the customers who have already faced such crimes.
OLX is fully responsible for refunding my money with the charge of the trauma we have faced.

Steps taken by me:
a. I informed CITI bank on 7th Oct 4:53pm to stop all the payments as it was a fraud which has happened with us. They should have raised to 3rd party payment bank for UPI transactions fraud and to IMPS transaction to the respective banks. I don't know what actions they took after that.

b. I have filed an FIR on 8th Oct, which also seems to be very slow. the fraudster's no is shared in FIR and then also no action has been taken against him, as the no is still ON and still in reach and he is looting other families. Every day he is active on watsapp. If “I” as an individual can check the location of a person, then how many days police needs to trace a criminal.

c.
The PAYTM cyber cell was informed on 7th Oct evening after scam had happened. They were having all transaction reference numbers shared by me on "[protected]@PAYTM.COM ".
They should have raised the request on customers behalf to the respective banks to get their accounts Freezed as soon as they came to know the scam has happened.
The Paytm payment bank had full authority to take the appropriate action against the fraudster for misusing their platform, and had full authority to pull the money back, even if the fraudster had transferred the amount to other accounts.

I got the transaction details from Paytm bank on 11th Oct, from there we got to know that money had been transferred to SBI, ICICI banks.
Here PAYTM was responsible to inform SBI and ICICI to freeze the fraudsters account on 7th Oct itself.
Even till date i am not aware whether the fraudster's 3 accounts are freezed or not as the ICICI and SBI Bank have not yet replied to CyberPolice after reminder 1 also.

My OLX account has been banned for no reason. I haven't used my account for more than half an year now and today when I logged into it using my phone number, it shows that my account has been banned. Can I know the reason behind it? And I would be really happy if my problem is looked into.

Olx company is fraud . They have banned my account for no reason. I have been OLX customer since 3 years.
Please fix this glitch or provide a valid reason....

I m not able to login in my account. It shows it has been suspended but I didnt discussed anything or did anything that do not go through ur policy. And even if it happened it was due to a mistake. So I want you to check my account and then reopen it. I have been Olx costumer for around 2-3 years.Neither I posted anything prohibited nor I commit any offence or any fraud

My brother make a deal with sabir Ahmed about iphone and and I send 29000 via google pay for phone but I didn’t get the phone . He said there is problem with courier service and he want me to pay customs duty also for giving me the product.
When I ask him for courier details he gave me a mail ID

Yesterday was i bought package of Rs 1099 but my add is not live so my payment for refund for to my account ya continue my car sell add

There is a massive scam using qr code on olx platform. The numbers are being shared to third party unauthorized users to call directly and scam sellers. I have been victim of 20000.00 fraud.

I had posted ad to sell my furniture. There were two buyers interested and had requested my contact number for discussion. However i got a call from unknown number immediately...

I was looted by a fraudster who pretended to be an Army official
He took away my hard earned Money
and now im very disheartened and depressed
Please help me get out of this problem
Now i have to forcibly do overtime to earn that money that i took loan from my Master
That man told hs name "Dharam Singh" and said he worked in Jaipur Airport
Asked me for courier charges to send the phone
He lied again and again saying that he hasnt recieved any payment, by sending fake images of paytm
He also sent Official IDs of a person in army
After that I called him with another number
when he answered the phine he directly Said --"Phone is of this amount and you have to send this this amount of money to me for courier"
And when I said i will myself come to take the phone, He denied.

There was a transaction in my bank account. I called customer care about that transaction. But customer care considered it as a fraud and blocked my account. But i had called to query not to block my account. So now my hdfc a/c is locked. Debit card is blocked.net banking is blocked.

I visited bank to enable my account and net banking they asked me to fill a form. I did. As per them i will get my net-banking credentials i have not received any message/mail from bank end.

Due to this my salary wont be deposited, loan emi will trigger to the account and bank will not allow to do the transaction. So will pay the penalty for that emi as well.

Now who is responsible? Is it the customer care represntive/ bank/ myself who had called them for a query

My name is sagar sahu and olx is a very bad service it bans accounts for now reason this should be stopped by olx
