I posted an ad for my gaming headphones and paid 599/- to be featured. The ad was alive for 1 hour and then taken down after 1hour the reason being wrong category.

I contacted support and they were not helpful at all just mentioning the reason for taking down the ad (wrong category). I asked for a refund but they said they couldn't help me with that.

How can you take my money and refuse to feature my ad. This is absolutely ridiculous. The reason the customer care people are giving is nonsensical.

My headphones are gaming headphones and they work with a windows computer. How does it matter what category I post, I have paid for the ad. How can you take down my ad and refuse a refund?

I need a refund for the 599/- ASAP.

OLX is cheating people, taking their money and then refusing a refund. Is this how big companies make money off of common public?
How do you justify this?

The issue was escalated and got a call from some senior person in the team who kept repeating like a parrot about the company policy and that she cannot issue refund. Later I got link for feedback and after I gave a negative feedback, I got a mail saying they are working on my issue and it will be sorted and finally after a month of back and forth they issued refund. The senior person to whom I had spoken them called and told me change my feedback since refund was issued. Why should I? My money was sick with you for so many days for no reason and no service. But somehow I convinced myself and went to the link to change feedback but the link had expired and so I cdnt change feedback. My refund got credited in my account. Satisfied. Thank you for taking up the issue with olx.
