OneAssist Consumer Solutions — cheating on phone insurance | |||
Hi team, Concerns: 1. Misguiding the customer by not giving the insurance, (Case got rejected For not having the invoice copy for which we were ready to pay the penalty). 2. Delay in decision making and confusion within the team members of one assist taking 2 months to resolve a case. 3. Returned phone by tampering it further by changing the screen and inside spare parts. 4. Charging the customer for the tamper done by the one assist executives. 5. Even after paying the same doing a fraud and mental harassment by charging/ asking further more money to repair the same. My brother bought a samsung s8 few months before, and i insisted him to take one assist insurance on it. Unfortunately he got a scratch on the display of the phone, which he gave under insurance claim; the same was rejected as he lost his invoice copy, as a policy is not correct as it he was ready to pay penalty for the lost invoice however the phone was returned but shocking was that it was completely tampered. We understood the same as the screen was completely changed and the phone was not getting switched on (The ph. Was in working condition when it was picked up, only the display had a scratch). We complained about this to happy to assist, the same went on for more than a month but no one resolved the issue, however latter they forced us to pay an amount of inr 6700.00 to get the phone repaired, which hard heatedly we agreed for. However we clearly mentioned that it is completely a fraud, as the phone was in working condition. Now after the phone is picked up they are forcing us to pay another odd inr 3000.00, to get the battery changed. This is completely a fraud; the phone was completely in working condition when it was 1st time given to one assist. They have tampered his phone and taken out the original spare parts and now charging my brother to get the phone repaired. Kindly help. Was this information helpful? | |||
