Dear sir
This is with regard to the insurance for my mobile phone handset (One plus ime i[protected]) which was done from one assist company through their online portal (https://oneassist.in).
The insurance was done in the year 2018 and after one 1 year the same was renewed in june 2019.
There are many flaws in the the company which i would like to bring into limelight
1) company never reveals to the customer that they are not the people who are giving the services themselves, rather than they are just a mediators or agents who get the insurance done from other insurance companies. On asking them a copy they are unable to provide the copy of insurance with the insurance company.
Now only i came to know from oneassist company that for first year the insurance was with new india insuranceltd and for next year it was with dfhl company. This is never disclosed to the customer
They keep the customer in dark and does not provide any details of agreement or any insurance copy to the customer. They give the reasons that it is their internal matter which they cannot share.
Secondly, my handset got damaged in the 1st year of purchase for which i had put the claim and got the handset repaired through one assist. The reason was that it fell from my pocket while walking.
Unfortunately, my handset again got damaged when it fell from my pocket while walking, i approached the company for repair of the product. They informed me that since the insurance company previously was different which passed your claim and now it is different (I. E dhfl) they have rejected it.
I fail to understand that they have never informed me that they are not the insurance company itself i. E they are just the agents and why cant they provide a insurance document /agreement between customer and the insurance company.
Moreover, how can one company pass a claim based on the same reasons of mobile handset damage and the other company rejects it.
They also provided me the reason that since the reason provided during the first claim during the first year is same as for the second claim during second year, they will count it as negligence which i think is totally different scenarios and i think claim should be provided.
Sir i request you to look into this matter as i think one assist company is keeping people in dark as they project themselves to be a insurance company themselves and never disclosed to customer about the agreement details.
I would also request you to look into this matter as i should get the repair services for my handset which i have paid for through one assist

Please deactivate Renewal charges on my HDFC credit card. 1899 rupees is getting deducted every year. Please deactivate asap.
