OneAssist Consumer Solutions — rejected claim for damaged screen of handset | |||||
I have purchased redmi note 4 from mi.com with protection plan which is provided by oneassist. After diwali vacation, when cleaning the house during that my phone was fallen down and screen was cracked. So i raised claim for the same to oneassist with proper documents in mentioned criteria of claim as shown on mi.com. However the insurance company rejected my claim mentioning that "the subject claim is not admissible under exclusion 10 - loss or damage caused by wilful negligence, improper handling (No proper care of handset has been taken by insured to safeguard the property)". If i can handle my handset properly then no need to take insurance. Further i have taken protection plan from oneassist so it's their problem if claim is rejected by insurance company. They have given replacement of screen with 3364?- rs estimation which is not negligible for me. So like this oneassist company making fool to all by not giving services against protection plan.
